Angelina watched the green lady leave, staring at her tail as she left. She focused on eating the rest of her food with a small smile on her face as she listened to Ambrose try to defend his masculinity.

Ray flipped a page in her sketchbook to a blank page, then began a fresh process of observing and sketching.

((Ahh! WA, That rocks! ^____^ ))
Ambrose watched Amaya leave, raising the age level of the room. "I... well.... I don't think it's a very different matter at all." He smirked. "You know... they say if you can fight, then you can dance..." He opened and closed his mouth, putting a hand to his lips. "Er... well.... ahh.." He looked over to Angelina again, looking very awkward. "You know what I mean."
He slid aside his now empty plate.
He glanced over again to Rayanya's table curiously, hearing her pencil skritching away. He opened and closed his mouth a few times again.

Jamal smirked heavily at that little blurb, amused at how awkward Ambrose was about this subject. He himself could care less about being PG. "Oh don't worry...I can definately fight...and you kin ask Awen 'bout da dancin'."
He took another big bite out of his burger, his expression nice and nonchalant as he chewed.

Angelina chewed on her steak, raising an eyebrow. She wondered who his Awen person was, and she looked back over to Ambrose and gave him a smile. "Ambrose is the best 'dancer' I've ever been with."

((No prob. Just doodling to keep my mind off of stuff. And now for the first black man I have drawn in quite a few years... sorry... )) Rayanya continued to doodle idly, her gaze once again intent on the form coming from her pencil and marring the perfectly white paper.

Ambrose's eyes widened at Jamal's counter. He had no idea he and Awen had gotten that close! His face reddend in embarrassment even more as Angelina stepped up to defend him.
... only to be replaced with a proud smile, his tail lifting confidently. "Grace and precision." He restated, sliding the empty plate to the side.
He glanced self-consciously back to the artist at the adjacent table.
((Ooo! Nice job with that one too~! biggrin . *hugs WA* What is it about the holidays that bring a double dose of the good with the bad :/ ))

Hehehe....victory! He had caught Ambrose offguard and that's what he'd been trying to do the whole time. He finished the last bite of his sandwich off with a flourish and also shoved his plate away, now reaching for an unopened can of pop, which he cracked open with a satisfying click. Jamal decided to leave the topic lie, unless they preferred to bring it up again.

Anglina finished most of her steak and finised off her drink, still amused by the banter between the two men. She watched Raynanya draw for a bit, the gently squeezed Ambrose's knee when she was finished.

As Rayanya looked up from her sketchbook to snatch another quick glance at her subject, she noticed that Ambrose was looking at her and locked eyes with him for a moment. What could he be looking at her for? Rayanya, as usual, was completely oblivious.((This didn't come out so good. x.x ))

Ambrose sighed, smiling ruefully. "Well, anyway." He glanced to Angelina, who was signalling that she was ready to go. "It was nice seeing you, Jamal." He rose, picking up his tray. "I will be seeing you around."
He set aside the tray, and walked over by Rayanya on his way to the door. "You know... you don't have to be a stranger around here..." He said with a small wag. "There aren't that many of us around here, though most of us are pretty friendly if you give us the chance."
"You ready, Angelina?" He smiled.

Angelina leaned over the table and offered her hand to Jamal. "Nice meeting you," she said with a smile and headed back over to Ambrose.

Rayanya looked up from her sketchbook and gave Ambrose a temporarily bewildered look, at least until his words fully sank in. "Oh... yeah. Sorry. Old habit, and you know how those are." She gave him a small smile. "I'll sit with you guys next time; I'm sure there will be plenty of them."
Ray's gaze switched over to Angelina, and she gave another small, disturbing grin. Though she knew that the woman was leaving, she figured she might as well offer at least somewhat of a greeting. "Ah, you must be new as well. I'm Rayanya, I'm sure I'll see you around."

Jamal nodded to Ambrose and shook hands with Angelina, who he gave his most suave smile, then watched them both amble out of the cafeteria...leaving him with the strange woman whom he was sure wasn't so pleased to be left in his company. Well, that's wasn't going to fly.
The black man also stood and started to gather up his dinner articles, not giving Rayanya even a glance now.
