I always feel so bad in psych. There's a really nice girl who gives me a lot of chances for conversation but I just keep reading whichever book I brought that day. sweatdrop

I'd say I'm pretty good at making friend online. We both have something in common, we can meet together pretty much whenever, and it goes from there.
In real life, I'd probably try to avoid talking to someone unless it's a friend I've not seen in a while, or we have a similar interest that I notice.

@ Misa - I was the kid cracking the perverted jokes in high school. The guys I knew had nothing on me. rofl
@ Aneyana - I just haven't tried to make friends since I got out of high school, really. I go to class right on time, don't talk to anyone during class, and leave immediately after. I feel like I'm way too busy to hang around and make an effort to talk to people, and to some extent I guess I don't care about making friends anymore. It's weird. o.o

I have a hard time speaking with other girls.. The ones around here are just so snotty and stuck up. gonk But the guys.. I could handle.. Until 9th grade came around xD

I remember in 8th, you had this one particular girl with a group of other girls. They were your typical "popular girls" but basically snotty brats following each other trying to look cool... One of them... I wanted to hit soo bad D=
...after all those lies you told? Reminds me of going to the all with my sister when she was 18. Every time we saw a girl who was middle school age, she just couldn't stop laughing, "They all look exactly alike!" Who will save your soul...
Because they do xD All of them are wearing the same colors, same hair style, some clothes, same everything. neutral It's pretty pathetic, so they have to pick on people wearing something opposite of them to make themselves feel important.

@ Rayne - We had lots of girls like that. We ended up having practically no diversity at my high school because most (60% or more) of the kids going there had very wealthy parents, so they all wore identical designer clothes. With a majority of that, even the non-wealthy kids saved up and bought stuff that looked like designer clothes. Anyone who actually tried to look different... well... most of them transferred out of the school by 8th grade. I was the only one left by the time 9th grade hit. o.o

 @Dystopian: that's pretty much what I do, except I'll sorta kinda talk to some people in my classes before class starts or during breaks. Though in my cartooning class there were two other people as crazy as I am, so we'd actually talk pretty much the entire time (except when the teach was talking of course).
I woulda thought making friends at my school woulda been easier since it's often called a "nerd" school...and I'm a nerd...so I thought I'd meet other nerds I could nerd-out with. *yay for overuse of the word nerd*

I'm actually writing an essay on why most people in high school are such complete jerks. When I got my rough draft back the note my english teacher wrote seemed so excited, "I love the research of high school sociology!"

It was pretty much the same around here as well. They all wore s**t like Abercrombie & Fitch, hollister , American eagle. Tons of other stores with those types of clothing. I swear, anything out of that particular group of clothing and you were instantly an outcast.
o3o Youch.. I remember several people in my school changing as well but it was hard considering any other school around you have to pay a yearly tuition of some sort because it was out of your district. rolleyes ...after all those lies you told?

@ Aneyana - ...I don't know what it is, but something about universities just makes it harder to find people to spend time with unless you go way out of the way to try. Maybe it's the size? I went to a small university my first year and I ended up knowing most of the people in my year at least by sight, and most by their names. I transferred out of there to a bigger school and didn't really click with anyone.
@ Shiori - That's hilarious, your teacher is awesome. xDDD
@ Rayne - Well, the thing with my school was that it was a private school, so people were paying like 8k a year for their kids to go there anyway. If their kids were unhappy, it just made more sense to save the money and get their kids out of the environment. The kids could always go to public school for free if my evil school didn't suit them. D:

Some guys in my Chem class try to tease me and tell me disturbing things. Honestly, they try to twist everything I say/have/do/read/SD%Y$A$V;ERYTHING into something perverted. Simple convo example: "Nim, you're sooo mean. ]:" "I never said I wasn't evil." "Are you evil in bed? ;D" "....I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that." "...*snicker*" "..." "...Sooo that book is about Greek gods and heroes? ;3" "Yes." "Which one would you sleep with? 8D" "None." "You sure? ;D I hear Zeus is pretty sexy...Wouldn't you f*%$ one of them?" "I would not sleep with them. And Zeus is a manwhore." "Ooooh, you said whore!" I headdesk. A lot. It's like dealing with a two year old except they'd have watched too much pr0nz or something. D:< It's funny sometimes, but we never get anything done and it screws over my grades. ;~; And as for rich kids... My yearly tuition is like 10k, so...yeah...there's some spoiled rich kids.... ....Lulz, textwall. >^>;

I think the guys just didn't dare to be too sexual. I'm feeling you on the paid tuition and rich kids thing, I really am.
The thing is, my school had the unfortunate mix of not only being private but being run by a Christian church. We had mandatory Bible classes and all of that. The guys were all afraid that if they said stuff that was too perverted that Jesus would strike them down or something. o.o
Oh, and the teachers and all that pretty much followed that idea. We did have sex ed classes and whatnot, but it was abstinence only and the teachers all but said that we'd be struck dead and go to hell if we had sex anyway. rofl

You should have seen the school parking lot. It was in fashion for all the parents to get their kids BMWs for their 16th birthdays. You were a bit of an outcast if you didn't have one.

Mine was Wesleyan. Do you have to go to mass during the day and stuff? We just had chapel services once a week.
