WARNING: Rant AHEAD.....but before i get started those pics are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!


Alright here goes.....I'm in a seriously bad mood right now...the MP3 player I got for xmas has been lost and/or stolen scream It was in the pocket of my jacket last night when I went to the public release of a report my honours class did for the Green Party. After it was over we all went to the QP (a pub on my campus) and lo and behold I discovered that it wasn't in my pocket any longer (and the building was already locked when I went to see if I could get back in)...now, I had it when I got to the event, so it disappeared either sometime during the event (in other words someone when through my coat and stole it, but not my wallet evil ) or it slipped out of the pocket when I put it into the pile of coats my class had in the backroom and nobody noticed it when we were leaving...here's where it gets frustrating, if that's what happened then either security found it and hasn't turned it into the lost and found yet or the people cleaning the building last night found it and haven't turned it in yet. In either case, if it doesn't turn up somebody at this bloody place has my MP3 player and I want it back!!!! At this point I've done everything I can to get it back; I've filled out a form at the lost and found, I called the head of custodial services, I went to the room bookings office and asked them if it had turned up, I went to the room this morning at 8 since there was another conference in there at 8:30 to see if anyone setting up had come across it, I went to the office in that building to see if it had been turned in there by any chance and now, now there's nothing I can do but wait and see what happens, which I hate doing confused And if it doesn't turn up I have to buy myself another one so that my parents don't kill me for losing it so bloody quickly and none of the online stores I looked at last night when I could not sleep at all seemed to have the same brand, much less same model except for EBay and I'm always a little sketch about buying stuff on there but beggars can't be choosers...so yeah I'm REALLLY hoping it turns up ASAP!!! oh and if anyone happens to know where I can buy a Rio Carbon Pearl 5MB player could you let me know, thanks xp

I was not aware of that...clearly I need to poke around the subforums more sweatdrop next time i have to rant i'll do that....but with any luck i won't have to for a looooong time....they can be obnoxious little pieces of machinery can't they *shakes head at all not working and missing mp3 players*

I definitely know that feeling...well both - having really bad speakers (but mine are on my comp) and doing anything for my music....which is why i spent amost 2hrs running around to different places to try to find mine
