"Listen, I don't want to make enemies on my first day of camp, but I certainly do not want to be talked to like that," Luke said, "So, I'll make you a deal. I'll make my cestus, probably with some help, of course. You will find your favorite weapon. And in a few hour's time, we can have a nice, honorable fight here in the Arena. Deal? Shake on it." He held out his hand.

She turned to Luke, her eyes flashing to where they looked like small suns, then back to their green. She blushed a bit when Gage stood up for her, and crossed her thin arms at Luke.
"If you and your friend think your so bad, fight me then. Ive taken on puppies scarier then you. As Gage informed you, Im just tell you some tips to keep you alive! I never said anything about the origin being the reason you cant use it. It has to be Celestial Bronze if you want it to be of any use. I dont care if its British, or even a German weapon! It has to be Celestial Bronze," She replied, her voice rising to a shout. She clenched her shaking fists, her ring sliding back into place on her finger. She didnt usually get angry, but this kid was just pishing her buttons now. 'They are rude, blind and deaf appearntly,' she thought in frustation, 'and utterly stupid!' "Haha, no, I wasn't talking to you," Luke said, shaking his head. "I know quite well that someone who's been training for 3 years could kick my butt, even if they are quite inept toward the strength of unarmed combat. I was actually talkign to the kid who thinks he has to defend you."

Gage smirked as the kid challenged him and shook his hand"You honestly think you hold a candel in a snowstorms's chance of defeating me? If you wish so bad to fight then who am I to stop you. Go get your weapons,I will be waiting. If you wish to introduce your friend into the battle Zoe will be joining me,of coarse I could always take both of you out at once" Gage turned his head just in time ot catch Zoe's remark and see her blush'Am i embarassing her?'

"Hehe, nah. If it's alright with you, Jake, I think I'll keep this to solo combat," Luke said, "Jake, I'll be at the Armory if you want to help me out. I'll try to find a Hephaestus kid, too. They know how to make magic weapons, after all, and that could give me an advantage."

"At least he knows not to over-think himself on fighting me...." She muttered under her breath and blushed a bit more when she heard that Luke thought Gage had to defend her.
'Is that the case?' she thought, then shook it from the idea from her head.
"Well, then Ill be the referee. Ill decide who fought the better battle," She said decisively, crossing her arms tight and setting her jaw so they knew it was final.
"Ill also be here to heal you both afterwards. Im not letting either of you walk out of this areana with a scratch, it goes agaisnt my nature," She added, pulling a hairtie from her pocket and tieing her thick bright red hair back, only leaving her bangs out of her grasp. Gage shrugged as he turned his back to the insolent boy. He walked towards Zoe as she put her hair up in a tie'Wow she looks...wow' Gage then relized his mouth had been hanging out in awe the entire time and quickly shut it. He approached Zoe with his compsoure maintained once more fortunatly"Sorry,I didnt mean for it to look like you cant fight your own battles. If you want me to back out I will but that kid...I just couldnt stand him talking to you lik that"

"You didnt make it look like that, or atleast, not to me. I thought it was kidna sweet, actually. I dont want you to back out of the fight, it was your decision to get into it, not mine," She said, shrugging. Then, she put her hands on her hips and studied him. 'He's really cute....' She thought, then blinked a few times and nodded.

"Come on, you cant be this slow," She said, gestured with her head to the exit and turned, running.
"Dont get left behind Gage!" She called to him over her shoulder as she ran to the Armory. As she ran, she pumped her arms header, leaned forward a bit more and hit her feet hrder to the packed earth of the areana. Then, as she ran she made she kcked up the toes of her boots, picking up dust behind her to mess with Gage. "Live as if you'll die tomorrow, becuase its always a possibility." Gage turned to his oponent and opened his eyes,a fiery determination had replaced the calming composure he usually maintained"Try what you must,but no this" He said pointing hte tip of his spear at him"You wrought this upon yourself" Gage then decided to make the first move ,after picking his sehild up, he walked towards Luke at a brisk pace,keeping his weight on the balls of his feet and dancing from one foot to the other to get his momentum up as he approachd his target. He was still about 10 meters away
