"Hey, I'm not the one who said I was old...I'm half-Na'tormi, remember??" he thought, replying to Ventrus.

Amnity smiled, despite what he said and shrugged. "I don't want to start hoping for that....But yeah, I'll keep that in mind...To keep myself from getting depressed." She let out a chuckle. Suddenly, Vosa came trotting back over to her. The soldier knelt down and petted her dog. "How did you get away from the store clerk?" Vosa was carrying something in his mouth. Some piece of fabric or something.

"THAT DOG BIT ME IN THE BUTT!!!" The store manager's yells could be heard all around the store.

The soldier blinked a few times in shock..."Yeah...Maybe now would be a good time to leave how about you Vosa?....Before we get arrested..."

(Yeahhh...Sorry about that, Lubinski... sweatdrop )

"Ahhh, shaddap..." Zahzi retorted in his thoughts.

Zahzi looked down at the dog with a sigh.
"Do you want any of these books, Amnity..? Or do you want to leave before the police come for an animal charge..?"

Amnity looked around the book shelves for a second. When the store clerk came walking around the store and checking the aisles for the dog and its owner, the soldier quickly took off her black jacket and covered it over Vosa, then buried her face in a book so he wouldn't recognize her. When she was sure that the man was gone, she took out a book titled 'Cooking for dummies'. "This one."

He took the book, and nodded.
"Alright...You two wait outside, and I'll buy it...But get out of here WITHOUT attracting attention..." he said, looking at the clerk from a hole in the shelf.

He walked out of the isle with the book, and waved down the clerk to get his attention.

Amnity, just to piss off Zahzi, began doing moves people only see in spy movies. She ducked under the counter, then did a dive roll over a stack of books and took cover behind a trash can. Vosa even got into the mood of the whole 'sneaking out' thing. The dog rolled on the floor, then hid behind a cardboard cut out of the target dog. The crazy soldier even began to hum background 'mission impossible' movie before making a mad dash out the door, her dog following after her.

The clerk sighed after being unable to find the dog and its owner. He motioned Zahzi to follow him and he went behind the counter, trying to cover the embarrassing tear on the rear of his pants. "The book is 15.99$...Oh, by the way, have you seen a woman with a dog anywhere in the store?"

Zahzi's eye was twitching rapidly at the little scene. He then slowly looked at the clerk. He pulled out a 20, and set it on the counter.
"Keep the change..." he said through his teeth.
"And no...I haven't seen a girl with a dog..." he added, taking the book, and walking towards the door.

He decided to have a little revenge. He super-charged the book with static electricity...The next person to touch it would be quite unfomfortable...

Amnity poked her head out from behind a dumpster, so did Vosa. "Oh, you got the book?" She smiled, then walked over to where he was. "Thanks again." She reached out to hold the book, she then yelped as she got electrocuted and dropped the book. Her mechanical parts seemed to go haywire for a second, but that wasn't the worst part. She felt the electricity around her face and hair discharge, and almost immediately her disguise disappeared. The soldier opened her eyes and blinked a few times. She looked down at her arms and saw the tattoos, her hair was silver again. "Uhh...Zahzi..." Vosa let out a bark, wondering how his master could possibly look more scary.

"Hmm...Didn't see that coming..." he said with an eyebrow raised.

He looked around, and saw that no one was around. Even the news reporters finally gave up...

"I think we're in the clear now..." he said, picking the book up.

He held his other hand over the book, and absorbed whatever electricity was left in the book.
"Apparently static electricity disrupts my disguises..."

There was a park left, that the man had taken a liking to. It held it's own little forest that most people didn't see with the chaos that found a home in Sarit. He himself had only found it by mistake, dodging and weaving his way from some local thugs a few years back. He climbed down from the tree he had turned into his more or less base of operations. Sunlight invaded on his eyesight, and he morphed the pupil of his eyes faster so the bright daze would not last for long. He closed up the hatch to his wooden fort, and made his way out of the hidden park. He found one of the trees he had discovered that touched the rooftops of the city, and changed his skin to the color of a disturbing bright blue, and made his way for his morning walk, walking above citizens, and looking for someone who looked easy enough to rob. He unsheathed his blade so it was ready for a quick assault, and spoke. "So who would you advise today, Kareen?"

Amnity scratched her head, avoiding eye contact with people that pass by in the street. Her Doberman lead the way, sniffing the floor as he lead his master down the street. She made her way around the curb, suddenly feeling uncomfortable outside where people can recognize her now. "Maybe we should go Zahzi..."

He looked as the people watched them.
He let out a sigh, and nodded.
"Alright. But we'll have to lose the witnesses..." he said, looking back at her.

"And how do you suppose we do that? You're not planning on killing them are you?"
