Chromefox Streamjumper Chromefox I'm pretty bad with making my own threads. I can never come up with anything really good, or even original. So I usually just correct grammar, tell off the morons, and re-direct the newblits. I've made two threads ever, and both were direct discussion threads. I usually create threads asking for thought-out opinions, but those always die fast. I'd like to be the type of person who can post a page of complete irrefutable fact, but I'm so very bad at that. The fact that there's a fair number of people who disagree with my views on forum organization means that a fair number show up to argue with me, and the discussion actually becomes enjoyable.

Streamjumper yaten takako_tenshi Streamjumper Out of about 22 members we've got JP the crusader, WJ the pacifier, me and Grendel the shock troopers, Pi the trickster, Chibimajo occasionally wanders into the AMC to debate, and the rest either don't bother with the AMC or wander in occasionally. I used to be really active in the AMC and the subforums when I first joined Gaia, but I kind of gave up on it after a while. sweatdrop As did I. I go in there daily... but I feel like every post I make in there is to tell someone they're posting in the wrong area, or correcting people on comments they've made that are incorrect. :\ Most of my posts are just that, or opposing the momentum of an initial post of gargantuan stupidity and all the little moronlings supporting it. My favorite thing is the support post. When someone else makes it there before me to break the momentum, so I set up a cover fire consisting of snappy jabs and clever observations. yeah... Going against what other people are saying is good stuff.

I've rarely found any enjoyable discussion on Gaia. Closest thing to a good debate was the one with AkaRai that ended with Chi's thread locked, and that only pissed me off. If people disagree with one of my views, it's always at a tme where I'm too exhausted/apathetic to bother responding. They have such bad timing.

I have almost nobody left to hit on these days.

Some of the better ones I've had were actually in VS topics. A decent VS will occasionally attract an intelligent poster on the far side of things, but usually the intelligent posters cluster on the same side. A few others came about in threads speculating on developing trends in japanese animation... (side note: I'm really liking the emergence of suspenseful and realistic shows like Kaze no Yojimbo and Monster)

Mostly why it was banned in Final Fantasy. Too many topics were popping up like "Sephiroth VS The Letter J" ('Cept that one was a parody of the VS thread by a friend of mine). It was all rather stupid. I fear entering VS threads in AMC. I keep expecting one liners and "IUYYASHA H4nDZ DOOOWN!!!1".

Streamjumper Chromefox Streamjumper A lot of WANDN doesn't do much. Its more that several of us are shock troops. Yep. That sounds like FATE. xd I can only think of... six or seven out of fourty-two members who regularily plug the efforts in Final Fantasy. I can't say for the rest of the forums though. Heh... We've got only slightly beter proportions. Out of about 22 members we've got JP the crusader, WJ the pacifier, me and Grendel the shock troopers, Pi the trickster, Chibimajo occasionally wanders into the AMC to debate, and the rest either don't bother with the AMC or wander in occasionally. Meh. I go in every once in a while. I used to be in there a lot, but the massive amounts of stupid have prompted me to take a break from there. That was months ago. I really ought to venture in again. I'm running out of stupid n00b stories to post on my livejournal.

Streamjumper takako_tenshi Chromefox If you're a fan, I suggest the Final Fantasy forum. xd ;-; That place scares me though... last time I went in there I was bombarded by a page of incoherent people screaming bloody murder about which one was better, why [insert character name here] needs to sleep with [insert other character name here], etc. Hopefully you guys have made it a better place since then. 3nodding The only FF character that needs to sleep with anyone is Tifa... with me. Or maybe Lulu... and Tifa... with me. But I'm dissapointed with Tifa's new outfit for the movie. If most of the others keep their old outfits, so should she. Hey, I -like- the less slutty redesign, thank you very much xd

Streamjumper Chromefox Streamjumper Heh, looks almost like a sister guild to WANDN. Except that you're a VG guild and we're an AMC guild... That was my exact thought when I first heard about WANDN. xd By the sounds of it though, FATE is a bit more laid-back. I can't say that for sure though. A lot of WANDN doesn't do much. Its more that several of us are shock troops. How is everybody around there? I've lost the link to it ages ago (not that I kept up with you guys much since I left sweatdrop ) Streamjumper Not so much a dead weight issue, its that we've existed since November of last year and in the first few months dealt with some ferocious hell threads. This was also before we beat intelligence into some of those continuing the fight in there these days, so it was mostly a solo effort. After all that you're bound to see some people burnt out. *raises hand*
