Yamiryu-ou, what does your name mean and how is it pronounced? I assume part of it has to do with dragons, but beyond that I'm clueless.
I've been saying "Yummy Ree-yoo, Oh!" in my head, but I doubt that's close.

Yea I disappeared yesterday... Had to take the car to get inspected, hang out with my sister since she was flying back to LA, get the kids from daycare, take my sister ot he airport, visit some relatives, and then pass out tired when I came home... and sleep off the depression of having to plunk down 1K on my car that is only 2 years old... ARG Why can't gaia gold translate to real money?

Serrated, as Rosealine Starlight said, it is pronunced like that, but more like "Yam-ee-r-y-oo" (with that strange japanese R/L)
What does it means? well, Yami is darkness, Ryu is, like you said, Dragon, and ou is a particle meaning "king", so it is Darkness Dragon King.
I'm a Slayers (the anime) fan (and webmaster). There is 4 dragon-gods there, Water Dragon King (Suiruy-ou), Fire Dragon King, etc. I ussually use the nick "Erebo", that's my nick everywhere, but here at Gaia it is taken in all its form (Erebos, Erebus, Erebo) so I had to change it crying

Huh. I need to pick a different signal for differentiating between narrative and inner thoughts, apparently.
italic is quoting someone else, right?
"quotes" means the character him/herself is speaking, right?
I've always used ~tildes~ for inner monologue/dialogue. Ah well. It all worked out for the best, as I was gonna have Don tell Wolvie almost exactly that, verbatim, eventually.
Anyway, while I'd love to stay and chat, I start my new (first ever!) job tomorrow, and I gotta get up bright and early.

Italics is for inner thoughts and telepathy
Bold is for getting somebody's attention if you respond to them or have an important action
Quoting: You do not need to rewrite every question somebody had asked you in their post in your response post. And if you do, just write it as normal text. Italics are typically reserved for inner dialogue and telepathy. (Hell if I quoted everybody's questions to Penance sometimes my posts would be three times longer than they are now)
Length: A post needs to be five sentences or more. If you are posting only twice a week, I expect a heck of a lot more otherwise: why RP since you aren't contributing?
