Shadow stands up feeling ashamed. "Also, Cy, stop treating me like I am your daughter, my father died along time ago." She then goes outside and sits on the porch as she looked down.

"Of course I won't te..." he says and then he turns completley silent and his face goes blank. He looks down and a single tear streams down his cheek and lands on his leg.

Shadow stands up and walks back to the door, when she was about to open it she stopped as she began to think again

Cyrus looks incredibly hurt. He suddenly has a flash back. An awful one to have at the moment.
"Sooo... you're like my daddy?'
Daddy!
He shook his head and Caelynn yawned. The blood had made her tired. He walked upstairs and put her in her crib and silently shut the door and went downstairs and grabbed a beer out of the fridge. HE almost shut the door, but then looked back at it and grabbed the whole case of beers. He went and sat at the table and opened the first one out if the pack of 6. He started drinking it as he mulled thoughts through his mind.

Shadow then walked back inside and stares at Cyrus no emotion on her face. "Sorry." She says quietly.

Cyrus stares off into space and takes another swig from the bottle then it gets set on the table and the fizz of another being opened is heard, followed by gulping.

Shadow stares at him, she then runs over and takes the bottles. She thorws them to the floor making them break. She then slaps his cheek hard and frowns as tears stream down her face. "I am sorry..I just..I..have been stressed out lately but that isn't a reason to have said what I did. But, I am different. I am not the small Illuna anymore. You don't need to protect me, and for now on, I want you and Xh-.." She pauses. "Mom..to call me Shadow."

Cyrus looks at her dumbfounded. His hand moves up to his cheek and rests on it where it begins to turn red. He looks at her with the same, confused, look on his face. Suddenly out of nowhere he stands up and hugs her. "Illu... Shadow..." he says as he begins to cry. "I just don't want what happened to me, happen to you..." he says softly.

She stays silent as she looked down. She wanted to be with Adolphus but with Itachi as well, she felt as if she was going to pass out from the stress but did her best to stay calm.
