Aaron nodded, "Seriously, i'd jump you right now if you'd let me!" Jason couldn't hold back his laughter anymore. he sat up, shaking his head as he chuckled, "got you. thank you for the compliments all the same." he kissed first Tim's then Aaron's cheeks, "you are both very sweet." Aaron sighed, "don't know if it was worth the kiss or not"

Tim removed his hand once he heard the laughter, confused. So it was all a ploy for compliments? Tim should try that out. He reached for his drink and stopped as lips met his cheek. "Th-Thank you." he muttered, touching before trying to subtly wipe his cheek. Not because he was a germophobe, but because he was embarrassed. Tim needed a few more drinks before openly accepting such affections. "W-Well, you've been filled on your quota for compliments, so no more compliments for you. Now we just judge your clothing and your drinks."

"what's wrong with my clothes?" JAson looked down at his shirt and frowned, "i thought i looked nice..." Aaron lifted an eyebrow, "in an orange shirt? sweetie, you really think that was a good idea with your black suit and black hair? it's not Halloween for a couple more months." Jason frowned, "i like my shirt..."

"It looks lovely." Tim said, "especially if you were in the mafia. It really does bring out your eyes since they're contrasting colors but a shade of blue close to your eyes would bring them out even more." He could say Madison would look better without the shirt but again, not enough intoxication to even go that far. It didn't stop him from taking another sip, though.

"another, Tim?" David asked, stopping to collected the dirty dishes, there being a lull in people needing drinks. Jason sighed, "i get your point, no more orange and black." Aaron leaned onto the bar and kissed David's cheek, "hey there, handsome, miss me?" "How can i miss you when you never leave?" David retorted, shaking his head a little. "another for you as well Aaron?" Aaron nodded, "if you would be so kind. Tim's is on me this round as well."

"Another?" Tim asked, quickly looking at his own drink. Holy crap it was gone! The thought of someone else drinking it ran through his mind but that wasn't possible the place was pretty dead. Maybe his sips weren't as small as he thought. "Oh, uhm," he looked at the drink menu, not wanting to go with something too strong. Oh but that Mango lemonade looked nice. He could handle a little bit of vodka and rum. "Mango lemonade please." hearing Aaron though he looked over at him, brain taking an additional second to think before allowing him to speak. "Oh. Thank you. I'll pay for your next round after this one in return." he said with a smile.

David nodded and started on the drink, handing one to both men. "let me know if you want another, ok?" he head over to where someone had come to the bar to make them a drink as well. Jason sighed and took a sip of his soda water, enjoying the fizz of it. "I can't let a beautiful man like you buy me a drink! this one is on me, maybe we can meet up later and you can treat me to one. then i can be sure to see you again."

"If that's what it takes for me to repay you for buying my drink, so be it. Neither a borrower nor a lender be, and if so, pay back all of your debts. Right?" he looked down at James, taking another sip of his drink before copying the man's pose. He gave him a side glance. "James, James tell him I'm right."

Jason looked up a little, "james?" he looked at Aaron and then back to Tim, "me? uh-ok, you're right." he smiled, sure that Tim was a little too tipsy to remember his name. not that it mattered. "you are absolutely right, Tim, don't owe this guy anything if you can help it." Aaron sighed, "you make me sound like such a bad person! you don't owe me a thing, Tim, dear, it is an apology for being blunt earlier."

"Yea, you, Jason." Tim repeated before looking back at Aaron. "You are forgiven for earlier, but I will still need to pay you back. I can't just accept things, even free drinks.

Aaron was trying to hold in the laughter, but seeing Doc answer to 'James' as if it were his real name was kinda funny. he turned his head a little so Tim wouldn't see his full smile, "works for me, that means I get to have drinks with you again. next time let's ditch James so it's just the two of us." Jason rolled his eyes, "not you too, I know for a fact you're not that drunk." he shook his head a little, "Tim? my name-" he blushed a little and looked down, "it's Jason, not James. sorry." he didn't know why he was apologizing, but it felt wrong not to.

"I don't think Aaron's taken a drink of anything." Tim admitted, taking another long drink from his. This mango lemonade tasted really good. Soon he was staring at the bottom of his cup, somewhere someone in his mind yelling that he drank that far to quickly to be healthy. Before he could ask, David seemed to place a glass of water in front of him and Tim took it kindly. "Did I call you James?!" He asked, not sure if the heat in his face was from embarrassment or the drink. "S-Sorry Jason! Oh I need to drink this water faster. I'm so sorry." another long drink of his water. "I should probably head home if I'm confusing your name with mine."

Jason shook his head, "it's ok, really. i've been called worse. better than 'Doc'." "Hey, it's a very suiting and cute nickname!" Aaron retorted, pouting. he turned his head when he heard his name called out and smiled, waving to the group of men coming in. "ah, my people!" he glanced at Tim before pulling out one of his cards and handing it over, "give me a call, hot stuff. if you ever need a shoulder to cry on or someone dead, call, anytime, day or night. i hope to see you soon!" he waved before heading over to the group, laughing as they moved to a booth Jason sighed, "he's like a whirlwind, here one second and gone the next." he shook his head before looking Tim over, "i'll drive you home, ok? don't have to make Daren come all the way back and i didn't really drink enough to be impaired. i can handle two drinks, and i've been drinking water since then so-" he looked down, "or we could call a taxi if you are worried."

"'Doc' reminds me of Bugs Bunny." The water was finished and another glass was in its place. Timothy was not going to risk a hangover. But considering the vodka and rum and how freakishly tall the glass was. He glanced back at Aaron while chugging the water, stopping before taking the card and grinning. "I'll keep that in mind. Later." He waved bye before finishing his water. "Better a whirlwind than a tornado." he rested his dead on the counter, feeling the alcohol work on his mental and chemical functions. Or maybe that was his brain playing tricks on him. With his glasses askew on his face he looked at Madison. You could always trust a doctor. If they said they weren't drunk enough they weren't drunk enough. "I, will take one more drink. Yes. Something fruity." He waited, David delivering something with a little umbrella and that made him smile, taking the straw into his mouth before turning to Madison. "And we haven't really talked. We just, made noises. I saw a documentary two days ago about how men portray signs like apes!" he exclaimed. "Like, walking in with a big, confident stride and arms swinging. That's an alpha male walk! And, and other signs of being an alpha are just exuding confidence, looking confident. This guy who looked like a total nerd walked with confidence and got into people's personal space and they moved!" Another long sucking of the straw. "Does that interest you or does like, less psychology stuff interest you?" TIm should've eaten before he left, the alcohol was filling the empty hole in his stomach but he didn't want to seem like a child. "What are things you like, Madison?"

Jason shook his head, "actually that sort of thing facinates me. the subtle difference in how you hold yourself changes everything in how people treat you. i had a pacient once that had been picked on by her older brothers most of her life and had an infuriority complex from it. but i taught her to keept her back straight and her head up and she stopped getting picked on, her brothers still did, of course, but less and her classmates left her alone." when asked what he liked, he actually had to think, "i like sushi. though i just might be hungry." he smiled a little at that, "What do i like? um, i like work. i like taking walks, especially in the rain, and i like to cook." he looked down at his drink, "i like spending time with others, coming home to someone and knowing that i'm not alone..." he shook his head, "sorry, that was-" he felt a tear slide down his cheek and quickly turned away, "oh, god. i'm sorry. give me a minute, i'll be ok." it hadn't been a year yet, the loss was still fresh and there were times when it just overwhelmed him, like now. "I like not thinking," he added, softly so that tim probably wouldn't hear.
