Never Again...Herald smiled and cupped one hand behind her head before leaning down and kissing her again, more passionately than before. He held her tightly against him as he breathed into the kisses, absorbing every moment. He leaned to the side and began kissing her neck as he continued to hold her. Will I be bound in chains

He reached down slightly and pulled off Emma's bra, letting it land on the floor before covering her up again with himself. She had never really seen him this happy before or full of emotion like he was now. She was glad though. They had come a long way. Never Again...Herald leaned down on Emma, his forehead against hers. "I love you too," he told her, looking into her eyes before he continued. [[Timeskip 1 hour]] Herald was laying on his back as he often did, hands folded behind his head. Things seemed perfect. Right now everything seemed perfect and as it should be. He knew it wouldn't last forever, but that was all the more reason to enjoy it right now. There was the first traces of daylight peeking through the window as an orange and purple dawn greeted them, though it was still mostly dark. He looked up at the ceiling before closing his eyes again, letting all the things that led to this perfect moment run through his head again. Not with sorrow or regret or anger as used to be the case, but with a sense of calm and acceptance that he had never had before. For the first time in his life he was okay with his past. Because it had led to the present. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Next to Herald, Emma was on her stomach, her head resting on her arms with her eyes closed. She let out a small sigh finally and opened one eyes. Emma watched Herald for a moment. She could tell he was awake despite his eyes being closed, most likely thinking about something. He always seemed to do that after they had their fun together. A small smile appeared on Emma's face before she closed her eye once more, figuring she wouldn't bother him this time and let him be. ☾

Never Again...After several more minutes of silence, Herald opened both his eyes, looking up at the ceiling for a moment before looking over at Emma. "How are you feeling?" He asked, wondering if she was rested. He unfolded one arm and reached down, scratching her behind the ear after asking. Will I be bound in chains
