Kir already knew Nikoli wasn't going to attack, since he was labeling him as not hostile already. He accepted the man's hand in a handshake, ruffling his feathers slightly to indicate there was nothing hidden inside them. When his hand was freed again, he turned the book around and started flipping to a page where he wrote his name. When he turned it around the name, "Kir Seguro," was written.

"...?" Kir was a little confused. Sure of what? Kir asked Kieran what he thought and he drew up a blank as well.

Kir thought about that, "Kieran?"
"I guess so. I studied biology and history, not languages," Kieran's thought response. None of this could be heard by any of the people there.
"..." Kir nodded, but not to Nikoli. He thought now about his family. Both of his parents used to work in the Academy before their eventual demises. They both were against using Kir and his sister Amaranth as subjects for their experiments. No matter what, they never yielded to them. While they were never secure, they certainly knew what was right and wrong; meaning they were sure of themselves and of the situation. Amaranth is strong willed like that as well. Kir...Well...
He nodded, but already the uncertainty was in his eyes. He wasn't like his family in more ways than one it seemed.

Kir had to agree. It wasn't too important to Nikoli as it was to Kir. It deeply troubled him.
Then he looked at him with a slightly surprised expression. Assassin? Kir? He could hear Kieran laughing in his head and it wasn't helping much. He rubbed his left eye, where his crystallis lay hidden, and shook his head. He might have killed many, but he was no assassin. His activated self on the other hand...

"A lot of us are nervous when we speak about the Academy. Most of us are either directly or indirectly involved with them," Kir wrote and turned the book around. The Academy is a scary place. He should know. He was hooked up to their equipment enough.

Kir looked over to Lily. She seemed okay with this guy so he completely labeled him as safe. He just had to make sure his daughter did the same, so he reached back and petted her comfortingly. Strange how the Academy gave him a daughter and they were only maybe five years apart. Well, Lydia looked a lot younger but he knew her real age was a bit more.
Kir didn't know what kind of plan could be made, since he knew nothing about everyone's skills. Kir knew that when he's activated he could turn the Academy into Swiss cheese. Lydia has similar effects. But they needed an army. He had a sinking feeling since the last time he was there that something bigger than him was going on in there. Maybe it's not even there anymore. Which meant they had to make sure. Which meant espionage...
Kir knelt down to the floor and gently hugged Lydia, "Why don't you go over with Mana and give him his gift?" He thought to her. He used a strong telepathy, so everyone heard him. However it causes stress on his left eye so blood started forming in the corner of his eye like a tear.

(It is when your class is broken up into two groups for labs and one group falls behind because of stupid annoying holidays. Then the teachers decide to confuse everyone by taking out labs everywhere in the schedule for that week)

This was not a good conversation to have around Lydia. Kir just nodded in a docile manner and smiled weakly to Lydia. Heck, he wouldn't want to be a part of the conversation either if he wasn't directly involved. He wanted the Academy gone. That's why he was wondering if they could do some kind of undercover mission to make sure that their leader is where he should be, and if he's not then find out exactly where he is. He wiped the blood from his eye.
