Kieiru sighed deeply, as his body seemed to sink into the bed. He closed his eyes, not sleeping quite yet. "Many boys around yours or Kihaku-san's age are like that...they get panicked when put into that similar scenario, and they just blurt out something..."

Kieiru quivered slightly, as he opened his eyes, looking at her. "...is something wrong Love?" He turned his head towards her, dark circles lined his eyes, and a scar so faint it could hardley be seen traveled up from the bottom of his jaw up towards his left eye. It stopped just below it. "Reigen-san...is everything alright...?"

Tartii Tarricatta Tartii Toma pulled his coat tighter around him, cursing silently to himself at the cold snow that numbed the tip of his nose and cheeks. He blinked away the white powder from his eyes as he saw a faint movement across the standing stones towards the fence. He flicked his ears foward and the tip of his tail curled inwards. What, was he something to stare at? Was he some attraction in the zoo? Of course not, why the heck did some brat think he could just-
He felt a shiver crawl up his spine. The chill wasn't from the weather, but rather an unseen force laying dormant inside him for a good amount of time. The back of Toma's neck suddenly began to burn and itch like crazy and he clamped his palm over it. He wanted to yell at the kid, but he couldn't find the words. Instead, he shifted over his 'grandmother's' grave protectively.
Sky sighed and looked down. The contents of the grocery bag was still there... But it gave him an Idea. He quickly shovelled through the back and pulled out a bright red apple. He looked at it for a moment, then at the boy. Hesitating, he stretched his hands though the bars. "A..Are you hungry..?" He asked, is voice very quiet but still loud enough to hear.Toma abruptly moved his hand away from his neck, his tail flicking madly behind him when the other boy's hand moved to the same position. Was this brat miming him?! How obnoxious! How-
Was that an apple? That bright, large, red chunk of fruit dangling infront of him from the boy's shaking hands? Toma hesitantly got to his feet, eyeing the fruit suspicously. It could be poisioned...wait, the heck? That was ridiculous! Now he was being silly, just plain dang silly. He gave a curt nod and snatched the apple from the boy's hand, much the same way he took food from various venders. "Can I help ya kid?" He mumbled between a mouth full of food.
But he also was kind of scared of him, he thought that he should try to help him though... But he was kind of Jealos that he could go into the cemetery. "I was just stopping to check on someone..." He mumbled, looking down to the ground, not really wanting to talk about it.

Kieiru halted. He blinked, and sighed. He reclined again; he knew and feared that this question would come up eventually. He closed his eyes, and sighed again. "It was your choice as to who you lost your ears to...a cute guy you had a crush on...someone who liked you and you liked him...it happens to almost everyone...they like someone, and they end up losing their ears to them...its natural...and Im sure your father would mutilate me if I was the one whod taken your ears...I dont want a repeat of my childhood..." He fell silent, as his hair covered his eyes, tears starting to form in his eyes.

Reigen shifted next to Kieiru a bit, but didn't say anything. Finally after a minute or two she looked at Kieiru and spoke. "I'm sorry...I mean I was just curious to know what you thought. I didn't mean to bring up any bad memories for you." She sighed and rolled over on her other side. "I shouldn't of said anything."

Kieiru looked at her, and frowned. He shook his head and wiped his eyes quickly, as he curled his hand and arm under her back, drawing her closer to him, as he embraced her gently, his face in her back and hair. "Its alright Reigen-san. Dont think anything like that...Im just anxious, nervous and... fearful of how your father may react when i meet him..."

Reigen turned so that Kieiru could see her face. "Kieiru you shouldn't worry. I mean sure he might be angry at first because of the age differents, but once he understands the situation he'll come to understand."

Kieiru looked at her, and smiled tiredly. "Alright Reigen-san...I trust you..." He smiled and tilted his head, then reclined again, sighing deeply still smiling.

Reigen smiled and kissed Kieiru's cheek. "I'm glad I could calm your nervs a bit, Kieiru. Expeshally since you have clamed mine." After kissing his cheek she snuggled up against his arm gently laying her head lightly on his sholder as she closed her eyes, not yet sleeping however.

Kieiru smiled and kissed her head. He hugged her close, and tilted his head towards hers. He closed his eyes, starting to drift to sleep. Before he fell, he asked one thing; "When...did you say your father...was coming...home...?" He was falling asleep, managing to keep awake to hear her answer.

Reigen smiled, "Sometime in the afternoon, he didn't say exactly what time." She could tell that Kieiru was tired and she didn't want to keep him for his sleep much longer so she kissed his head and sighed. "Don't worry though, I'll be here with you when he first gets here."

Kieiru smiled again, and drifted to sleep. He felt at ease with her being close to him, as he held her closer to him.

Reigen fell asleep quickly after speaking. She hadn't realized that she was so tired and when she awoke the next morning still in Kieiru's arms it surprised her.
