A future tale of Nanashi, also known as Nana.

It’d been an hour since three of Johji's underlings had dragged the teenaged girl into their hideout, and he was counting the minutes until the cart came by and he was rid of her. She’d come with very little resistance, giving her name when asked; the lads had promised rough handling if she’d tried to fight them, and fingered their clubs suggestively. One waved a knife. Johji was glad the girl - Nanashi - hadn’t started anything. After all, he disliked having to explain bruises on the merchandise to the customers.

They’d dumped her in a corner and told her to stay there. Thankfully she'd made very little fuss about that. She was an attractive slip of a thing, even in the straggly cotton kimono she was wearing, and she’d bring a pretty penny once they smuggled her past the borders later tonight. There were buyers who were looking for something just like her. Something peppy and spirited. However, there was one problem.

She kept talking about elephants. In particular, *white* elephants. She jabbered on and on, over and over as the minutes ticked by. By the fortieth repetition of elephant facts, Johji'd had enough.

He stalked over to where she sat, apparently engrossed in playing with a bit of tied string she’d found on the floor. "What are you blathering about, girl?" he snarled, yanking her to her feet and shaking her roughly. The scrap of red yarn floated to the floor, knotted and forgotten. “Either you shut your trap, or I’ll shut it for you!”

Nanashi blithely ignored his threat. "Onii-san told me about them, once," she went on. "He told me how there once were kings willing to pay a fortune to get their hands on white elephants, only to discover the real cost once they had them in their care. Ya know, food, upkeep…security. Kings found themselves impoverished after getting their hands on a white elephant. The one thing they wanted." Her gaze drifted to the door, then back to him.

The boys were right; this girl was mad. They should have knocked her out from the beginning. "So what the – " Johji started to say.

“I’m playing the role of your white elephant, tonight,” the girl went on, her voice irrepressibly cheery. " You decided to have me by any means possible, like all those girls you made vanish before. But now, the bill is due, and it’s time to pay up. I think, starting…" She trailed off, cocking her head as if to listen...then smiled. It was not a nice smile. "Ah, here come your creditors, Johji-san!"

There was a noise at the door, distracting him; Nanashi yanked free of his grip, her kimono sleeve tearing as she dropped to the floor. Good thing she did; an arrow smashed through the open window, imbedding in Johji's arm and missing her by inches. His bellow of pain made her ears ring as she scrambled to withdraw the smoke bomb she’d been hiding inside her belt. She tossed it towards the middle of the room just as the door was hit by a mighty blow from outside. Visibility dropped to zero a breath later - and then the door gave way.

The young ninja ran her fingers through her hair to remove the tracking tag the jounin squad had placed on her for this mission; they certainly didn't need that anymore.

As the gangleader’s sight blurred and the room went to *censored* in a handbasket, he heard Nana's laughter and cheerful, mocking words somewhere within the smoke and haze.

"Maybe next time you'll realize your mistake. But then again, there might not be a next time for you - the Land of Rain doesn't take well to slavers."

Johji didn't get a chance to reply as a noose settled around his neck, and pulled *tight*, cutting off all his air and turning his vision black.

Character Name: Karake Takasora

RP Sample: Karake presented his blue ticket to the ferryman clad in the blue-gray uniform associated with the Water Country Ferry Service and boarded the small boat of similar color. The little island on the southeastern edge of water country, known as Natsu Island, was experiencing a heavy rainstorm. Despite the island's name, meaning "Summer", rain was pretty much a daily occurrence. One day out of the week might be lightly cloudy with no rain, and sunny days might occur only every month or two. Karake wore a gray hooded traveling cloak over a brown flak jacket, orange short-sleeve shirt, brown shorts, orange ninja sandals, and orange fingerless gloves. He had just turned eight and his parents were sending him to Kirigakure to begin his training as a ninja. His normally dry messy light brown hair was soaked and flat. He stared across his island home with his sparkling green eyes, knowing that it would be quite some time before he ever saw it again. The engine started and the ferry began to move slowly away from the docks. He leaned over the railing and waved a final goodbye to his parents on the shore. Then he turned away, dried his eyes, and looked ahead. "Only a short way north. There new adventures and endless possibilities await. I hope you are ready, Village Hidden in the Mist.

(I'm new in this guild and I guess here is where I have to put my
Role Play example to see if I can go to the step of making my
character, correct me if I'm wrong and I will go to the right place)

RP example:

when sasuke hit naruto's face he felt very confident in winning this battle but what he didn't know was, that it was the only one that had succeeded in unleashing the fury of naruto "I will kill you" naruto said, which was now triggering all the power of the 9-tails fox.(sorry for shortness)

(I will like to start as jounnin but I don't know if that's against the rules)

(Nevermind the other post, sorry wrong concept)

RP character Name: Lee-Long

The young Lee Long didn't know what to do, his knowledge of martial arts seem to be useless in front of the abilities of this strange adversary, "I've never seen someone so.....strong" said the young boy, with an expression of concern in his face.The person his fighting seems to be a class called hidden ninja that lives in villages in the east of Asia. The boy who lived his entire life in the capital of China (Hong Kong) doesn't think have a chance against a ninja "if he is a ninja I lost! my knowledge of martial arts would never be able to beat a ninja!"

The young Lee Long have been always a highlight to be a good opponent, but this seems out of reach, the boy can not almost see the movement of hes opponent.He attempt with all his might but couldn't reach the level of Hes opponent, "I'm lost!"were Lee Long words.And just when he thought he was going to die, the ninja stopped his attack and started to talk saying "not bad .... for someone who only knows martial arts, you are very strong and you have a great potential" Lee Long quickly made him a few questions "Who are you? what you want with me?" and the ninja quickly replied "I am a ninja from the village of konohagakure and I want you to come with me, so that you can receive a training that make you a real fighter" you'll become a ninja !

(Its kind of my RPlayer prologue xD)

ACADEMY GRADUATION EXAM
NIN: EDGE && SHADOW

SAMPLE:

//// Two ninja flew lithely through the wooded area, leaping from tree branch to tree branch with extraordinary agility. They were on a joint mission to the Hidden Village in the Leaves. A message of some importance needed delivering, so the Kage sent both of his most trusted jounin. One, garbed in immaculate white with a long and flowing scarf, came to an abrupt halt a about 50 feet ahead of the other, a ninja in typical black garb.
////"Hmph..." the darker nin grunted, stopping along with his comrade. "... You see something?" he growled impatiently.
////"Oh?" the white nin remarked patronizingly. "So the great Shadow can't pay proper attention to his surroundings, eh?". To this the darker nin, Shadow, snarled.
////"You're lucky I need you, Edge." Shadow replied coldly, scanning the lower regions of the wood to discover what he'd missed. Sure enough, his pale white eyes found the corpse of a deceased Otagakure nin not 200 feet away.
////"The Hidden Sound." Edge spoke to himself, apparently mulling over the reason why a Otogakure nin would be here in the Land of Fire. "Shadow, go check it out. I'll cover you." Edge said at last, pointing towards the carcass of the nin.
////"Don't act so big, kid. You should remember your place." Shadow reprimanded hotly before cautiously leaping down through the trees.
////"Yeah, yeah." Edge shrugged, "You're such a drag, man." Shadow, of course, ignored the light-hearted white-nin's badgering. Back on the ground Shadow knelt beside the corpse of the ninja. The dead man was young, probably a chuunin, and his face had turned a purplish hue. Asphyxiation, Shadow reckoned. Probably due to some sort of poison gas, as there weren't any signs of battle trauma. "Suffocated." Shadow shouted back up to his partner. "Some sort of poison I think--"
////"Shadow, behind you!" Edge warned from his perch in the tree. The dark nin had realized it just as Edge shouted it out. Quickly, he rolled to the side and performed three back-handsprings in succession. There, before him, was an unmarked ninja dressed completely in a dark red stealth suit. Edge dropped down from his hiding place, landing behind the vermillion attacker so that the ninja was directly between Shadow and himself. As soon as the opposing ninja made a move, the white and black nin reacted.
////"Suiton: Mizurappa no Jutsu!"
////"Katon: Gōkakyu no Jutsu!"

Though I do suppose it is kinda lame for you to have to read big long posts just to see if we make the cut, huh?

Alright, my character's name is Kimiko Michiyo, my favorite of all the characters I've ever used in my roleplays with Naruto. Her first name means child without equal, her last name means three-thousand generations. There is a very thick history to her clan, and I can post that information in necessary. I am aiming to enter the Land of Fire, so I'm writing here as if she's already living there. (I usually write first person, so third person is a little wierd to me, but not unpracticed.)

RP Example:
Kimiko takes a lingering glance at the picture of her family on the dresser before pulling her tank-top-style hoodie on and hurrying out the door. She tromps down the stairs of the apartment complex and steps out into the fresh morning air, taking a look around at the dawn sky. There aren't many people out at this time of the morning, so the streets are clear. She takes a step to the left and starts a slow jog. Morning excercizes were routine; she needed to be strong and in-shape if she was ever going to finish the demons who destroyed her family. As she ran, taking in the the light twitter of waking birds, her mind began to wander. Her thoughts drifted to a memory of brother, from years before. Her twin had been her best friend until he disappeared. Kimiko shakes her head, dispelling the saddening thought. Fear brought about vulnerability, and that was one thing she didn't need.
