Depends on the kind of kimono. Simple cotton yukata aren't expensive, but layered silk, hand-dyed kimono are. But formal clothing from any culture is more expensive. :3

Kimono's are pretty, I used to have a ton of them in the sims 2.

It's really better. The kids grow up, the adults get old, they can die of natural causes. There is a ton more new stuff too.
And it simulates genetics.

I don't think I would like it then. Honestally if I have a character I like I don't want them to grow old and die... That would suck.
How does it simulate genetics though?

There's a cheat that can halt aging, but it effects the entire household.
