Lacuna puckered her bottom lip and sighed. "On what terms?", she murmured, burying her face into Ryuji's chest.
Hedon tried his best to keep up with the woman, following as close as he could. "I mean only if you're- " Hedon took a big whiff of the food that was being prepared and grinned. "I mean, sure, I'd love to."

Ryuji pulled her up on him, facing her squarely. "I need you to realize that I'm not going to be here all the time. But, I want you to stay here when I'm gone. It shouldn't be for very long periods. Sometimes, I'm not going to act like myself..." he rambled, shaking his head as even he was getting confused. He'd have to tell her everything eventually, but it was getting to that point that stressed him out.
Miyoko giggled softly, nodding to him as she lead him into the large dining room, where a woman was busying herself bringing several large dishes to the table. She smiled to them, shuffling over to pull chairs out for them. "Thanks, mum, it looks delicious~" the girl cooed.
"You're welcome," Ashiri laughed softly, patting her head before turning to Hedon. "Help yourself, dear," she said, returning into the kitchen to continue bringing the dishes out. She had brought out four large dishes of different kinds of meat, and different various side dishes consisting of rice, some kind of salad, and different fried dishes.

Hedon smiled to the woman and nodded to her, "Thank you very much", he said to the busy cook. Hedon's stomach grumbled once more, sighing he looked to girl for guidance. Hedon figured his best bet would be to mimic Miyoko's movements, he didn't know this family very well and didn't want to be disrespectful at all. "It all looks so good", he whispered to Miyoko.
Lacuna chewed her bottom lip in thought. Sighing she shook her head, "What do you mean you're not going to act like yourself?", she questioned. Lacuna frowned, she didn't mind Ryuji beign gone every now and then as long as it was for short periods of time, but she didn't quite understand why he wouldn't be himself. "This has to do with your Father", she stated rather than asked.

Miyoko giggled loudly, ruffling the man's hair. "I told you mum's a good cook," she spoke, using her chopsticks to take several items from different dishes and put them on her plate. "This is spicy pork," she spoke, gesturing. "Then there is teriyaki chicken, teriyaki beef, and also duck, which is my brother's favorite, otherwise mum wouldn't make it. There's rice, gyoza, tempura," she rambled, getting a little bit of everything.
Ashiri finally brought out the final dish, which was a tray stacked with teacups and a few teapots. She set them on the table, pouring tea for Hedon and Miyoko before walking over to an intercom, announcing dinner.
Ryuji sighed softly, brushing hair out of her face. He nodded, and parted his lips to speak when his mother's voice calling dinner rang through the room.

Hedon did the same, getting a little bit of everything, his portions seemed to be much larger than Miyokos. Hedon found what he thought to be an appropriate seat and sat down as he awaited the rest of the family. There were alot of chairs, he wondered just how many people would be joining them. Sipping some of his tea he nodded happily. "I love Tea", he said blowing on the top of it to cool it some.
Lacuna's heart dropped into the pit of her stomach as Ashiri's voice filled the room. Bowing her head in disappointment she stood from the bed and fixed her her clothes, smoothing her skirt out. Lacuna took a deep breath, she had decided- she wasn't going to cry, he would tell her when he was ready. "Shall we..?", she asked holding her hand out to the man.

Miyoko smiled to him, nudging his foot with hers under the table. She blew on her tea, too, taking a sip with a happy sigh. "I'm sure you will like it," she spoke.
Ashiri sat down at the end of the table after she had got food, and looked towards the two that were already sitting. "Go ahead and start any time," she offered, taking a bite of her sunomono.
Ryuji nodded, standing and accepting her hand. "Yes, love," he spoke, leading Lacuna down the stairs and into the diningroom. He gave her a plate and chopsticks before getting some of his own, collecting the duck his mother made him on the plate, only getting rice to accompany it.

Hedon chewed his bottom lip, looking down at the food and to his chopsticks. "Do don't screw with me..", he whispered to the chopsticks giving them an evil look. Making sure no one was watching, he stabbed a piece of tempura with one of the sticks and popped it into his mouth. "This really is good", he said to Ashiri. "Did you make all of this by yourself?", he asked curiously. Hedon gently nudged back at Miyoko, sticking out his tongue.
Lacuna helped herself to some rice and spicy pork. Sitting next to Ryuji she helped both herself and Ryuji to some tea, being careful as she poured the hot liquid. Lacuna set their cups adjacent to their plates and delicately began picking at her food. Sighing she took a sip of her tea, she wasn't very hungry.

Miyoko shot a glance to Hedon, giggling as she started to eat some of the gyoza her mom made.
"Yes, I did. I'm glad you like it," Ashiri said with a smile. She took a deep breath, her eyes fluttering closed as she grasped the table edge.
Ryuji pulled Lacuna closer to him, an arm around her as he took a bite of the food on his plate, chewing it slowly. He had no need to speak, and let his fingertips gently massage his girlfriend, hoping she'd feel more comfortable.

Hedon raised a brow at the woman curiously. Looking to Miyoko a bit concerned he spoke low, "Is she okay..?", he asked noticing the woman's odd behavior.
Lacuna smiled weakly to Ryuji and nodded. "Okay fine..", she muttered eating some of her food. Lacuna looked to the unfamiliar face and then Miyoko. "Is that Miyoko's boyfriend?", she asked Ryuji curiously.

Miyoko leaned towards Hedon, nodding to him. "She's okay. She gets dizzy spells from being here too long. She's supposed to be in Heaven, but she gets visitation rights," the girl explained, hoping he'd understand.
Ryuji looked to the unfamiliar main, quirking a brow before shrugging slightly. "I have no idea..." he spoke, making a face.

"Ahhh..", Hedon nodded, stabbing another piece of the tempura. "I used to have a friend that was part angel, she had a similar problem", he explained. Hedon looked down at his rice and huffed, this was going to be much more difficult a mission than the tempura had been.
Lacuna nodded, watching the pair for a few moments before eating more of the spicy pork and her rice. Lacuna refilled both Ryuji's and her own glass of tea. "How is your food Dear?", she asked offering a smile to Ryu.

Miyoko nodded, pouting. "Mommy's a full angel, so it's really difficult for her to be here for more than a few hours," she explained. She watched Hedon, sensing his apprehension about the chopsticks. Slyly, she conjured a fork and slid it to him.
Ryuji stared at Hedon through narrowed eyes, distractedly turning to Lacuna when he heard her speak. "Fine, darling," he answered, idly stroking her side as he took another bite of his food.

Hedon nodded, "I'm sorry to hear that. Atleast she can visit though", he said. Hedon took the fork in to his hand and winked to Miyoko mouthing the words "Thanks". Hedon took a sip of his tea, pleased to be in such good company.
Lacuna delicately picked up small gathered pieces of rice with her chopsticks and plopped them into her mouth. She was troubled by what Ryuji and her had talked about before, but tried to push the thoughts from her mind. Smiling to Ryuji weakly she cradled his leg with hers below the table.

"Yeah, I'd be really sad if I couldn't see her. I'm not allowed to realm hop until I'm twenty, and even then I'm not sure if I can go to Tengoku to see her, because I'm a dark angel, not a light angel," Miyoko rambled, idly rubbing her foot against Hedon's under the table as she talked and ate.
Ryuji sighed softly, holding Lacuna closer yet as he ate more slowly, his gaze piercing through the stranger with his younger sister. Don't worry, Ryuji spoke softly to Lacuna mentally. We'll talk about it soon.

"How old are you anyways?", Hedon asked. "The realm I'm from is a little different. You're always allowed in, but if you're under age you need a chaperon, if you're not from the realm there's some legal stuff to sign." Hedon thought some of his home and nodded firmly. Hedon could sense some tension at the table and scanned the peeople who sat with them for the first time. Spotting Ryuji's evil eyes, he raised a brow and turned back to Miyoko. "Whos that?", he whispered to the woman.
Lacuna smiled, she could tell Ryuji was uneasy about the stranger and giggled some, she thought it was cute that Ryuji was so protective of his siblings. Closing her eyes to try and concentrate a little more she spoke mentally to Ryuji, We'll wait if you're uncomfortable talking about it Dear. I understand, she insisted.
