While the crimsonette was fighting she suddenly heard Naminé's voice. Kairi was glad that her Other had finally answered, but what she said made her very worried. Her Nobody told her that Riku and Roxas were fighting one another, and that she couldn't let either of them get hurt. The blonde sounded frantic so the Princess quickly reassured her. "Don't worry Naminé! We'll be there as soon as possible! Keep talking to me to let me know what's going on, and I'll tell the others," Kairi thought in a calm tone, hoping to relax Naminé a little. The red head sighed. Boys. The crimsonette knew they both loved Naminé, but fighting wasn't the answer.

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

Sally took time to smile faintly at Jack as he praised her quick thinking and got rid of the Heartless she'd grouped together. The rag doll stepped back now and watched her friends fight, amazed with this skill and proficiencey. The girl with the fiery ribbons was astounding. The way she moved in a complex and deadly dance was beautiful. Looking away from her she looked out at her friends as she stayed out of their way, wishing she could fight more. Because she was watching them, she didn't notice the Wight Knight that leapt to attack her.

Luckily, one of Sora's friends seemed to notice and he sent his weapon striding towards it and perishing it into oblivion. Turning to look at her savior, Sally met a vampiric redhead and she smiled at him. "Thank you." She told him, her tone grateful. It wouldn't have hurt if the Heartless had raked her with its claws. At worst, she'd loose a limb and have to sew it back on. But she didn' feel physical pain. Sally noticed that the Heartless wave was thinning, meaning it as surely almost over.

Sora frowned as he was mentally ignored by Roxas. But he knew something was up. He’d felt another wave of rage. He made a mental note to go check things out there the second he got the chance. However, now he had to focus on ridding Halloween Town of the minor Heartless that had shown up. Kairi had already jumped in on the action, so he followed her, not wanting her to get hurt. Gargoyle’s were especially tricky, but he knew their techniques. Kairi was handling herself rather nicely, but the brunette took out a couple that she’d neglected. He’d almost been singed by a dark flame from one of them, but had gotten away with a mere burn on his coat. He turned to Kairi.
”You’re doing great!” he encouraged her, turning to slam his Keyblade into a Wight Knight. However, before he could say anything else to the crimsonette, he heard the familiar voice of his sister call his name. He turned to see Ari run up to him, then she panted out that Riku and Roxas were fighting over Naminé. His brow furrowed, but other than that, he really didn’t show any reaction.
”I knew it,” he spat in disgust, thinking about his best friend and his Nobody. ”Well, they won’t kill each other by the time we’re done with these Heartless, so they can wait. Come on, Ari, help us out!”

Zero had successfully gotten Ari to Sora and the others, so he went back to see what Jack was up to. Jack had watched for a moment in a daze as Axel saved Sally from a Wight Knight. He knew the rag doll couldn’t be harmed, but he hated seeing her torn to pieces. But he’d been occupied with a Wight Knight of his own during Sally’s assault. He knocked the Heartless away and turned back to Sally.
”Remember to watch yourself, Sally!” he called to her. He really cared about her and didn’t want her torn up even though she could just sew herself back together. Jack saw that the big Heartless had been taken care of and all that remained were the normal ones. He saw Lakayna do her flame dance of death, which he was impressed by. His own dancing techniques were impressive, so seeing her reminded him of himself. He turned to a group of Shadows and aimed a Firaga spell at them, and it exploded, killing them all as soon as it hit.

blink was leading some of the heartless away,
as he ran summoned vines infront of him and ducked in and out of them.
he turned his head and watch as heartless sloqly got trappes by them falling one by one. "Good" he said to himself and he made the vines go back underground pulling the heartless down to.

Riku was slightly distracted by Naminé when Roxas came back at him, he managed to block the Oathkeeper but Oblivion hit him straight in the torso, scraping across it. The silvernette quickly pulled Way to Dawn away from Oathkeeper and slammed it down at Roxas' right shoulder, hoping to get an impact after the blonde's last hit. He moved back then, checking the damage on his chest for a few seconds before glaring up at the Nobody. Right now would be an awesome time to have a crap load of Darkness to use. Riku rushed forward ready to thrust Way to Dawn straight forward at the boy's empty chest.

User ImageOf course Roxas heard Namine yell for them to stop, as well as Sora mentally demanding him what was going on, but he chose not to react. All his focus was on the silvernette he was now combating with. When he made his horizontal slash to Riku, the rest of his body followed the blade, circling around and lifted Oblivion in time to block Riku's attack on his shoulder and jump away as Riku did. He then heard Sora say that they wouldn't kill each other by the time the group reached them through their link. Don't be so sure, Sora. he shot back at his Other as he saw Riku run up to him to stab the Nobody in the chest. But Roxas was ready. Holding his keyblades out, he held Oathkeeper up high and swung down, pushing Way to Dawn into the ground and then spun around, swinging Oblivion to hit Riku in the back. Why didn't you tell me about Riku and Namine, Sora?! he demanded as he made the attack.

~Alexander~
~Heir to The World That Never Was~

Alexander followed Hikari into the fray as she rushed forward towards the heartless. He summoned his keyblade quickly and began dispatching as many of them as he could. After his first few kills he saw that Hikari was having trouble. She had lost all of her powers before, so it was actually kind of stupid for him to allow her to fight the heartless at all. The nobody raised his hand quickly and sent a tendril of light and dark energy at a heartless who was coming up behind her. "Hikari, be careful!" He yelled in a concerned voice. As he did so, three dusks appeared around Hikari. The lesser nobodies then immediately started to protect her from any incoming heartless. Meanwhile, this left Alexander free to take care of the heartless near him without worrying about his friend.

Sora
The Keyblade Master

Jack turned to see Blink’s amazing attack with his vines. He really wished that he could control plants. That would freak out the townsfolk so much and would be a great addition to Halloween. He really needed to stop thinking about that and focusing on the Heartless, though. So he told himself to focus or else he would have to wait until the day after the day after Halloween to start thinking about next year’s. And that would be the equivalent to torture to him. Jack’s attention was then pulled to the two newcomers as they started fighting Heartless. Of course he didn’t trust Hikari still, but at least she was helping them. He couldn’t help but suspect maybe she was the reason they were there, but something told him she had nothing to do with it. There was another boy with her that’d been rather silent and distant from the group. He didn’t know his name, but he looked like the Grim Reaper. He also seemed to have control over the enemies that he and Sora had often fought a year ago. He found this suspicious, but as long as he was helping, the skeleton would let it slide. So he turned back to another group of Shadows that were advancing on Mildred.
”Look out!” he shouted, taking several large steps that landed him right next to her. He took out a couple with a Blizzard spell and hoped her Feary could deal with the rest.

Sora had turned from Ari for now and was back to helping Kairi fight off the Wight Knights and Gargoyles. However, he heard Roxas’s voice in his mind, snapping at him that he wouldn’t be to sure of that, referring to the brunette saying neither would have killed the other by the time they got there. This made him grimace a bit. You’d better not kill him, he warned. If either of you kill the other, we’re gonna have some serious problems. That’s a promise. The Nobody then demanded why he hadn’t told him that Riku and Naminé were a couple. He gave an exasperated sigh. As if it wasn’t obvious! he exclaimed mentally. I’m mean, they’ve only been going out for the entire year! What, am I supposed to point out the obvious to you now? You’re heartless, not brainless! But that’s not even important! What’s important is that you don’t kill each other! Things will work out the right way, but not if you try to beat each other’s brains in! Naminé will just hate both of you! He didn’t understand how his Other could be oblivious to what this was doing to Naminé. He knew that if it were he and Riku fighting over Kairi, she’d be devastated. If Roxas really cared about Naminé, which he knew he had to, then he wouldn’t hurt her in this way. It’d make her like him more if he was the bigger person and backed off from the fight. But he knew how stubborn Roxas was, and he knew that the chances of that happening were extremely slim.

Riku grunted as Roxas slammed Oathkeeper over his keyblade, locking it against the ground. The silvernette looked up to see the blonde swinging Oblivion at his back, and he ducked. He managed to dodge the blade and punch at the blonde's stomach, jerking Way to Dawn free and standing. He aimed a quick strike at the Nobody's shoulder again before moving away. Naminé had moved to the back of his mind, right now this was only he and Roxas.

Ari gave a brief nod before summoning her keyblade. "Sora, you may want to hurry though," she said jumping into the fight. She managed her way through the shadows and Heartlesses. Moving closer to the group and watching the numbers dwindle.

Naminé
Miss Memory Witch

User Image

Naminé heard Kairi respond to her, telling the Memory Witch not to worry and that she and the ohers would be there as soon as possible. Kairi told her to keep speaking to her, so she could tell the others. But the fight before her left Naminé speechless. Both mentally and physically. The blonde's crystaline eyes were wide, tears beginning to p***k at her eyes. She hated to see the two people she cared most about in the worlds fighting like this! Of course, both boys ignored her and when Riku got slashed on the chest, she screamed his name. "Riku!" However, the silvernette didn't seem to be injured too much and he swung his blade black at Roxas, who blocked it and tallied with Oblivion, swinging it to Riku's back.

"Stop!" She shouted again, though this time her voice was slightly choked. "Please!" She pleaded, her voice heartbreaking. Raising her hands she curled them and placed them against her chest, where her heart would be if she had one. She felt as though she were being torn in two. Wanting to help but knowing that the first one she helped would hurt the other one. Shaking her head, her sadness turned to anger and she stepped back. "I can't believe you two!" She shouted to them. "This is so... so stupid! What are you even trying to prove?" Them fighting was hurting her... And she knew that whatever she said, they wouldn't stop. They wouldn't listen.

"Fine!" She screamed. "You want to hurt each other, I don't care!" Of course, that was the biggest lie she could possibly ever tell. But she was so angry and hurt and watching them hurt each other added a fresh new pain everytime they struck each other. Turning her backs on them she began to run, brushing past Xion and away from the area. Away from the two she loved so she didn't have to see them get hurt right in front of her eyes and know that she couldn't help them. Naminé was devastated. And being there would only hurt her more. Running away from them she ran in the opposite direction of where Kairi and Sora's group was and headed to the graveyard, falling to the ground by one of the tombstones and pulling her knees to her chest, putting her head on her knees as she hid herself away.

Lakayna looked towards Ari briefly when Ari's voice entered the vicinity. However, doing this caused the lavendernette to lose her concentration for a split second, resulting in a long scratch across her cheek from a Whight Knight that started to slowly bleed, and a couple other tears in the dragoness's clothes and more torn open and bleeding skin. She growled softly in frustration, turning towards the small group of Heartless that'd attacked her. Lakayna inhaled and let loose a jettison of flames from her mouth, like she might if she were in her dragon form.

The Heartless were quickly fried to a crisp. Thank god the wave was quickly thinning. Lakayna wasn't sure how much more of this she could take.

(let's end the heatless fight really soon.)

User ImageUser ImageHikari could only use her fists to fight the heartless as they continued attacking, as well as using whatever she could get her hands on as a weapon. She turned around as dark and light tendrils flew at her and passed, destroying a Heartless that was aiming to attack her. Then when the dusks appeared to help her fight, she saw her opportunity and grabbed one by the leg, swinging it around her head and flung it out, making it collide with a pair of Wight Knights that launched themselves at Alexander. "You be careful!" she retorted as she finished off the last of the Heartless.

The more Namine was yelling for them to stop, the more he found it harder to continue. That's stupid! They hardly even spoke to each other since we got to the islands and you know it, Sora! he argued before he staggered back after a punch to the stomach. Unfortunately this distracted him long enough to get hit again in the shoulder, making him drop Oblivion. With a loud grunt, he gripped his shoulder, focusing long enough to hear Namine demand what they were trying to prove by fighting and then say that she didn't care. Something in him snapped and he didn't want to fight anymore. "Namine!" he yelled after her, then looked back at Riku. Still gripping his shoulder, he dug Oblivion into the ground, making it disappear. "I don't have time for you!" he told the silvernette and retreated after the witch.

He saw her run as far as the graveyard, but exactly where he lost track. "Namine! Namine where are you!" he called out, holding his shoulder as he looked around with his uncovered eye. "Namine please come out! Namine I'm sorry I fought him. But he took you away from me once already and I couldn't take it to lose you again!" he exclaimed, referring to the first time when Riku helped DiZ keep them apart. "We promised we'd be together as long as Sora and Kairi were," he said, catching his breath as he still searched for her. "I love you, Namine. Just like Sora loves Kairi. I just didn't realize that you of all people would forget," he said sadly, summoning Oathkeeper. He had to keep himself from crying from his non-existent broken heart. He tighten his grip on the keyblade's handle. "He wins, Namine. I'm not going to fight anymore. Do whatever makes you happy," he said, driving the Oathkeeper into the earth and silently ordered it to stay there. He then took one last look around the grave yard in hopes of seeing her and turned to leave.

Riku smirked when he actually hit Roxas' shoulder but the expression fell when he heard Naminé's final shout before she ran off. The silvernette watched her run from them before Roxas hissed at him and ran after her. Riku wanted to go after the Nobody, his girlfriend but he knew in doing so he'd just end up wanting to kill Roxas. He forced himself to stay put and just wait it out. Naminé would come back...right? Way to Dawn disappeared just in time for the silvernette to be shoved back roughly. He stumbled back, grunting at the stink across his chest, and stared down at the puppet who was glaring up at him.

"What the hell is your problem Riku?!" she shouted at him after pushing him in the chest. "Couldn't you see you were hurting Naminé!?! I can't stand to see you acting like this! You're acting like an idiot!!" The ravenette glared up at him, tears in her eyes. She wasn't sure why she wanted to cry but she did. She kept her eyes trained on Riku as he stared speechlessly down at her.

Alexander couldn't help but laugh as Hikari sent one of the dusks he had sent to protect her flying at a group of heartless attacking him. "Good point, I'll make sure to do that." He responded to her comment as he cleaved through a gargoyle who flew at him. The heartless disappeared in a puff of darkness, only to be replaced by another one. After a few more moments of fighting Alexander realized that the heartless threat was seriously declining.

Naminé
Miss Memory Witch

User Image

Naminé had heard Roxas calling out to her but she ignored it. They'd both just go back to their fight and tear each other into shreds and when that happened Naminé would be so shattered she doubted she'd ever be able to feel like she'd be alright ever again. The petite blonde had her head hidden as she bowed it, putting her forehead against her knees and blinking back the tears of anger and sadness. That was when she heard Roxas' voice. Her head lifted, shocked. He'd come after her?

She listened to him plead for her to come out, apologizing for fighting with Riku and when she heard the reason why, a new pain formed in her chest. They really had been... fighting over her? Roxas reminded her of their promise and she was finding it harder and harder to blink the tears back. Of course she and Roxas would be together. She'd be with him forever. That's the way she wanted it! But she also wanted to be with Riku forever. How was she suppose to choose between one or the other? She couldn't! That was when Roxas said he loved her. Her breath caught in her throat and for a moment she couldn't breathe. The tears she'd been holding back flowed freely now, falling from her eyes. Had she forgotten? No. She hadn't forgotten. She'd just... hadn't known if he had loved her as more than a friend. She had been so oblivious, misinterpreting all the signs... She heard the pain in Roxas' voice and the tears fell faster. He was hurting and it was her fault.

The Nobody Keyblade Master said that Riku won, he wasn't going to fight anymore and for her to do whatever made her happy. The Memory Witch looked around the tombstone and some him some few feet away, slamming Oathkeeper point first into the ground, where it struck. The charm fluttered softly in the wind. The Thallasa Promise. Sora and Kairi's promise. Naminé and Roxas' promise. That was when she could no longer deny what she knew was true. She was in love with Roxas. But she was also in love with Riku. And because of this, she was hurting the two she loved. Hurting them continuously. Scrambling to her feet she walked over to Oathkeeper and brushed her hand against the handle of the Keyblade then looked up at Roxas. "Roxas... I..." She began, the tears falling from her eyes as a wave of sadness tugged at her. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I never forgot our promise. I could never! You're someone too important to me for me to ever forget. I love you. I love you but I also love Riku and I don't know what to do because I'm hurting you both!" She managed to sob out, burrying her face in her hands and crying. Why had she told him that? Because he deserved to know the truth.
