"I'm not mad, Storm," Jay said. "I'm talking to Skull becuase he actually understands me. Tia Dalma's work, you see. He just can't talk back yet,"

Ranu walked beside his cousin silently. He watched the bird silently and frowned, it seemed strange, why would his Aunt be here? She'd liked quiet, yet she was here, near a pirate port?
Jaenelle walked up to Storm and crossed her arms in front of her, as if aged about 5, Auntie Storm! She said with a scowl on her face. Papa won't let me spend time with Cousin Natasha!
Nightmare walked up beside the younger female. Since he wasn't allowed to touch any of the females, he was determined to keep Jaenelle safe from a few of the pirates he'd seen looking at her.

Kibo Botch ((I try, I try)) Kibo: Unfortunately, I agree. That word's been killed so completely, that even when one says it and means it, no one would believe them. Kibo sighs and hangs his head, making a small tendril of wine float around the air above his glass. ((Since it was so long ago I figured I'd quote so we had a refresher! Sorry I've been MIA, one of my birds flew away and I've been emotastic. I couldn't even stand myself.... Bleh, I'm slowly crawling out of the slump, though. ))
Sunny tilted her head to the side and bit her lip. "I don't know... I would think that there is still hope. Some hint that gives it all away or a particular feeling in the gut... It just takes the right person to be able to divine it. But then again, I suppose there are masterful actors out there and we all get tricked at least once, be it by our own hearts or the wiles of another" She explained, enjoying the discussion.

Natasha walked to the large, rusting, iron gate of the graveyard and pushed it open. It gave a loud screeching creak as it slowly swung open.
Although there was a tiny bit of light outside, the depths of the graveyard were pitch black and the pair were led through the darkness by the faint glow of the fire-bird.

[Sorry about the bird. Hope it comes back.]
Wordlessly, Ranu gripped Dream's hilt, bringing the sword over to be infront of him. His eyes slid left and right. The lack of light meant little to him, and he could see mist seeping over the further graves. He opened a mental communication to Natasha and said swiftly <'ware enemies right> before returning to his silent vigil. The mist came closer and Ranu let out a soft hiss of breath.

(((welcome back Storm!!))) "me? do i look bored?" Aubry ((with a "b" Storm, not a d....)) realized that she was slouching and she probably did look bored. "well, since it is just us, i was wondering, are those girls of yours really birds, or is that just a silly rumor?"

Kibo: Yeah, tricked once...
He takes a drink from his glass, squeezing it tightly as his thoughts mocked him. As unwittingly slams the glass back down on the table, shoving the neck of the glass right through the head.
Kibo: Oh my, I'm sorry.
He taps the table, and the glass fragments flies back into the shape of the wine glass. Kibo bites his lip as the fragments in his skin are pulled out and put back into their place as the cracks disappear.
Kibo: There, good as new...

Sunny had let out a worried gasp and was already on her feet to try and help as the glass shattered. Seeing that all was well she simply grabbed a rag and wiped the table to have something to do with her hands. She watched him with concern and tried to decipher his feelings.
"Is there anything I can do?" She asked, concerned. "Maybe it would help to talk... We could go back to the Godspeed if you wish..." She offered, wanting to make things better.
She brushed her hair back behind her ears nervously and took the glass from him. "I... I'm sorry... I dredged up bad memories..." She whispered sincerely.

Kibo: It's alright. I live those regrets every time I use my sword Mary Catherine, or talk to Storm. It helps me control my other emotions. Sometimes I just slip. I'm alright now, really.
He leans up, kissing her on the cheek, and whispering in her ear.
Kibo: Thank you, though. I appreciate your concern.

Sunny didn't look too convinced. "Are you sure? Emotions are very powerful... And very dangerous..." She said seriously. "I would completely understand" She said, placing her hand on his in a show of support.
Her expression quickly changed to a bright smile as she pecked his cheek. "However... If you think you're fit we could always dance some more and I could get Maurice to pour you several refills" She teased.

[Holy crap. I forgot the rest o' me post. sweatdrop Give me a moment, will ya?]
Storm made a face at Jay and turned back to Aubry. She was smiling in privated amusment.
"Crows, to the bones. Or when they remember that they have feathers, anyway. Zia and Miada are frightfully forgetful. Sometimes they forget that they are crows, sometimes they forget that they are girls, but they will always remember that they are the best of friends. Why?"

Kibo: I'm alright. Those regrets are something I have to live with for the rest of my life, and I accept that.
He smiles reassuringly, putting his other hand over hers, and squeezing her hand between both of his.
Kibo: So, knowing that, I'd love to dance a bit more. Unless you feel like retiring for the night?

Jay rolled her eyes and reread the letter. It said:
Jay,
Navy was too far away to risk being discovered, so I used your pidgeon to deliver the mail. But that's not my reason for writing. You won't beleive what happened. I escaped the prison of Port Royal, but not alone. James Norrington helped me! I'll give you all the details the next time we meet.
Olivia Smith
P.S. Have you seen my brother lately?
"Well, I guess I should write back." Jay said to herself. "Skull?" The pidgeon looked at her. "Can you fetch me some paper and a quill?" Skull flew from his perch out the door.
