*Fire hears no one respond and lies her foreheard on the door.*
What now Aykon? What now?
*Fire heard the tavern door open seconds later and she heard Joey's voice. She turned towards where he was and started to walk forward. Fire was calm and spoke lightly to him as she approached*
Yeah, I'm here.
*She walks past him and heads to the bar to take a seat.*
I'm glad to see you made it inside. It's really cold out there tonight.
*Fire didn't even notice her blanket was wrapped around him as she continued to talk*
You ok? You know, after that loud thundering crack?

Grem gets slowly out of bed She sits on its edge and pulls on her jeans in the dark. her eyes dart from window to door and back again.
oO(someone should be up.. if not everyone..who could sleep through that?)
She gets down on her knees infront of her trunk and searches hastily for a jumper. By the time she is at her half open door listening she is composed once more. Obviously the tavern was not about to fall down about her ears. She runs a hand through her hair with a grimace.
oO(Ok well if it isn't the end of the world I guess I have time to get myself pretty)

Gremlina sat infront of the desk that served as a dressing table.The curtains were open but she still turned on the lamp. The room's hairbrush was infront of her ..she picked up her own.
With slow deep strokes of the black bristles she pulled and smoothed and fashioned her hair into its usual deeply rolling curls.The lamp light picked out golden highlights amungst the warm reds. Her jade green eyes looked back at her from the mirror. Her expression was distant until she blinked and smiled.. The image smiled.
oO(still pretty Gremlina...just a little more mature)
She lifted her free hand and brushed the backs of her fingers over her cheek. Her skin was soft and smooth. It was warmer than her fingers. She could almost imagine it was a hand other than her own.
oO(The world could be falling apart down there and you're worried about the passing of two years..there's no difference that anyone could see. the changes are on the inside)
Grem pushed back the stool and stood. She gave her head a little shake that settled her hair about her shoulders in a natural looking neat kind of chaos. With out any further looks she left the room and headed down the stairs

*Joey listened to Fire's words and smiled, she was showing some compassion. But he thought about their talk on the cliffs and felt himself coming down off of that hope. He felt that Fire's heart was elsewhere and he knew there wasn't much he could do about it.*
Yeah..I am fine, just trying to figure out what that shadwo flying off in the sky was...I didn't here a thunderclap though...

No...not a flying figure...a flying shadow...the thing was almost as big as this place...made a heck of a racket when it started moving too...
*He seems to be pondering what you are talking about for some time before speaking.*
By the way...what do you mean "it must have been him?" who are you talking...WHAT are you talking about?

((let's just say Rhodes has been gone for several hours..like from 3 til 5 or 6))
*Rhodes returns pulling some confetti strings out of her hair. As much as she didn't feel like attending that party she owed it to the host. The tavern seemed quiet maybe people were still sleeping, she caught a glimpse of Fire and the gentlemen and realized she was wrong. "Oh well". On her way to the stairs she detours by Aykon's room, should she apologize? When Rhodes looked up the room was dark and the name was different, he left? All of a sudden she felt angry again, angry at Aykon for running away and not talking to her. She merely left the room in hopes to calm down and talk in the morning but he just up and ditch. Was she wrong to depend on him? She stamped her foot and fled up the stairs and into her room to change.
After a few minutes she came back down the stairs with a stack of parchment and a pen and took a seat on the couch.*

Sen stands, using his arms to push off the floor in one fluid motion. He bends his neck to the right and then to the left, a soft cracking sound is heard. He takes in a long breath, closing his eyes. A short time there after he exhales, his eyes now wide open, the reflection of the fire shimmering in them. He turns to look towards the rest of the tavern. He admires the layout of the seating and bar areas, recognizing this place as his home. He nods to himself as he walks towards the nearest window, peering out, gazing down towards the harbor.

Aykon. It must have been him that made all that racket. Usually is anyway...
*Fire paused a moment as the vampire's stench creeped in to the tavern. She obseves the vampire and closely watches her as she makes her way to Aykon's room. As she vanishes, she turns her gaze back to Joey and continues to speak*
Something must have happened to him or whatever! I just...
*Before she could finish what she was saying, Rhodes storms out of Aykon's office and upstairs. Fire stood there for a moment puzzled and waited to see what happened next. Just a few moments later, the vampire appears holding something and sits on the couch*
Umm...I umm, what was I saying Joey?
*Fire seemed a bit flustered. She took a seat on the barstool she was next to and removed whatever was covering up her face,hair, and clothes. Normally she would have her hair pinned up neatly, but her hair was down with a few curls in them. Her bangs still covered her face and she took in a deep breath*

*He listens to all of the discussion from Fire, watches Rhodes and feels her intense emotions, he feels the calm of Sen and the disturbance of Fire, so many emotions all at once, something must have happened.*
Aykon did something...how odd...I am not really sure how someone like him could make so much noise but perhaps I am not familiar enough with him to follow.
*He takes another look around and then back to Fire.*
But I can certainly feel that something is amiss in this place...there are lots of emotions running high. I hope all is ok.
*He watches Fire remove her face coverings and finds that even under so many face coverings she still hid her eyes...he chuckled to himself and then nodded.*
Ah...seeing your face again is nice...I still don't understand why but I guess I don't have to.

*After a few attempts to fall back asleep for a bit, Synge finally accepts her mind's urging to get out of bed for the day. If it weren't for that disturbance earlier she probably would have slept at least a few more hours, but now her mind was too full of thoughts to sleep. Sighing, she throws the covers off herself and sits up with a tired yawn. Grabbing her bag on her way to the bathroom, she brushes her teeth, washes her face, pulls her hair up, and changes clothes fairly quickly.*

*Fire sighs and then lets out a yawn*
Well, I am sure something happened to him. That's why I am sure it is him. But oh well, he's not here and I'm not gonna worry about him..it anymore..
* Fire bit her bottom lip and then smiled as joey mentioned her face and not understanding why she covered it.*
You're right. You don't need to understand anything. You have enough to deal with dealing with everyone's emotions!
*Fire's tail swooshed around while she waited for Joey to respond*

*The vampire nibbled on her lip unsure of where to begin and what to say in her letter, it was proving more difficult that she had anticipated. With an exasperated sigh she tossed her head back to stare at the ceiling. She felt Fire's glare for a moment but shook it off, there was no reason to deal with her kind.*
