Nothing major. there was just a minor misunderstanding in the instructions. American Psychological Association (APA) formatting includes bolding titles and section titles . . . but the professor said no bolding. So, I had to wait for her to be clear before I could submit it. That is done, and now I just have to hope it is good enough. I really don't want my grade to be anything less than superb. Kinda perfectionist that way. sweatdrop
ninja I is 35. Just felt like sharing.

Well that's good, at least... My classes were all cancelled today on account of yet another blizzard, so I pretty much just stayed in bed most of the day and got other work done.
and by work i mean sleep.
When in the seven hells will this winter be done?! Dayum, Canada. You cold.
About your age - that's actually kind of cool to see, really. I used to know a lady who was in her mid-forties that joined Gaia to give her young daughter (who I believe was mildly autistic, if I recall) someone to talk to and would give her items and stuff. She was a real sweetheart.
Gaia's changed a hell of a lot since I first joined, but every once in a while something epic pops up that makes you go "D'aww."

Yeah. I am able to breathe for a little bit. One last class in my program, and I can apply for my master's degree. Been a long road to get here, and still have a ways ahead of me. My plans for education do not stop anytime soon.
Winter has been giving a few last gasps. Hopefully it is over.
Thanks. Back in my RP guild, they gave me the title "Hen no Ecchi Ojiisan" which I am told translated to "Perverted old man of wierdness." Love it. I joined this site not long after the site went online as a friend pointed it out. I've tried to leave multiple times, but just keep coming back for some inexplicable reason. Gaia started as a RP and chat forum. Not it has become something . . . else. They tried to become a MMORPG site, but that didn't work. Now, they are giving up to 10 announcements every single day, most of them for gaia cash. Spending real money on virtual items, some of them as high as $135. I just don't understand it. And yet . . . I am still here.

This bothers me more than any of the other changes that I've seen over the site since I left and returned. I wish there was a way to shut off Cash-based announcements, since there's no way I'm going to be spending a cent. Everything that I have, I've sold art and created profile coding for. Hell, I can barely afford to buy dinner, let alone pixels.
On a similar but mostly unrelated note, some completely random stranger just gifted me a Kitsune Mask because she saw that I was questing it in my shop. Never met this person before. She thought my avi looked neat because it's decked out and decided it warranted a reward.
I've been questing a Kitsune Mask for about five years now. I don't even know how to respond to this girl.
Mind = blown.

I would start with a thank you.

Oh, it started as a thank you. But it just seemed so... not enough. I so seldom see random acts of kindness in real life, let alone online. I was seriously floored. Lol.

People like that only need thanks. They're so much better than the rest of this that they understand that sometimes the only thing you can say is thank you. But I do understand what you mean by random acts of kindness. Just the other day a man saw me walking to the store. He gave me a ride and enough money so that way I could buy more than raman. People are good. You just have to find it.

Generosity is awesome- I do it on occasion. Perhaps I will more in the future, given I am about out of things I am truly jonesing for. The tail was my grail, and I also have a fairly good compliment of dragons. Now it is saying "that's nice, I'd like that" as opposed to the obsessive "holy balls, I want that so bad" levels.

Did you post in our RP thread. Because my notifications says you did but I can't find it.
