"I'm sorry..." he says as he looks up at her and a single tear forms in his eye and falls to the floor. "I just don't want you to get hurt like I did..." he said and looked back at the ground.

"I can take care of myself!" She yells. She then stands up. "I need to find Adolphus!" She then runs out of the forest and leaves.

Cyrus sighs and two more tears fall out of his eyes and one hits Caelynn.
The drop hit Caelynn's forehead and she stopped crying and looked up at Cyrus with big eyes.
Cyrus looked down at Caelynn and smiled. He stood up carefully and rocked his baby daughter as he walked towards the warehouse, crying.
He got inside and went up to his and Xhel's room. He lay Caelynn down in her crib that had arrived earlier that day. HE watched her go to sleep slowly and then went and crawled into his own bed and fell asleep with his daughter.

Shadow walks back to the warehouse. She walks inside and sits in a chair her hands in her lap as she thought. She looked down showing no emotion on her face.

Caelynn started bawling. She had had a bad dream and needed comforting...
Cyrus awoke with a start as he heard his youngest daughter crying. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and walked over to the crib and picked her out and held her lovingly. "It's okay..." he whispered as she bawled into his shoulder. He opened the door and walked downstairs, rubbing her back and whispering to her as she cryed into his shoulder.

mortis had fallen asleep against the couch earlier and awoke to the sound of footsteps. he looked up to see shado walk in and sit down. he stood slowly and looked at shadow. "hey shadow...how have you been?" he asked curiously.

Shadow glances over and sees Cyrus she then looks the other way pretending to not notice him. She kept thinking, and was worried about what had happened to Adolphus. She sighed lightly as she sat there. She looks up and sees Mortis. "Alright. I was wondering, is Adolphus a vampire?"

mortis wanted to hiss when he heard adolphus' name but refrained himself.
"yes, he's a vampire....the one vampire i hated when i was one myself" he replied, the last part was extremely low. "why do you ask shadow?" he asked.

"I am just curious is all. I wasn't for sure." She lies knowing not to tell him the real reason, it could make Mortis angry and she didn't want that happening.

"you're not telling me the whole story....are you shadow?" he asked in concern. "you can tell me...i promise i won't tell anyone else just please....let me know what's going on"

"Of course I'm not here..." Cyrus says as he comforts the crying child. He looks in her mouth and sees that she has two small fangs and realizes that she must be half vampire. He goes into the kitchen and pulls a blood pack out and shoves it in the microwave, all while comforting his daughter. When its heated up he takes the pack out and drains it into a cup with a lid and nozzle. He pours a little on his wrist to make sure that it's not to hot. WHen he agrees with the temperature he hands the cup to Caelynn and she takes it gratefully and starts sucking on it as she stops crying. Cyrus sighed and went and sat down, holding her in his arms while she drank.

"I was just curious cause he tried to bite me." She says to him as she bites her lower lip not for sure if he would get angry and try and hurt Adolphus or start yelling at her for hanging around Adolphus.

Shadow shakes her head. "No." She smiles. "Don't worry, he ran off for some odd reason. I will talk to him later."

"shadow...now that he's tried something dangerous...i want you to take great caution around him ok??......he's not the safest person and if he tried to bite you.....i just don't want you getting hurt ok?" he said firmly but caringly.
