Seeing the spikes tossed on the ground, there went all hopes of switching to another Pokemon since his Charmander was taking too long. As much as he would've loved to test out Chiyome, it would have to wait.
The Charmander looked at the spikes curiously. It would take more then that to take him down. He took a breath, let the bloodlust emerge to take over his mind, body and soul as he ran. Weaving in between the spikes, he charged to try and take a powerful Bite out of the Delibird! Just a taste of blood would be all he needed to finish this battle quicker!

(13-9)+(9-8 ) = 5 * 2 = 10 DMG! Deoxys is at 11 HP! Wrap has broken!
The Deoxys howled; Fluke had slashed right through it arms, snapping the connection between the two Pokemon. Its arms reattached in a hiss of static and ichor, but the creature s**t shuddered, roaring in pain. There was no thought in its mind but agony as it turned to focus it gaze on Fluke. It was a not the most traditional Leer, but perhaps the gaze was frightening enough to make it work.

Oh dear. The Delibird stared blankly at the Charmander, obviously baffled. Hadn't Harold enjoyed his present? How odd... gaining a bit of sobriety back, he'd do his best to dodge out of the way.
The move would work as Fluke was released. The Deoxy's arm would seem to come with him as he went to gain some distance. Breathing hard, Fluke had to admit he was quite scared at this point.
This was one of those battles that could easily end his life.
"You have your opening now, use Nightslash as a counter attack."
Hiro would call as the pokemon leers. It's arms were starting to reform, but it wasn't fast enough to attack. He couldn't leave such an opening alone, maybe, just maybe they could end everything in a single strike. The boy couldn't help hoping as he made his call and waited to see his pokemon charge forward using night slash again.
Fluke could only think at that moment that his trainer was insane, but considering his alternative of fighting this pokemon alone. He would take the advice, whether his trainer was crazy or not.
In the Garden of Monsters
(I hope ..I hope this hits, so that this match can be over)
The battle was finally over. With that last bite, the bird Pokemon went down. But from the faint rise and fall of it's chest, it was still very much alive. Gin looked like he would personally try to finish the job... but it wasn't worth it. No, he had a mission to finish. Picking up Takeshi, he would place him on his right shoulder and prepare to move forward.
The Charmander was disappointed. No blood or flesh for this battle either... Letting out a sigh, he would let his gaze scan the area. There would always be other battles.

(17-2)+(9-8 ) = 16 * 2 = 32 DMG! Deoxys is at -21 HP! WELL DONE MURDERBUG
Hiro was almost certainly insane. He was also completely correct on the call; the weakened and dazed Deoxys was no match for the Dwebble's powerful slash. It rent the Legendary in twain, his body dissolving into a glitchy, static mess of white and black that would slowly fade into the ground. In no time at all, it was be as though the Legendary had never existed.
But it left behind more than experience for the young trainer. As the body melted into the earth, Hiro would find it had left something behind. A strange boxy device, cracked but still working. It was a old TM-- ancient, quite literally. It still worked, it seemed, from the faint glowing light, but it would only work once.

The Delibird went down with a loud thump, dislodging some of the snow from the mountainside. This, in turn, would reveal a strange, glittering rock that jutted out of the mountainside. Tall and imposing, to exuded a powerful energy. If one looked closely, they'd be able to see an inscription; that of an Eevee turning into a Glaceon. This was an Icy Rock, a stone capable of helping a Pokemon evolve! Perhaps this was what his Professor meant! All he needed to do now was take a picture! Takeshi gains 110 EXP!
The move would work much better than even he could have predicted as the bug Pokemon would find himself cutting his opponent in two. It was over, and Hiro was more than a bit disappointed. The match ended rather quickly to Fluke's delight, but not to Hiro's satisfaction. He wanted to catch it.
But he would simply shrug.
"No point in crying over spill milk. Great job Fluke."
He would tell the bug Pokemon as Fluke seemed to be enjoying his rise in strength. He was no longer the weakest on his party, which said a lot for the bug Pokemon as Hiro would reach down to pat him on the head. The Dwebble was glowing underneath the praise. They had taken on the best this island had to offer and put it down without too many problems.
Now all that was left was ...well to go home.
He would finally see what his home was suppose to be, and the bug pokemon almost smiled at the thought of it. Though it seemed he was ahead of his trainer.
"You done very well to take down a legendary."
The boy watched as the creature fell a part to release the Tm within.
Not a total waste as he picks it up, and then would turn to leave.
There was nothing else for him here, and after such a great win. It was further proof of how powerful his team actually was. Though now, he would have to use his Pokemon to capture something else.
Hands in his pocket, the boy would turn away from the dead Pokemon/destroyed Pokemon.

Hiro would start back towards home, afterall, he had reached the center of the island. As far as the boy was concerned, there was nothing more. Though a bit of curiousty wanted him to go forward, he knew the best way to go now was back the way he had come.
Hiro wasn't going to lie, he wasn't looking forward to make a move through all of that snow.
With a sigh, he began his trek back as he led Fluke along with him.
The glow of battle was gone as the bug pokemon suddenly realized what he had done as he looks back at what was left of the Deoxy.
He had killed again.
Another pokemon's life was gone, and he was responsible. THough in this case, at least it had been in self-defense.
Fluke would realize he would grow stronger with a trainer, but that it would come at a cost.
Now that the battle was over, Takeshi could feel the power pulsing through him. He was becoming stronger. The Charmander looked pleased. Strength was always good to obtain. He would need it to continue future battles.
Gin watched the bird fall and then saw a large stone. What was that? Was there a plaque? Moving forward, he would step to see what exactly was engraved. As he looked at picture and felt the power pulsing off the stone, he realized this had to be it. The stone that caused evolution in Pokemon that Harlowe-sensei had mentioned. Taking out the Snap Shot Camera, he took a couple steps back to take a picture. Mission complete. He had successfully added a Pokemon to his team and taken the picture. Now all he needed to do was to head back off the island. Turning around, he would begin to head off towards the beginning of the island.

As Gin continued to travel through the snow, he could spot the forest. It would still take awhile but he was getting closer! The sooner he got to the forest, the sooner he could go through it and get to the beginning of the island! The boy would increase his pace while always remaining cautious. Just because he was eager to leave didn't mean he would lower his guard.

Hiro would hear rather than see the next Pokemon. An eerie and almost otherworld voice trilled out through the crater, accompanied by the peals of a bellow. Below Hiro's platform hovered a Chingling, who sang to brighten up the dreariness of the crater. Jut because she lived in a murdering hellhole didn't mean she needed to be sad! However, she wasn't particularly interested in interacting with humans at the moment.

It was a sound that made Fluke jump as Hiro would leap from one rock to the other only to turn around and have the Dwebble collided with his unprotected back.
The pokemon had made a quick jump to safety as Hiro looked over his shoulder at him.
"I promise you , it's not a ghost."
The boy would tell the pokemon as Fluke would look back to see that indeed that was true. The psychic pokemon hover just underneath the rock they had last been on, and he blush with embarrassment as he quickly got off of him.
"Come on, let's head onwards."
Hiro would dust his back off as he got up and they continued. He would never chase after a pokemon that didn't have a fighter's spirit.

Each step they took towards home made the boy feel a bit better. He had had enough of the island himself as he thought back to all their fights, and the one that got away still irks him.
He would cross his hands over his head as they walked.
This really is a strange place, he couldn't help wondering how it was even possible. Then again, Pokemon themselves are something incredible, so why shouldn't the world be any different.
Fluke would move after him.
This place was so much different from his own snowy home. A place where he could touch the earth easily but still, this place was quite barren and strange. Rocks that floated, Pokemon that seemed insane, and then he looked at his own trainer.
He had grown so much stronger in such a sort time, and with this trainer, there was only promises that he would continue to grow stronger. Thus, he followed after him ...his strange and powerful trainer.
