Lirria smiled to her children as they came into the room, Fara quickly walking past Turada. "Hey mom." Fara said. Nina followed them in and stopped by Turada.
"so, what brings you all back so soon?" Lirria asked.

"Turada want's to join our little group. Thought it was best given your history with him to ask you first." Explained Elric, it wasn't like he didn't trust him. Well, not entirely, he wasn't sure how Turada could be of service. There wasn't time for research.

Lirria looked to Turada. "and why do you want to travel with my kids who you wanted as lab rats?" She asked. Turada nodded. "well, I observed Ninas fight with the guardian on the thunder temple and I wanted to know more. I did not get a very good look since the guild hall is located so far from the temple and I won't get any views if they're on the other parts of the planet." He explained.
Lirria let out a sigh. "and how do I know you won't dissect any of them?" She asked. "well I don't have my tools on me of course. Even if I did I wouldn't have had room for my note book." Turada said. Nina got a bit uncomfortable at the fact that he didn't say he wouldn't dissect them.

Elric turned to Nina, bringing his cousin close to him and whispered in her ear. "He doesn't know your little secret yet. I don't want to know what would happen if he did. And I don't like his answer's either. He's dodging the question."

"I wouldn't say he dodged the question." Nina whispered back. "he just gave a weird answer I think." Lirria let out a sigh, it was part relief and part exasperation. "And you're no good with anything larger than a scalpel so you won't be cutting them up with their own weapons." She said. Turada sighed as well. "yes, a tragic flaw really. But then again they don't make swords thin enough so a dissection with a swor-" "I don't need to know more." Lirria interrupted.
"You, can go with them." She said after a moment of silence. "but my children must call in twice a day so I can make sure they're ok. Nina call Irvin and see if he'll make me one of those communicator things. His mom told me they apparently get good reception for something that isn't hard wired." Nina nodded and pulled their communicator from her bag.

Once on the line, Irvin was brought up to speed on why they chose to contact him instead. He could make a communicator for them no problem. It was probably for the best to make more than one, this time better too. "So Lirria needs a communicator too? Mom and I were working on a better device anyway, I'll give one to Lirria as soon as I can." "Mom, you're really not going to make us call you everyday are you?" Whined Benjamin, this was getting into overprotective territory again.

"Yeah, some one just joined our little quest who Lirria isn't completely comfortable with so she'd like to be able to check on her kids." Nina said. "oh that's cool, I'll have to remember to ask about it some time cause I'd like to see it."
Lirria nodded. "Of course, I want to make sure you two are safe and a comunicator would do just the thing since you'll be so far away." Lirria explained. "But isn't two times a day every day a bit much mom? I mean what would we have to tell you two times every day?" Fara asked. Lirria thought about this. "fine then, once every day." She said. Fara sighed. "well, it's progress." She said to her brother.

With that, Irvin began to blush. He didn't think Nina would be interested in it at all. Lately, he had been developing a bit of a crush on her. This wasn't helping. "W-Well, you'll see it soon anyway. I-I can answer your questions then." "Yeah, progress is good. You call her one day and I call her the next?" He asked his sister. That was of course, their mother wished to see them both.

"sounds good." Nina said with a smile. "We'll stop by for a visit when we need to return the ice ring so I'll see you then." Nina said before hanging up.
Fara nodded and looked to their mother. Lirria was a bit hesitant but she nodded. "sure, but if one of you calls me two days in a row expect me to ask what has happened to the other." She stated and then stared at Turada. "And if you do anything to my children or the others I will personally hunt you down and kick your a**."

"R-Right, same to y-you." Irvin gave a sigh of relief. He was glad not only that the call was over, but that they did not yet find said ring. In theory, it should be somewhere at their next location. Likewise Duo's ring should be in Tres, and Uni's ring in Duo. Well, there was one more way he could help them, seeing if he was right in that theory, but first, those communicators. Elric looked towards Nina. "What was his problem?" He asked, not sure why Irvin was speaking the way he had to Nina. "'I'm sure he gets the message mom." Said Benjamin, he could agree to her terms about their calling. All they had to do was stay on schedule. Seeing as Nina and Elric were busy, he decided to sneak in one hug to his mother. "It's...good to see you again, mom."

Nina shrugged. "Maybe he caught a bug while we were gone." Nina said, looking to the communicator. "if he did, I should have wished him well." She put the communicator away.
Fara smiled and did the same as her brother. "Same here." She said. Turada smiled and just watched the family moment.

Elric shrugged, not realizing the only bug Irvin had was the love bug. "I hope not, wouldn't want to work a sick person." He replied to Nina. Well, Irvin should be fine, sheltered or not, he was made of stronger stuff then that. Though that saying would be better suited for his cousin instead.

"Yeah." Nina said. She shrugged some. "But he's a smart kid so I'm sure he knows not to work him self sick." She said, she looked over to the group hug and smiled some. "looks like we've been talking a little long." She said.

Benjamin stuck his tongue out at Nina. "At least spare us this moment before you tease us about it." After saying such, he cuddled in the warmth and safety of his mother. He and his sister were still kids at heart it seemed. "Well hurry up with it, you can do this later. After we're done with this adventure." Said Elric.

Nina nodded in agreement. "We can hug and snuggle when we're done." She said.
Lirria smiled and hugged her kids, giving them both a kiss on the head. "They're right, I think we've hugged long enough." She said, her grip getting no looser than when they first started.
