My envy...for you...is so great...but I can't... can't deny that it sooo cool that you went!!! OMG how was it!? Did you pics of all the cool cosplay people? And if you don't want all the free stuff you can send it to me.
Anyway, 14 miles? Whoa, I would have died somewhere after 3 or maybe just before...
How was it? I'll have to quote Aglo on this one, "MAD I TELL YOU". No joke. It was sooo crowded and the lines+wait to get into certain panels were epic. But so worth it!!!
I saw lots of famous people, some up close. Here's a list of what I can remember:
Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber, Stan Lee, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jonah Hill, Michelle Rodriguez,Patton Oswalt, Jeff Bridges, Bruce Boxlietner, LeVar Burton, Marina Sirtis, Bret Spiner, Michael Dorn, Tom Felton, John Oliver from the Daily Show, R.A. Salvatore, Todd Lockwood, Danny DeVito, The whole cast from
30 Days of Night, Lots of Comic Book Artists, DJ Helsing and Lanzer from Gaia Online Corporate Offices.... lots of people in crazy cosplay costumes ( I'll post some good ones soon )
I have sooo much free stuff now ( mostly flyers/post card type stuff though ). They give you this HUGE bag that you can literally climb into it's so big when you pick up you badge and lanyard. At the end we guessed that my bag wieghs about 30 lbs.
I did buy some awesome t-shirts and of course some books. Can't wait 'till next year!
