She took a breath. "Look... I don't know much. I got the hell out of there as soon as the war started, the Time War, between all the time-travelers. All I know is that Gallifrey will burn... and the Time Lords will die."
"It's just like taking care of a normal baby," Angel muttered. "She won't start drinking blood for a while, probably longer than with a vampire baby 'cause she's half-human. She might even not have to drink blood at all."

"Oh, yeah." She smiled cheerily. "And I'm going to need a bunch of animals. Killing people makes me sad, so I need lots and lots of animals. I'm going to need a lot of blood during the birthing."

"Well, whenever Van wakes up, I'll drag him off to help me go hunting." Riley said with a small smile as he looked over at the couple. "Last thing I want to do is scramble around like a chicken with my head cut off tomorrow making last minute preparations."

"Mhm..." Rincewind moaned, moving his lips to Val's.
"I'd like to be angry at you," the Recorder said, suddenly hugging the Librarian, "but I'm just happy to see one of my own kind." Tears ran down his cheeks.

"I'll need them alive," Angel murmured. "Blood goes bad in dead bodies. Bad blood means I won't make it out of the birthing alive."
After a while she pulled away, and murmured, "I'm going to go see if my brother knows anything of Angel's condition."
"I'm happy to see one of my own kind that isn't mad," she murmured back with a smile.

Rincewind moaned, mourning the loss of Val's lips on his, but felt it necessary to go with her. He quickly dressed, putting on his pants--Val had seemingly stolen his underwear again--and his shirt.

Angel gave a little shrug. "Maybe you shouldn't be so horny. Maybe you shouldn't blame it all on me." There was a bit of an edge to her voice, and then she giggled. "Sorry. Vampire hormones."
As soon as he saw Val, Alek murmured, "Riley knocked Angel up."
"I'll help with the evisceration," Val said cheerily.
"Indeed." She led the way back, which was a fairly long trek. She had an intact chameleon circuit, but the TARDIS was confused by the alternate universe, and as a result it was a tree with a door in it.

Mala still kept the sleeping Van close to her, almost looking protective of him as she held him. "Riley, I won't let you die. Sure, he ought to be pissed - I still am - but that baby will need a father. It's difficult raising a child on your own." she murmured softly, as to speak loud enough to be heard while not waking up Van.
