Fate blinked - That sounded great. She scuffled over to the bar and picked up a small glass of blood. "Keep the change." Afterward, she retreated to her area, staying quiet as she drank.

Dusk tilted his head slightly, waiting for Myyth to speak. His neck twitched again. Something was wrong but he couldn't remember what. He began to feel uneasy, trying to remember what the twing meant...

Quietly, she finished and returned her glass to the barti. "Thanks.." Fate walked to a small table near a window and peered out into the night, sighing softly.

I walked into the bar leaving the light from the streetlamps behind me. It was dim in the room which would make everyone here a little more comfortable. So this is the famous Demonic Ties. A perfect place to be I would suppose The dim light helped my almost natural camoflauge into the shadows. As I neared one of the tables in the corner I realized that I knew two of the people in here. It was the Lycan elders. Interesting that I would see them here when i'm here though not really surprising considering what they were trying to do between the races. I sat down in the corner of the room and watched Myythren and Dusk talking to each others. I wonder if there are any other lycans here also. I looked around and scanned all the people in the room, but since I was new to the lycan community I didn't recognize anyone. It wasn't really surprising as the few that I had even bothered to see were Myythren and Dusk. A waiter finally noticed me sitting in the corner of the room. I had to give him credit because usually they take at least 10 minutes to spot me sitting anywhere by the way I am. He came over and asked me if I wanted anything to drink. "Wine, whichever kind you have. I don't really care," i said in a monotone voice. Most people were unnerved by my voice and its flatness. I was pleased to see a tiny shiver go through the man even though he had to be from one of the races present. He quickly left me at the table to fix my drink. I didn't really blame him at all. He returned shortly with my drink and I sipped it slowly while watching the people in the room. I tried to pick out which race they were and for some this was easy, but for others I wasn't entirely sure.

Glancing up, Fate noticed the man whom just entered. Upon taking in his thoughts, she rolled her eyes. Everyone feasts here. ..What's up with his voice? Looking away again, she gazed out the window once more. As much as she enjoyed her own company, it got lonely. Fate summoned the barti as soon as he finished with his latest task.

"Huh? Oh... it's probably nothing, i'm just getting an odd feeling in my neck..." He scratched it, expecting it to go away in a few minutes.

I looked up as I felt a mind touch my own. Now who could that be? I focused on the mind that had entered mine and I saw that it was a woman in the room that was the center for the mental probe. She's probably a vampire. What right does she have to enter my mind? I focused and banished her from my mind and set up barrier so she couldn't enter again. It was something that I knew how to do easily as I had encountered vampires before.

Fate snickered, a barrier around her mind too. She kept to herself and the window, but muttered in vain. "How cute. The doggie can take care of himself." Once she ordered from the barti, she recieved her spike and drank. "Thanks." She handed him a ten. The bartender looked confused. She whispered, "See that Lycan over there? Give him what those mortals call a Shirley Temple, on me." Winking, Fate finished her glass, and stood.
Unsure, the bartender brought a Shirley Temple to Silver as she walked out the door.

Oh screw this Jaden thought. Dusk's instincts were extremly good for such a young Lycan. So much for doing things the indirect way.
He crossed the bar and took a seat directly across from Dusk. "Hi" he said and then fell silent.

I stared at the drink in front of me and started to seeth with anger. Few things could make me emotional, but I had had a bad day so I was really mad. I sweeped my hand across the table and knocked the drink to the floor. Many people looked up at the crash. I rose from the table and walked to the door following the woman that had just left because I knew it had been her. She had been the one probing my mind and I had seen her talk to the waiter.
(Since we left the bar where should we continue this? The city topic?)

Myyth raised an eyebrow slightly at Dusks comment, but began to really tune into the conversations around them. Seeing Jaden Myyth smiled slightly in welcome, and wondered if there was something going on, or if this was a social call. Turning toward Omki shook her head at his question. "Well......a few things......alot of things to be honest. I'd rather discuss it later though. Have you seen Neko about recently?"

Omki noded and kissed Myyth softly. " Well Dusk I'm sorry I have to do this, but I have to get back on to the stage for another set.... Myyth, I'll talk to you then, I Love you!" He said with a smile.
