A bell rang throughout the HQ anouncing the arrival of someone at the door. Ruby hopped off Arch's bed with a cheer. "Someone's here." She smacked the angel's butt on her way out, completely forgetting that Bobby and she were playing hide and seek. She ran down the several flights of stairs and made it to the door, she pushed Seth out of the way and yelled "Hello!"

"Hello?" Artemis called back, looking up into the peephole with a smile. "May I come in?" She could sense someone's death approaching, the girl who called out to her, although the sense of death quickly faded into nothing.

She pulled Artemis into the entryway. "What're you here for? Who're you here for? Do you know how long it's been since we had a visitor?"

Artemis was surprised as Ruby pulled her in. "Um. I'm here to join the Heroes! And...I don't know...somebody who needs help? And no, how long has it been?"

Ruby nodded, taking it all in. "That's good, we need folks to help us. Mmhm,that's what we generaly like to do too. And it's been about 2 days, TWO DAYS!" She smiled, "I'm Ruby by the way, the cranky one in the corner is Seth--he's a demon and will eat you if he's hungry, but it's nothing personal, and he's pretty good at taking out the trash on tuesdays."

"Umm. Is that a bad thing? The visitors?" She looked around, taking in the scenery. "I like it here! It's quite nice. Oh yes. I'm Artemis by the way." She held he hand out to Ruby with a smile.

"Artemis?" Ruby frowned....."you poor thing what were your parents thinki.....I mean lovely name, very unique. And yes, no visitors in two days is a very bad thing. It gets kinda stuffy in here with all the boys."
She glanced at Seth, "Oh, I know, sug, you're sweet as pie, wouldn't hurt a fly....unless you were hungry. Need a hug?"

Artemis glared a tiny bit, but then smiled again. "Your name was Ruby right? You shouldn't be talking about names..." She looked around again. "You're the only girl here?"

Bobby, still standing in the hall outside of Arch's room, was caught by surprise when Ruby went blasting by him. A moment later, he heard her feet on the stairs, and followed. As he approached the front hall, he could hear her talking to someone, so he hung back around the corner for the moment.
