Taryn snatched the book out of their hands, nodding her thanks. She started to flip through it, looking for a spell that would erase the spectre. "Oh..." she sighed, and then found what she was looking for. "Um..." The spell was in Lycan. "Oh, damn him... he put the spell in a language that only he could understand... I'll talk to him about that..." The young vampiress ran her fingers through her short hair, vexed.

Duellist didn't even notice his target had changed, too caught up in casting a spell that (hopefully) would not only obliterate the spectre, but also the building directly behind him too.

=+(MusicBox)+= ][No biggie. Sorry for being spacey. xd ][ Duh! At about that moment, it hit Midori! With Bertram's help, she remember that she could in fact re-seal the evil spirit away! Especially due to the fact that she was wounded, thanks to Hakan. Giving Bertram a 'what're you waiting for' look, Midori sprung to her feel and began to run to the window.
There was no time to open it, so instead Midori removed the coat Bertram let her borrow, wrap it around her hand, and break the window open. Making sure the glass was cleared away, she would hop up and crawl through the window, beginning to run back to the scene.This was bad, due to the fact that Hakan was suspended it mid air, there was nothing to do. Giving a yell as soon as the spirit's hand made contact with is ankle, from that point he would fall limp. the expression on his face held one of utter horror. Or was it anger? How could he let himself get caught like that?!Bertram followed, trying to keep himself from blushing as he followed Midori down the street. 'Stupid me... why am I in love with her...' he asked, giving up on running and instead floating, while still in human form. "Um... Midori, what's the plan?" He asked, softly.

((It just occured to me that the knife is still in Sirus's back...Hmmmm...))
*Sirus let out a soft groan accompanied by a shallow intake of breath. He could feel pain throughout his entire body. Even things such as breathing was a painful experience. That b*****d Reiki must've pierced a lung.*
*Summoning what strength he had left, the demon hunter tried to push himself off the ground, but only managed to slip in his own blood. And that caused a lot more pain than he was already experiencing. Wincing, Sirus had to content himself with lying on the cold concrete ground. He sure wished he knew what was going on...*

Great, great, what could she do?! Turning her gaze up to Taryn in a 'forgive me for what I'm about to do', the leopardess (with her forepaws covered in blood), charged and leapt. Her target? To knock Duellist out of his concentration-- it was obvious to her that the vampire was too busy chanting to realize Hakan was being used as a shield.- "Dammit, Elly, at least do something, LOOK!" The boy's finger was pointed at the suspended Demon in line for a certain doom. Eleanore sighed, pulling off the twist cap off the gallon she held so dear and dumped the liquid on the floor.
Without giving it a second thought, she ran off to the side, pointing the bottle's mouth in the specter's direction and commenced to chant. After a moment, she paused and stuck out her hand. "Teddy!!"A moment later her brother was with her and with the two chanting perhaps the spell would do enough to distract the damned thing if not seal it in the bottle. In fact, it was their *goal* to distract it, for they knew they were too weak to actually seal him.

Duellist Bertram followed, trying to keep himself from blushing as he followed Midori down the street. 'Stupid me... why am I in love with her...' he asked, giving up on running and instead floating, while still in human form. "Um... Midori, what's the plan?" He asked, softly.
No, she didn't need Bertrams help. She shook her head at the wraith as if saying 'Never mind' before she quickly ran towards the twins. With any luck, the combined power of the trio would be enough to put the spirit away for good!
She was there in a matter of seconds, he strong legs carrying her, making her run quickly, and as soon as she reached the children ghosts, she would join in on their chanting, with her hands on their heads.

It's supremely ironic when that laboratory, and most of the surrounding city, is vapourised.

Duellist pulled himself up, growling. "Bad kitty!" He said, about to thump Mimi into the ground, when he saw what he had been about to do. "Oh... good kitty! Very good kitty!"
Taryn sighed, and put down the book. She ran over to Duellist and slapped the back of his head. "Don't you ever run off like that again!" She put her arms around him tightly. "God... I was so worried..."
Duellist patted her on the back, but gasped at the incoming spectre. "Um...dear? I'm a bit busy right now... could you have Mimi read the binding spell in my..." he blinked when he saw the spellbook lying on the ground.

*The specter could only watch as the vampire finished his spell. He was too injured to move out of the way and evade the magical attack. Hopefully his "shield" would prove useful.*
*Speaking of which, the specter took a brief moment to look down at his victim. He could already see frost begin to spread over the man's skin from where he held him. A sure sign that, he would be going nowhere or doing nothing anytime soon.*

((gaia ate my post.. >.<)) -Mimi simply gave Duellist a cold glare. In fact, she had a few choice words that couldn't be used at the time. At least, her task had been completed and in a sense Hakan was safe. With that in mind, that excessively long tail of hers swished about in pleasure. 'Twas one small victory to balance the loss of a friend. Little did she know Sirus was halfway dead.- Elly and Teddy both shut their eyes upon feeling the slap of Midori's hand upon their heads. It would be necessary for them to have their *full* concentration and all of their energy channeled into the task. And if they had a slim chance at success, it was almost ensured they'd manage the task once Bertram joined the trio. ((sorry so short but demmit, I'm annoyed.))
