Yuki stood in awkward silence a moment, jaw set. Good questions... Valid points he had no comeback for.
"But... If we go back, wouldn't that be just as dangerous?" Hitsu suggested, unsure.
"So you say you're here to warn us..." Yuki growled, "And now you're telling us it's hopeless?" He glared at the fox, "What else? Is there some sort of magical quest we have to do in order to make everything happy and joyful again?"

"Not quite." He replied, apparently uneffected by Yuki's attempt to mock him. He paused a moment, thinking out his words. Not-so-minor details that he held would surely silence him, but surely he'd be accused as a liar once more.
Though, at this point it seemed that this conversation was getting them nowhere...
"I see that you will be a lost cause, my friend." He said, "Your ignorance of my advice brings something into a clearer view..."

Figuring that this was nothing more than an insult, Yuki snorted. "Oh yeah? Let's hear it. Maybe it'll make sense."

Yuki was ignored for a moment while Kitwana looked to Hitsu, "Do you remember when I read your palm, Miss Hitsuzen? Back in the shop?" He waited barely long enough for acknowledgment before he continued. "You asked if fate could be changed."
His attention moved back to Yuki again, and a smile tugged at his maw. "You." He stated simply, lifting a clawed digit to point at the feline. "You doubt those that wish to help you, and you trust those that may hide their true intentions... My dream shared more than what I've spoken..."
"At the hand of one of your own comrades, you will fall."
[Ignore how lame that all was... Please. XD I hit a wall and had to make this segment end. I'll need to plan better next time.]

Considering how strongly Mitsu reacted, Blade was more with Atticus in terms of believing the fox. Maybe some things were skewed; he couldn't be certain for sure. But surely that had to be some stock in his words. For a moment, he glanced at the siblings, then at Kitwana before looking towards Yuki and Hitsu once more.
The thief also wasn't entirely certain that they would be able to keep everyone safe. Neko had already been hit. And Poke was snatched away by some stranger. He had a slight feeling they were tied into this one way or another too. Either way, it seemed that Yuki's wariness of things in general was fairly reasonable.
"We'll do what we can, I can say that much..."
He amused himself a bit there. Blade had known these people for a couple weeks only. They knew nothing of him and he didn't know much about them either. There was a bit of a thought that they could probably forget about him within a week or so if he left. Yet here he was saying he'd be willing to help them out however he could. He wasn't entirely sure why. But he felt like it.
Shaking his head to himself, he turned his attention towards Yuki and Kit as they exchanged a few words. The former seemed rather stubborn on insisting everything the fox said was a lie.
And what ended up coming out of the fox's mouth caught him off guard. Raising an eyebrow, he frowned a bit. He looked back and forth between the two for a moment, not quite sure what to say.
"He's going to be killed by one of us?" was all that he could really get out.

The little bickering match Yuki and the fox got into was so trivial, Atticus thought about going outside so he could actually smoke...
But the last thing out of Kit's mouth caught his attention. What a bold statement. But... Honestly... It didn't really surprise him.
That was when he heard a CAW from just outside. With a shrug, he left everyone to their tragic prediction and went to see what the news was.
In a nearby branch, a raven sat quietly on a tree branch, watching as Atticus moved closer. Clutched in one of his feet, was a rolled up piece of parchment. Atticus held up his hand, where the parchment was promptly placed, and took out his glasses with the other hand.
"What could he possibly want now?" Atticus grumbled and rolled the paper out to read the note.

"No...no..no," Mitsu shook her head looking up at Hitsu with wide frightened eyes. "Suto is real....he is real....he is dangerous." Nervously Mitsu tugged on the tag still attached to her ear. It was hard to see through her hair but it was still there none the less, a reminder of where she had come from.
Then the fox gave his next glimpse into the furture and it was as bright and cheerful as the last. "Yuki?" Mitsu looked at Yuki no less frightened than before

[Daww... Cute little Tobi. <3]
Hitsu wanted to ask who Suto was as well, to try and figure out why he was so frightening. She did not, though, and only looked between Mitsu and her brother worriedly. What was she supposed to say? Was the fox really just pulling them along?
Kitwana questioned her, and she nodded. His statement that followed certainly made her hope that he spoke nothing but lies. "What?" Her voice almost cracked. This was... A horrible joke, right?
Yuki's eyes had grown wide at such a prediction, and for a split second it was hard to tell if he was shocked by the suggestion or further annoyed. It took no more than his ears catching his sister's response, to catch that hint of upset that the fox had caused, for Yuki to grit his teeth in a growl and lunge for the fuzzball. "That's enough!"
Though... Just as Yuki could grasp the cloth of the foxen's yukata in his fist, he had lifted it with ease. Too much ease for a garment that held a fully grown anthro. Confusion apparent on his face, Yuki dropped the clothing and it crumpled to the floor.
The gypsy was gone.
Yuki thought he saw something rustle in the fallen leaves upon the floor, but dismissed it. He stood dumbfounded on the spot for a moment, looking around him wildly while knowing full well that he would have seen the furre slip away. "What the hell is going on!?"

Understandably, Yuki was angry with what the Fox had said. He hadn't quite expected him to lunge for Kit though. And when the gypsy simply disappeared before the guy could get to him, Blade had to give him some props. Quirking a brow, he had a feeling there was more truth to what the fox spoke of than what Yuki believed. Hopefully that last prediction was not amongst what was true though.
Standing up straight after glancing down at Mitsu again, he turned towards Yuki.
"He did a vanishing act. But you know, it wouldn't hurt to be more careful in general. You were already pretty wary about everything before... and just as you were starting to let your guard down, hell broke loose it seemed."
The thief was just recalling how the group spoke of safety and heading back home just before Neko had gotten himself poisoned. And the night before Poke had been kidnapped.
"Just try not to think about that last thing he said."

As Neko approached the house again something caught his attention. He could hear Yuki fussing about something, but shortly after it seemed that a small creature went darting out and disappeared. Must have been some mice Yuki had stirred up from their sleep. "What's going on?" He looked passed Blade to see that the Fox was no longer there. "Where did he go?"
He looked confused as he looked around and even more so when he realized that Hitsu and Mitsu looked upset. "What else did he say? Is everything alright?"
Mitsu sniffled a few times looking up at Neko and only shook her head and leaned closer to Hitsu. What was she going to do now? Was there any chance she would ever be free?

Yuki threw the empty garment to the floor in frustration with Blade's short explanation... And the reminder that followed. "Tell me something I don't know." He spat, staring at the crumpled material on the floor. How could someone just vanish into thin air like that? The creature that he'd thought was full of nothing but nonsense had done something he doubted he'd ever be able to understand... What could that mean for his words?
Blade told him not to think about it, and Yuki snorted. "Yeah. Five minutes from now I'll forget all about some magical gypsy telling me that one of my friends is going to murder me. No big deal." His sarcasm was thick, it was obvious that the absence of Kitwana didn't make him feel better. At least, not with the prediction he'd ended their confusing exchange with.
Nor did it help when he turned to look upon his sister on the verge of tears, and it looked as though Mitsu wasn't any better off. His mood completely flipped, and he took on a more worried expression. "Aw, come on." He said softly to the both of them, "Don't pay any attention to that weirdo... How could someone know what's going to happen before it happens?"
He looked up to the door when Neko entered again, apparently Riyo had managed to bring him back. He wasn't as upset anymore, Yuki could hope. He looked around the room again, as though he'd find the fox upon Neko's questioning. Belatedly, he noted the absence of Atticus. He must have left while Yuki's back was turned. "Hell if I know." Yuki replied, "He spewed a bunch of bullshit and vanished." He gestured to the yukata on the floor; "Literally." He stopped there, and looked to Hitsu and Mitsu again quietly. Hitsu didn't seem to be anxious to elaborate the rest, and neither was he. "Don't worry about it, you didn't miss anything important..."

As Neko reappeared, Blade glanced over at him for a moment before turning his attention back towards Yuki.
"Hey, you said it yourself," he said in regards to what the guy said to the girls, considering what Yuki just uttered out about not thinking about what just happened.
Then, looking back towards the others, he shook his head lightly. He decided not to say anything on the subject of Yuki's apparent future murder. But he did try explain what just happened a little more.
"The fox basically gave us a bunch of warnings of what's to come. It shook Mitsu pretty badly..."
The reason why, he was certain was right on Kit's part. Mitsu never mentioned any sort of horrific guy with glasses before, at least not while Blade was around. There's no way the gypsy could have known about him if he was just throwing crap at them. He supposed there was the possibility that Kit worked for the mystery man, but then why would he go through the trouble of giving everyone these messages?
"Yuki's a bit shaken too.. as you can see," he said more quietly while stepping out of the run down cottage.

As they got closer, Riyo snapped out of her trance as she heard Yuki making a ruckus. Was it the fox guy?
And the first thing she noticed was that the fox had disappeared. Good... But what had he done? Everyone was either angry or distressed in some form. Her ears fell back at the condition of her party. "Bad day..."
That's when Atticus reappeared. And, while he showed no emotion on his face, there was an angry air about him. In his hand, he held a crumpled piece of parchment... Which he tried to tuck away in his pocket.

"I see," was Neko's simple response as he stepped away from the cottage as well. He wasn't sure what had transpired between the fox and his fellow companions but it was obvious it wasn't cheerful. Mitsu was distressed, Hitsu was upset, Yuki was angry, and Blade just....looked to be taking it all in well.....strange guy.
"Maybe we should....uh. You know, get going." He didn't want to stay in this place any longer than he had to even if night was falling.
"But its late..." He heard a faint voice say though he couldn't place it amongst his friends. "You will be safe here. You were always safe here." His eyes looked hurt again, the voice he hadn't heard for years still trying to comfort him. Swallowing hard against the lump in his throat Neko backed up a bit further from the door.
"I'll just...wait by the road." He turned to leave but hesitated as he back faced the door. What was he waiting for?
"No, no," Mitsu had continued to mumble shaking her head as she hid her face in Hitsu's shoulder. It wasn't until Neko suggested that they leave that she finally shot up, her eyes wide and fearful. "We aren't safe, we need to hide. He'll find us." She looked at Hitsu hoping she would understand. Reaching out Mitsu took hold of her shoulders lightly. "W..w...we aren't safe. H-h-he'll find us." Mitsu looked panicked unsure what she expected her friend to tell her. That it would be all right? That they would stick together and they would be fine? It was all sugar coated lies, Mitsu knew better even if she wanted to believe differently.
"Mitsu stop," Neko said as he looked over his shoulder. "Everything that fox said was a lie. He was just trying to get a reaction." Trying to convince himself? More than likely.
