"Well... I am not really the type... I mean... I think I am a little too..." Yoru sighed as he could not find the words he was looking for. To a man like himself, it seemed like a childish request. Something high school sweethearts would think fun and romantic. Still he didn't want to just say no to Nathan. He thought for a moment and then a thought occurred to him. "I would like to bet anything that you have never flown under the cool rain."

Nathan opened his mouth, then shut it. "I don't think I ever have, no. But if you're offering, then I'd love to try it with you," he smiled.

Yoru nodded. He walked behind Nathan and wrapped his arms tightly around him. "Are you ready?" he asked, whispering into the other's ear and extended his ebony wings.

Nathan held Yoru's arms around him and snuggled back into Yoru's arms and wings. "Mhmmm..."

"Alright then." Yoru took off in an instant. As he flew higher and higher, rain drops began to fall. The water was cool and it felt good on Yoru's skin. He flew at a slow pace so they both could enjoy the flight under the rain. Yoru watched the clouds carefully to make sure that it would only be rain falling and not a storm with lighting.

The Angel was very happy to be where he was, so he kissed Yoru's hand in gratitude, then watched the sky. "So gorgeous up here..."

"Yes. You are quite right." Yoru flew up a little higher so that Nathan could have a perfect view of the world below them. "There have been times when I have wished that I could just keep flying and never have to stop and return to that earth."

"The world can be a horrible place to live. But at least we can always go flying together..." Nathan looked down, enjoying the view. But his shoulder blades were beginning to twitch and itch, reminding him that he soon needed to fly higher for training.

"I see. Must I let you go?" He held Nathan tightly. He then stopped and stayed floating in mid air with Nathan in his arms. "Will you forgive me if I think of acting selfishly? I want you to be happy, but... If I had my way I would never let you go. I would refuse to give you away to anyone. Even if it meant I had to keep you as my prisoner."

Nathan couldn't answer for a moment, so he just held tighter to Yoru instead. He started feeling warm and fuzzy, uplifted. "I like that you don't want to give me away to anyone. You only have to let me go while I train and you go to work... all the rest of the time I'll cling to you just as much as you do to me.
Please?"
