so with my last game being fought to a draw I feel I could have done better with a different reserve deployment.
Once I saw their entire deployment of their troops I dropped my entire army on one half of the feild and cleared out everything that lived on it. But had i sent 2 or 3 squads to the other side of the feild I might have been able to do more damage forcing their deployment and sqeezing them in the center until they were finished

I still fought them to a Draw. Those terminators completely forgot about the power of my "Short Kantreel Pattern 19 Megathule Miracles :1". And the fact that I have a Heavy Bolter in nearly every squad helped alot to. I may add a missle launcher if I can because I have 2 men to build tonight.
The Tourney is tomorrow and I beleive this list has great potenial

ok well heres boil down
Game 1: Necrons, Loss Mission: (Dont Remember) the mission really played into this guys favor by severly restricting my deployment.
Game 2: Night Lords, Loss Mission: Esacalting Scouting Engagment. Not sure lack of trying but I could hit nothing. And when i thought I had his bikers finished with my HQ I failed a moral test. Commisar Exectued the officer and we kept going but losing those 3 powerfist attacks hurt big
Game 3: Imperial Guard, Minor Victory Mission: Archeotech
This is where my drop troops paid off big. Dropping them onto and seizing the objective won me the mission. The board was dominated by a large terrain feature with after me finding the object on my side forced him to have to slog across and around the rock. Everytime a unit would make it over I would be hit by exterminators. Another big thing is the first turn I killed 12 Guardsmen with 1 shot, a buetiful hit.
Game 4: Orks, Loss Mission: Sugar Rush
again I just couldnt kill enough

so brookman Ive been try to convince my local gamers that since they think guard suck so much they should have sustained assualt.
they were staunchly against this

The Imperial Guard are like the Harlem Globetrotters.
They're good when used properly, take a lot of skill, and you'd feel cheated without the gimmiks.
The Guard have their flashlights, and the Globetrotters have their confetti/water gig. It's not a Globetrotter's game without it. Just like it's not a Guard insult without it.

Yes well, I am getting sick and tired of these fecking "jokes", they've been around for years. Maybe I'm past the juvinile jokes that I no longer find them funny, but it's getting really old, really fast. Last time I made a crack at marines I got an angry PM.
