Mmph.. unfortunately, there were about fifteen out of sixty-four matches left to finish in Barton last I checked, not including a few that were locked but unfinished due to "debates". A quick check reveals that, sadly, the number's not dwindled down too much. crying

Seriously - Clash should've appointed someone as a "2nd in Command" in terms of Tournament Affairs, in case of an unexplained or explained absense, just to keep things moving.
..Like now. 
On that note, I can't waaaait until Round 2. A mere 32 matches.. then 16.. then 8, 4, 2, Finals of Barton.. [Sniffles.] The very concept of a relivent, progressing round brings tears to my eyes. crying

Know what'd be really cool? If all the people who won in all of the brackets were sent off to fight in a "gaia's best" tournament to see who's the best fighter in all of gaia. 3nodding

We're kinda having that here. =P
A certain amount of contestants from each branch [2 from Barton, 2 from Commerce, etc..] totalling eight fighters, will be in the tournament-wide finals, for theee gold & champion title, if I'm not mistaken.Clash The prelimary tournament brackets will run down to the final two participants in each of the branches aside from the O/M and FFA branches, in which case one fighter from each of those two branches will be drafted to the final eight. These final eight will advance to the Gaian Tenkaichi Budoukai quarterfinals, ever closer to winning the grand prize and the title of greatest fighter in existence. Individuals in the final eight will battle off to decide their placement and prize money. After the first six places have been decided, the two fighters in the finals will square off to decide the grand champion. * The eighth and seventh place participants will each win 4K. * Sixth place wins 8K. * Fifth is 16K. * Fourth is 32K. * Third is 64K. * Second is 128K. * First is 256K.
