Yay, it's not coming soon anymore!
I say, it's nice to have you around more often Alutian.

Sam walks into the common room and heads up to her dorm.
She starts to pack her trunk, and takes out some clothes for the express and changes into them. She packs her robes into her trunk, and starts to pack all her delicate. As she closes the trunk, she then remembers the mysterious robe, circlet, extra white liquid, and blanket to the bottom of her trunk. "At least I'll have something to wear if there's a dance or ball." Sam thought to her self. And, she could wear it to one of her father's business parties too.
After all, they were ministry parties.

Ayumi runs into the common room after her long absence and quickly goes into her dorm to start packing her things.

Sam runs into the common room and up to her dorm, with her trunk trailing behind her. She looks around at the third year room and sighs. She was the only third year...

Lyra bounces up the stairs with her trunk and owl cage, having already let Cadrion out to fly to the owlery. She spots Sam standing in a doorway. "Hey Sam. How are you? Glad to be back at Hogwarts again? It's kinda strange to think that I'm a sixth year now." Looking around the room, Lyra has an idea. "Would you mind if I stayed in here instead? I don't much like the thought of staying in a room all by myself." [[Just had to edit this because I looked on the first page and realized that I'm now a sixth year, which is very strange. I may see if I can be held back one year at some point, at least until the graduates subforum really gets up and running.]]

"Hello Lyra. I'm glad about it. 3rd year! I only have 4 more terms to go...kind of sad. But, yeah, I'll stay here with you. I really don't like empty rooms either." Sam said, walking down the spiral stair case.

 Sam pokes her head up from behind the couch and sees a first year standing by the door. "Hello! I'm Sam. I think we met on the train. I'm the prefect. Did you have trouble with the door? Lyra is some where around here...she's the deputy head. Come on, I'll show you to the dorms. Follow me." Sam says, in what seemed like one rushed sentence, as she rises from the couch and heads to the dorms.

"Oh, Okay." Tsuki said, a little confused. "I didn't have too much trouble with the door. It asked me to name three types of dragons. I named five. Norwegian Ridgeback, Hungarian Horntail, Welsh Green, Swedish Short-snout, and Chinese Fireball. My dad taught me a few things."

"Ahh, nice," Sam says, digging for a key in her pocket. "Okay, so here is the first year's dormitory. You'll be sharing this room for the year with one other person, but you two won't be the only first years. There's a boy arriving too." Sam looks around at the room, and walks over to one of the beds. "Oh look, you have the one by the window." Sam then steps back so she can look at the bed. "I'll give you time to un-pack. Since your early, the others won't be arriving yet. I'll call you from the common room when it's time to go down to the feast." And with that, Sam leaves her be so she can un-pack here belongings.

 Tsuki opens her bag and fishes out a hair clip, and places it in her hair carefully before putting her clothes in drawers. She pulled her mirror out from her bag as well. "Behave, you" she told it,and then picked Slinky out of his cage and put his little collar on. "I know you hate it, Slink, but it's necessary."

Tsukiko put put Slnky on her shoulder and walked out the door, smling widely. It was really nice in the common room, and she at once pulled out a sketchbook and started to draw.

Lyra makes her way down the stairs from the dormitories. "Hello again Ayumi. I see you made it here safely on the boats. And who's this?" Lyra asks, referring to the cat on Ayumi's shoulder.

Alutian dashed up the staircase to the Ravenclaw Common Room door, obviously in a hurry with her robes askew and her breathing sharp. The brass eagle turned its head to regard her.
"I don't need - "
"Does a Prophecy truly spoken bind one to destiny?"
"I have neither the time nor the inclination - "
"Does a Prophecy, truly spoken, bind its subjects to destiny?" The knocker prodded. Alutian just about swore.
"You bloody - fine. I'll play along. No. A Seer exists outside time for a moment when he makes a prophecy, and so sees future, past, and present as one. However, seeing the future as the present does not set the future in stone as it is the free will of people which creates, or created, the future, and free will presumably could change. However, it won't, because any change would not be in the nature of the people whose choices created that future. So from that point of view, there is no destiny, and the future creates the prophecy rather than the prophecy creating the future."
"A hurried, incomplete, and crude explanation," said the knocker. Alutian grit her teeth and began hissing short and possibly rude words under her breath. "But," the eagle continued, "it is adequate for this purpose. You may enter."
"Thank you, your Majesty!"
The door opened, ignoring that remark, and Alutian stepped through wondering, for half a second, if that particular form of entry was really worth all the hassle.
Then the real reason for her run to the tower made itself present at the forefront of her mind again, and the door was allowed to survive yet again.
Alutian shot off a couple of blue sparks from her wand to get the attention of students already in the common room, and a large grin spread itself across her face.
"Listen up, you lot! There's great news - Professor Adonis is back!"
She waited for the cheers of the older students to die down.
"I bet you're all wondering where he went - well, here's not the time or place. When you've got the time, go here to see a little game we worked out for you all. House points go to the winner, so let's see those Ravenclaw minds at work!"
