he sighed "fine. heres the hint: all things king-related, arent. pay attention" and that was the last of the voice. a merchant was yelling "God statures! good luck charms! i got em you want em! Horus, Tutenkhamen, Osirus, Cleopatra, i got em all!"

She frowned. That didn't help at all... She heard a merchant and walked up to him. Some good luck wouldn't be so bad right now.

the merchant showed lena the tray of statues. he DID have a lot of them: some of Horus, some of Osirus, some of Cleopatra, and some of Tut...but King Tut looked a bit odd....he had a...familiar face on it.

Lena looked around and stared at King Tut's statue for a long time. Did he have something to do with that weird hint. She blinked and picked up the statue, studying it.

the merchant took back the statue "out of your price range, kid. no freebies on Tut" he huffed as King Tut's temple loomed behind them

Lena just got angrier when the merchant avoided her question then noticed the temple. She put the statue down and glared at the merchant. "This isn't over." she hissed and walked to the temple.

two burly guards stopped Lena in her tracks. "what business do you have with King Tut, peasant?"

the guards grabbed her neck and lifted her "you have 30 second to get the OK from the king before we throw you out, capish?" they huffed as they took her to the Throne Room/

Lena squeaked and rubbed her neck. Freakin' jerks, she grumbled in her thoughts and followed them.

They brought her to the Throne Room where the king....Nikolai....sat on his throne, dressed like a King. the guards forced Lena to her knees. "King, this young one thinks she has business with you."
"SILENCE!" Nikolai called. "Guards, dismissed. peasant, step forward." he obviously hadnt seen her face yet.
