[[Haha. I suppose if one liked punkish-looking dudes, then yes, Sparrow would be quite appealing~ X3]]
Haro cast an antsy expression towards the stairs. He couldn't really leave the bird in his room all day, what if they woke up without him there? They would probably be scared and maybe hurt themselves... He'd just have to find something else to feed his 'pet.' The golden-eyed teen turned back to Shin with a nervous grin, "It's...okay, sunflowers are my favorite," a little too big for a sparrow but he'd heard of smaller birds eating even larger seeds, they'd be okay... And he did really like sunflowers, he might just sneak some for his own snack.
Swallowing, the boy continued with a shaky breath, "Uhm, Shin?" Looking up at the tiger with something close to a pout, the small teen stared hard at the older boy, trying to make sure he was really listening to him... it was harder to tell when Shin didn't have his ears out because they always flicked and twitched towards his general direction when he spoke but...they weren't there so it was hard to tell if Shin was listening to him or not. He always had something of a thoughtful look on his face... Pressing small fingers lightly against the one of the cat's hand, the bird smiled, "Shin? Can...Can I really have a pet? I mean-- not for long, but just for a little while so I can make it better and feed it and make sure it can fly and let it go?"
[[I love how Haro tends to skip steps when he's explaining things. sweatdrop ]]

"Hmm? When did you get a bird, Haro?" Shin asked, cocking his head slightly to one side. It hadn't taken for him to put one and one and one together. He wasn't smart for nothing, after all. He really was curious about this -- he didn't remember any... birds comming through the front door with Haro. So perhaps... the window? Of course, that wasn't exactly the best thing... letting a stray bird in through the window -- wasn't that how Benji had gotten in and led Wei to Haro? But, this was Haro... he wasn't likely to connect those two events.
"And yes, Haro, you can have a pet... But if the bird wants to fly away, you have to let it, alright? If it's used to living outside, then it probably won't want to stay inside," he said kindly. "It sounds easy in the beginning, but if you get really attatched it might be difficult for you to let it go later..."

"This morning... I found one," he started off with eyes set down towards his oatmeal, "It hit into my window and wasn't moving so I brought it inside," he murmured, glancing up at Shin in order to see his reaction.
"I know, I-- I'll let it go, I promise, I just wanted to make sure it was okay. I know...what it's like to want to fly away so I promise I'll let it go," he added with a sad sort of smile before turning his gaze towards the stairs, "Do you want me to show you it? I mean, if you really make sure you don't want to eat it, I'll go get it," he said slowly before leaning forward to stare into the tiger's eyes, "Promise?" He asked, still not really trusting that the cat's instincts had truly left him.

"Yes, it would be best to get it soon," he replied quickly. If the bird had been... hurt, well, it was best to help it as soon as possible instead of just... leaving it upstairs. That might not be good. "And don't worry; I have no desire whatsoever to eat any bird, particularly not one that just flew in through the window," he replied with a small smile. He knew Haro was just worried about the bird... but, still, it... hurt him a bit to know that the boy didn't exactly trust that Shin was entirely a vegetarian. Perhaps he didn't understand that even the slightest connection to blood made Shin feel sick to his stomach. But, then, he was a cat... and it wasn't exactly typical for a cat to have no desire to eat a bird. "So yes, I promise," he said with a reasuring smile.

Patting Shin on the nose, Haro grinned, "Good!" He exclaimed before wiggling from his seat in order to dash up the stairs to get his so-called pet. Little did the lovebird know, his pet was not exactly a pet, nor was it exactly a bird... Running up stairs, the boy opened the door to his room, expecting a sparrow to be snoozing on his pillow, but the bird was nowhere to be found.
With a troubled expression, Haro crawled carefully onto his bed, lifting up sheets and moving away pillows in order to find his bird. With each passing moment, the boy became even more frantic... Had he really lost the bird? Just as he was about to call Shin to help sniff out the tiny animal, Haro jumped away from his bed as he noticed a...a something-- a...human-thing curled up on the floor.
Haro had been so preoccupied trying to find the bird-- Wait, why was there a human in his room? His face paling, the teen crawled down to the other's level, patting the...the person, who was clearly male, on the shoulder. "Uhm...hello?" He murmured as he shook the man harder. "Hello?"
"'Lo."
Haro swallowed as dark eyes stared up at him. "You're..."
"Devilishly handsome? Of course... Now would you please tell me why you're on top of me and where I am located exactly? Feel free to stay where you are though, I'm quite comfortable actually," the young man said with a grin, noting the lovebird's attire with an almost panicked expression. "Okay kid, I know people don't think I have the greatest morals, but I swear I never meant to-- I was just flying and...blacked out and I never meant to--" Noticing the teen's very confused look, the man frowned, "...We didn't...you know...do anything, did we?"
Haro blinked, "Did what?"
The young man laughed a bit, "Uh, never mind. So, how exactly did I get here?"
"You hit my window, so I let you in," the boy murmured quietly as he let the dark-haired male sit up, watching with concerned eyes as he rubbed fiercely at his head.
"I...remember flying but not much else... Did I happen to tell you my name before I-- No, I wouldn't have had the time...Hmm. Well, you can call me...Uhh--"
"Sparrow."
"Sparrow?"
"Yes, that's what I named you," Haro said with a smile before standing up, holding out a hand to help the other up. "And don't worry about the whole...bird thing, I'm...a love bird so...just-- you're safe here," he murmured before realizing that if Sparrow couldn't remember his real name that he probably couldn't remember where he even lived... Oh no, and Shin said he needed a 'normal' pet, not one like this...
"Oooh~ Exotic. So, uh, little love bird, do you live here alone?"
Haro shook his head, blushing, "No, I...uhm...My name's Haro and I live with a cat. A...a-- Shin, his name is Shin. I told him I'd go get you..."
Sparrow winced, "You weren't planning on feeding me to your pet kitten were you?"
The boy laughed, shaking his head once more before holding out a hand, "Okay, hopefully he'll let you stay."
Sparrow frowned as small fingers wound themselves around his own calloused fingers-- that's what too much guitar-picking did to you... So this friend cat the kid lived with must not be a pet.
Once the two were downstairs, Haro made the older bird stay put, out of sight, as he ran back into the kitchen, wrapping arms around the tiger's neck. "ShinShinShin~ My bird, he's okay...uhm, but he can't remember where he came from, so is it okay if he stays for a little until he can?" He asked carefully, hoping to distract the tiger with kisses so he'd just say yes and Sparrow would be able to stay until his head got fixed.

((Haro's too cute. D: <333 ))
Shin glanced up as he smelled Haro -- and another, a bird, of course -- descend the stairs. He smiled and laughed slightly as Haro came to him in a highly excited fasion. It was quite fortunate he had a good nose and had smelt Haro before he entered the room because it had given the dark-haired teen time to set down the pot he had been washing, as well as the sponge, rinse his hands off and then dry them all before the small teen had come prancing into his arms.
"Yes, of course, I already said he could, didn't I? Did you give him the seeds, or should we get something else for him?" Shin asked, raising a hand to stroke gently through the other's hair for a moment. Haro looked... really, incredibly happy. It was a sweet sight -- and SHin would hate for Haro to be unhappy or bored. It seemed that a pet was just what the boy had needed, after all.

[[Hehe. x3]]
It appeared as if his plan to 'distract tiger with love,' worked, or so Haro mused with a lightly smug expression...or maybe Shin was still unaware that the boy's pet was clearly not a pet. Smiling as the cat sifted fingers through his hair, the love bird leaned slightly into the tiger's hand before looking up with a truly questioning expression. "Shin... Shin, I just--" Swallowing, Haro frowned as he mulled over just what he was trying to say, biting his lower lip as he thought over his words carefully. He hoped that Sparrow would be able to stay until he was better, but he was so cool and handsome that Shin might like him better... Haro just...looked like a girl and Shin liked girls too so that's why he liked Haro... But Sparrow, or whatever his real name was, seemed so awesomely-sugar-coated super that...Haro definitely had something to worry about, or at least so he thought.
"I know I'm not very special or anything but...if you met someone cooler than me, would you still like me?" He asked softly, fingers nervously brushing along the hem of Shin's sweater.

And it was right around then that Shin began to suspect that something not quite the same as what Haro was saying was happening. "Haro, you're very special," he replied with a smile. "I'm not sure why you would think you're not, but to me you are very special and I would never stop liking you just because somebody else is cooler," he said gently. He wouldn't ask directly just what Haro was hiding this time -- sicne that hardly ever worked and tended to make the poor bird frantic. But he would find out eventually, he knew, as he always did. Haro wasn't particularly good at keeping things hidden, while Shin was rather good at descovering just what was up.
He wrapped his arms losely around the small boy's frame and pressed a gentle kiss to the crown of his head. "Haro, I'll always like you. I don't think there's any way that I could ever stop."

Blushing softly, the boy turned up his head to give the tiger a genuine smile. Oh, Shin, he made Haro feel so nice and warm on the inside that sometimes it all just spilled over and he found himself blushing and shaky, but that was okay...He could deal with feeling like that everytime Shin said such things to him, or if he held him for a while or something like that. "Well, I just wanted to make sure because..." His voice trailed off as Haro looked back at the stairs, golden eyes widening considerably.
"I told you to stay hidden!" He near yelled at the bird, who was leaning against the adjacent wall, picking at his thumb idly. Lowering his voice because he didn't want to hurt Shin's already sensitive ears, the boy twirled around in the cat's arms. "Now I won't be able to keep you," he murmured, hanging his head, "And I just wanted to feed you and make your head better," he pouted as he waited for Shin to reprimand him for letting strangers into the house.
[[Not exactly the best reference, but here's another pic of Sparrow. He looks..sort of young here, I'd say he's probably somewhere between 19-20, but he looks younger than that here, I think. :9]]

Shin glanced back as Haro yelled, wincing slightly at such a loud noise at such... close range. His eyes fixed onto the other, rather bored-looking, teen's and he gave the other a small smile. "So, this is the bird?" he asked, looking, for all the world, quite calm. Of course, he knew it was the bird -- he could smell that it was so. He layed a hand on the boy's shoulder and glanced over at him for a moment, his blue eyes bright against dark hair. "Haro, if he lets you, you can keep him. But since he's like us, don't you suppose keeping him as a pet would be rather... strange?" he asked with a small shrug.
Shin never mentioned it, and it didn't show on his features, but... he had a bit of a weakness for those in need of help. Haro had been running in the street, an escapee with no next to no knowledge of the world, and he hadn't been able to help himself. And apparently now this new bird had an injury. Shin just... couldn't turn away someone who needed help, if they wished to accept it. Still, though, he would have to be careful around this stranger -- one could never be to cautious when inflicted with Hemophelia. Besides which, as Haro was concerned with Shin falling for someone 'cooler' than him... Shin felt a little uneasy with the stranger after the many encounters with those who would prefure to steal Haro away....
"So, what's your name?" Shin asked with his usual, calm smile, the question directed towards the lounging teen.

[[That Gaia-short was so lame. >:C I wasted seven minutes of my life waiting for it.]]
Brushing dark brown hair from equally as dark eyes, the sparrow smiled a bit. He had been a little nervous with how much of a fuss the kid had been making, but this Shin guy seemed to be the caring type. Rubbing at his head, frowning at the large lump on the side of his head, the older teen eyed the tiger with a certain sort of suspicion before answering, "I'm...not sure, actually," he said with a sigh as he straightened up from his lounged position, walking carefully over towards the...cat, the very large and seemingly protective cat.
Dressed in his usual garb of jeans and a black sweater, the teen thought to himself that he was lucky it was winter or else he would not have been wearing long sleeves and...well, with all his tattoos, they never seemed to give a trustworthy impression, nor did the snake-bite piercings...but then again, he didn't think he had to deal with getting to know people so often...but the bird dubbed 'Sparrow,' could never be too sure of anything since his head was still swimming.
"But I named him Sparrow so--" "--Feel free to call me that until I can remember my real name... Creative little thing, isn't he?" He teased as he placed a hand on top of the younger bird's head with a grin. Completely unaware that Sparrow had just made a joke about the nickname, Haro murmured, "Well, I never thought I was good at thinking up stuff but...but if you think I am...then maybe it's true," he said with a tiny smile, golden eyes flickering between dark brown and the tile of the floor.
"I just want to thank you for...letting me stay until I can remember where I'm supposed to be, I hope it's not too much trouble," the dark-eyed teen said while trying to ignore the little bird who was making the weirdest sort of faces at him...
"You can sleep in my room if you want, and--" Haro blushed a bright pinky-red as he thought to himself....He knew Shin had another bed in his room but it would just make him so nervous being in the same room with him that he probably wouldn't even be able to sleep, "I can just sleep in a different form," he finished with a smile.

"Well, I suppose you shall be Sparrow, then, until you remember your name," he said, sending the teen a slightly reproachful glance as Sparrow made a joke that wasn't exactly kind -- one that Haro, thankfully, did not understand was merely a joke. "Yes, Haro, you have a very good imagination," he said with a smile, his eyes soft as they focused on the teen. It would be obivous to Sparrow that Shin was rather the 'doting mother' type of person when it came to those he cared about -- or at least when it came to Haro, as the small teen acted so... childish.
Shin nodded as Sparrow spoke, his light eyes fixing once again on the dark brown ones. "It's no trouble at all," he replied with a reassuring smile, though, inwardly, he was hoping it would be no trouble. He was hoping Sparrow wouldn't... break something or be a humoungous eater or some such thing that could cost... quite a bit. After all, though his family was nowhere near poor and was, actually, rather wealthy... his mother's hospital bills coupled with his own weren't exactly helping their financial situation.
He glanced between the two and said, "I have a spare bed in my room, if you'd prefure to take that." This statement was directed towards Sparrow, as he already knew Haro would prefure not to stay there. "I won't be offended if you say no, by the way, as I quite understand that my scent might be... unsettling," he added with a small smile.
"Anyway, since you're going to be staying here, you'll need to know some of the basics.... I suppose the most important thing is not to leave anything... ahh, sharp out," he said rather uncomfortably, his light eyes dropping to the floor for a moment before they met Sparrow's again. He rubbed one arm slightly with a pale hand out of slight nervousness. "If glass breaks, or something to that affect, please let me know before you do anything because... well, we have to deal with it properly," he said finally with a small shrug. Shin didn't really like... mentioning his condition. He hated the pity he recieved for it.
"Other than that... there's nothing much. Try to keep things in order... let's see, and you don't need to worry about other people comming in to see you if you... have your wings out or something. It's basically only my cousin who ever visits, and he's... one of us," the pale teen explained with a small shrug. As for any questions as to why a seventeen-year-old could own such a nice, large house, Shin did not offer any answers. Those were... family matters.

[[I did always wonder how Shin lived in a house by himself... X3]]
With a stunned expression, the bird suddenly reached into his pockets, searching desperately for a wallet, or some other sort of identification. With a heavy sigh, the older teen shrugged before saying, "Well, I guess you're stuck with me for a while, and...I'll make sure to follow all your house rules, kitten-boy, it's the least i can do for you helping me out, eh?"
Haro pouted at the nickname given to Shin. Sparrow wasn't allowed to call Shin that... "Shin is a tiger, not a kitten," he muttered, feeling the need to defend the other...which he really didn't need because the other bird was merely joking around but Haro didn't seem to realize.
Sparrow laughed, "Eh, sorry about that, do you want a nickname, too? I mean, you gave me one might as well give you one. How about, 'the exotic-one?' Sounds down-right dashing, you could even pick up a few girls with a name like that I'm sure."
Haro scowled, "I don't like that name. I don't need a nickname, my name is short enough, and neither does Shin so don't call him a kitten or anything because his name is Shin." He shouldn't have wished for a pet, he shouldn't have! He had a pet now and all he was doing was trying to steal Shin away, and it made Haro feel so sad and scared and even more sad all at the same time. Upon hearing Shin's offer, Haro wretched himself out of the tiger's arms, folding his own in front of him. He couldn't believe Shin was going to have Sparrow sleep in his room. He didn't even ask Haro even if the little bird probably would've worn himself out from being so overly excited at the very idea.

Though Shin wasn't particularly fond of the idea of being called 'kitten,' he wasn't so openly opposed to it as Haro was. "It's alright, Haro... I'm sure he's not intending to call me 'Kitten Boy,'" he said. At least I'm hoping he's not, he thought, though his did not add that. He glanced from Sparrow and then to Haro, not quite of what to make of the boy's latest mood swing. Only seconds before he had been estatically happy, and now he was... rather vexed.
"--Or... I suppose you two can work it out, since Sparrow is your... pet," Shin said to Haro, his tone rather unsure. "Whatever you decide, just know there's an open bed in my room if either of you feel comfortable staying there. Other than that, there's couch, although it does get quite cold downstairs at night time...." he murmured with a small shrug. "And I think we might have some sort of... sleeping bag or something. I'm not really sure -- it's been a while since I've had to use either...."

"First of all, I'm not anyone's pet. Second, I was just kidding, I won't call you anything you don't like," the dark bird said with a small grin as he brushed brown hair out of his eyes. "And third... I don't really care where I sleep, I'm just glad I happened to smack into someone's window who didn't just leave me to my own demise," he murmured with a laugh as he eyed the love bird. "I think the couch will be perfectly fine."
Haro couldn't quite hold back his smile as he nodded fervently, "That's okay with me." Although he had lost out on a pet, at least Sparrow wasn't going to be sleeping in the same room as Shin.
"So, now that we have that cleared up, what do you guys do around here for fun?"
"We kiss and stuff."
Sparrow blinked, "Right. I'll leave you to that, then," he murmured before quirking a brow at Haro. What a weird kid.
Haro frowned, looking at Shin with a pathetic expression as if to ask, 'did I say something wrong?' He thought kissing was fun...
