Killian received the text and was half annoyed to hear from Di. He read the text, and texted her back. 'I am already on it...' He was already driving Cadence out of town. He wasn't sure what to do though. She was still in bad shape, and she would need some help for a while. He didn't want to stay with her though. He wanted to be in the Creek and get to know his daughter. 'I will be gone a few days, to make sure she is safe and settled. Then I will be back and we will figure out exactly how we are going to handle this situation. I won't allow you to cut me out of our daughter's life anymore.'
Killian drove, and drove. He had a friend that he had already been in contact with. The man would get all the necessary paperwork needed so that Cadence could assume her new identity. She wouldn't be able to be on her own for a while, so he had to figure out what to do with Cadie till then.

"Like I said....I am happy if you are. Wait! Back up! BABIES?! Something you keeping from me?" Lincoln paid for the treats, and took his seat across from Mara. He ate a big spoonful. "No one knows what the future holds...That is the problem." He looked down at his dessert. "I was almost a Father once...or so I thought. The girl lied to me about it. Claimed the baby was mine, but...it wasn't. I got a paternity test because something felt off. Kid wasn't mine. She suspected as much and used the kid to trap me." He ate another spoon of the cold creamy treat. Only other person he had ever told this to was his twin.

"I won't be broken I won't be tortured I won't be beaten down" ~Orion Michael De La Cruz~ "Oh, no thank you." Joshua said quickly. He smiled at Grace, and Thomas. "I should get out of your hair though. Enjoy your vacation." Josh started for the door. "It was dumb of me to come anyway." Joshua opened the front door and there was Orion. His keys in his hand, staring at the man framed in the doorway. Joshua stared back at his son. "Wha....?" Orion asked and frowned. Joshua looked his son over with eager eyes. He had always wondered what his children looked like all grown up. "You're dead." Orion said as he entered the house. Joshua had stepped back. He nodded his head. "That was part of the cover story..." Joshua admitted as he drank in the details of Orion's face. His eldest look so much like him. It was crazy. ~Ryder~ I have the answer I can take the pressure I will turn it all around ~Five Finger Death Punch

Lena Penelope Sinclaire-Caine "I want to drop Ty off, then I will come back. Help you with dinner?" Lena waved at Tyson who was looking around for them. He spotted them and walked over to the pair. "Few more rides and then we are going Ty." The boy agreed easily, much to Lena's surprise. He didn't stick around long, he was off to another ride. "I am not picky. Steak sounds delicious." Soon enough they were back at Archie's. Lena was switching over to her rental. Ty was waving goodbye to Archie from the backseat. He was playing with Lena's Penguin and his Tiger. He seemed to have calmed down quite a bit.

Agent Diana Peck-Kochette Outfit As she sat on the living room floor, Di heard her phone go off. She ignored it for the time until she heard the second ping. Di excused herself from the building game intending to make dinner for the two of them. As she moved into the kitchen, she read both texts from Killian. She was glad he had moved quick, and in a way glad he wanted to get to know their daughter. Yet she knew that meant she really wasn't leaving Shadow Creek anytime soon. "" To: Killian 'I understand. I wasn't trying to cut you out, even if it seems that way.' From: Diana After sending the text, she set the phone on the counter and got herself a cold glass of water. That really hadn't been her goal. Even though she could see where he thought that. Had she been doing that, she wouldn't even have tried to tell him. But it was what it was at this point. She'd deal with the consequences

Location:Home ->Mall Company: Lincoln ]Shirt with yoga pants & Ring Maralyn Ó'Conchobhair She smiled and reached over to squeeze her cousin's hand,"Thank-you." Laughter fell from her throat as he asked her to back up,"Yea, didn't I tell you yesterday they were twins?"Mischief lurked in her blue eyes as she teased her cousin. Yea having more than one would be fun. But she still didn't mind. It was a happy thing. Two dogs, two kids. It worked out just fine, in her mind at least. She'd keep to the one husband thing though.
She continued to eat her dessert until he divulged that he was almost a father. Her blue eyes looked up sadly at him. Her hand covered one of his and squeezed lightly,"I'm sorry someone did that to you. It's a horrible thing to do."What she really wanted to do was go take out that woman's ovaries! Yes Lyn understood accidents happen. But you don't go claiming the baby's every man you slept with! Or pick the best one, as obviously her cousin was. It just wasn't fair!

Killian read the text but did not respond. He wasn't not interested in fight with Diana. He certainly was not interested in being in a car accident because he was busy texting. So he ignored the text and avoided looking at Cadie. She was just a sight that hurt. He felt bad for her, and felt bad for the panic he was going to cause. He had not had time to tell Lena about Operation Free Cadence. He would tell her whenever he returned.
He was not sure when that would be, but he would let Lena know that Cadie was safe. He suspected Lena would not like that she wouldn't be seeing Cadence ever again, but she would have to get over it. The only way to ensure the KOR did not go after her in retaliation for Ben going down was to make sure Cadence was no more. A phantom, a ghost, a distant memory for some.

Jasper Fox
Jasper had been watching the diner out of habit. Checking who came in and went out, listening to conversations. When Victoria asked him about spending the night, his gaze whipped back over to her. He rubbed the back of his head, "Uhhh... Yea that totally shouldn't be a problem at all." As far as he knew at least it wasn't a problem. He hadn't heard from Orion or Grace, so he assumed they were fine. And the CLub.... the club was a mess at the moment he felt. And he really hadn't talked to many of the others besides Orion and Titus. "Yea, tonight is ours."Jasper confirmed to her with a nod. Soon after that their food came. Jasper began eating at once, and waited until Victoria was done before he laid some bills on the table. He stood from the table and offered a hand to Vicki,"Ready to continue our adventure?"

"Uhhhh...noooo!" Lincoln exclaimed. The smile finally reached his eyes. "Twins.....I am happy for you. I hope they are boys!" He ate his food again. Focusing on the toppings, he had picked Reese Pieces, butterscotch chips, cherry boba balls, pineapple chunks and finally marshmallow fluff. "Naaaahhh. It's okay. I was sad at the time, but it's cool now. It's fine. I wouldn't be a good Father, so actually it is a blessing. I don't want kids. Ever. They just aren't for me." Linc ate another big spoonful. Twins...another set of twins in the family. His brother would have been thrilled about the news too.

Location:Home ->Mall Company: Lincoln ]Shirt with yoga pants & Ring Maralyn Ó'Conchobhair "Yea, there will be two trouble-makers being added to the family." Lyn told him smiling. Her smile widened at he mentioned he hoped it was two boys. Of course he would say that. Dereck would probably agree. Lyn just wanted the two little things inside her to be healthy when they came out and joined the world. She wouldn't deny that she was excited to find out what the sexes were though.
Lyn looked sadly at Lincoln for a moment,"I'm sorry you had to go through that roller coaster. I'm sure it wasn't fun." Lyn shrugged her shoulders lightly as she looked back down at her yogurt. "You would have been a good father Linc. You're a great guy."SHe told him honestly before going back to eating. It was true he was a terrific guy. And that was proven just simply by him being willing to even take the kid from some girl that obviously had been a short time thing. But that was her cousin.
As Lyn finished up her treat, she looked at her watch. If she wanted to make dinner, she should be heading home soon. Looking back up at her cousin, she said,"We certainly will have to start doing this more often. I had a good time hanging out again. You know I'm off two days every week? Why don't we pick one to just always hang out on unless there's an emergency?" If his schedule could match that is. And if they couldn't spend the whole day, maybe then at least they could spend some time during the day. Even just a meal. They made time for each other when needed, but she felt they really should be spending more time with each other regularly.

Lincoln smiled at Mara. "You won't be free to hang out once the babies come. Twins....you will have your hands full." He chuckled. "Two babies...You should really start talking with your girlfriends. Come up with a plan, you will need lots of help and support." He finished his huge sweet creamy treat. "You are looking at the time. Must be time to get going." He stood up and grabbed the bags. "Nah. Children just aren't for me. I also don't really see myself ever finding a woman that I want to be with long term."

Mara shook her head,"just means you'll have to come by to hang out. certainly life would change some with the birth of the babes. Almost everything would. Lyn wondered if they would use daycare after the first few months, which she would take at least that much time, or if she would need to quit for a few years. Hopefully she could at least work some partime or her resume would go down the drain. As Lincoln mentioned girl friends Lyn smiled sadly. There were a few women from work she talked to, but not many anymore. Which was fine she just had more guy friends, I thought that's what I had all you for Lincoln. To help me get some sleep. she said joking. As Lincoln stood and grabbed some bags, she nodded her head Yea I guess it's time I should be heading back. Maybe get dinner ready. Thanks again for coming out on such short notice. Lyn told the man as she grabbed the rest of the bags and followed him out of the mall to his car.

"Please don't leave me alone with them! Or you will have to console three crying babies!" Lincoln replied with a grin. He gave her a rough one arm hug about her shoulders. "My schedule is pretty damn flexible. Orion is chill and I can trade off shifts need be." "You'll be okay. Females are horrible creatures anyway. If it wasn't for what's between their legs, men wouldn't put up with their s**t. The head games, attitude, the mouth, it is just exhausting!" He pushed open the door and waited for her to pass through. "Dinner? Cooking? Screw that! Let's go get some Chinese! Or how about Thai?" He looked very happy at the thought of more food.

Location:Home ->Mall Company: Lincoln ]Shirt with yoga pants & Ring Maralyn Ó'Conchobhair Lyn laughed at his comment about her finding three crying babies if she ever left him alone with the kids. No she wouldn't do that to him. Not after everything he had done for her. She figured it would stress him out too much. So no she wouldn't leave him completely alone with the kids. Maybe take a shower. "Well I'm glad you have such a nice boss that you can get some time out to spend with family. We will certainly plan more days to hang out. I need time with all my boys." Lyn told him playfully. Yes Lincoln was her cousin, but yet he was still one that she considered to be 'her boys'. As Kennedy had been too. As he talked about females and their nastiness, she looked at him shocked,"You know without our race all you men would be long dead. We often keep you from doing stupid s**t." As he held the door for her, Lyn sat in his car. She shook her head at his thought of food now."Didn't you just eat?"She thought about it. Maybe not having dishes would be kinda nice. But she had been thinking she'd make Dereck in a kinda apology for her actions earlier, but he did like chinese and sushi. ...."You think that would be better than chicken alfredo? I've got some making up to do after all."

"Ever think us doing stupid things is really Survival of the Fittest in play? Ah! Suddenly makes sense right?" His grin was one that spoke of mischief. "Yeah. Women are vicious though. I mean guys will physically fight. Throw a few punches. Women....man! You guys aim to destroy one another! Like it is a mental and emotional attack as well as physical. Guys aren't capable of that sort of attack. We're dumb. We just want to throw our fists about and appear to come out the victor. The stronger male. Women are on a whole different level. Terrifying actually." What he said was harsh but definitely had quite a bit of truth to it. He seemed to think over the food choices. "Go with his favorite. Whatever his favorite is. Shows you are thinking of him and his likes, wants." Clearly Lincoln was more of a thinker and softy than he let on. It wasn't something he really wanted getting around.
