To want happiness I had never known." Meredith was curled up quietly in the back of his cage, half asleep and hardly noticing the customers curiously looking around the shop. He shifted to his side a bit, trying to get into a more comfortable position as more and more people continued to pile in. Normally he would try and hide himself when the shop was busy, but he was simply too tired to care.
He overhead an interesting piece of a conversation coming from some of the neighboring cages and lifted himself up slightly to get a better look. They seemed to be talking about mind reading powers of some sort. By the time he could've managed to think up something to say, their conversation would most likely be over, so he decided to just keep his mouth shut and watch. "Never mind me, never mind me,
Just talk about something." <3

 "Don't worry.You won't have to deal with it anymore.I'm gonna ask Jay for a collar to kept me from reading minds." Cloud got up and went back to her bed.I wonder were Jay could be anyway.I guess I'll just wait untill tomorrow to ask him about it.Cloud closed her eyes, taking a deep breath to relex her body.I need to think about a few things.Cloud went into deep thougt.

 "Is anyone here!" The man yelled. He was getting impasent. T he girl in the cage behind him tryed to since where she was. She couldn't see and her hands where tied for what ever reason. "Where am I?" She thought as she tryed to free her hands.

 Jay looked over and sighed. "Alright.. This is it..." Jay walked over to Cloud and put a silver collar around her neck. The power collar quieted her mind and prevented her from using her mind reading ability and powers were restrained.

The man saw a guy over by one of the pathetic exuse of a slave. "Sir.... do you know who I can speak to so I can get rid of this ......" He smiled evily. "b***h?" He asked as he pointed to the woman in the cage.

Cloud looked up at Jay and gave him a little smile "Thank you Jay." Cloud moved to one of the conners in the back of the cage to get away from the screaming man at the front desk.He was starting to give me a headche from all the yelling.Where does he get off calling me a pathetic exuse for a slave.It pisses me off.Once Cloud was settled down she just then relized that she was being watched.She looked up at the boy watching her.I hadn't even relized he had been there let alone watching me.He must be new.I tryed to push into his mind, but the collar stoped me from doing so."Damn..." I just put it on and already I've forgotten about it.Cloud got annoyed at herself.

To want happiness I had never known." Meredith heard more voices by the entrance, and crawled up to the front of his cage curiously. It was a large man with a cage that contained what looked like another slave. He noticed the way he talked about her, the way he referred to her made him cringe. Meredith was almost glad he was getting rid of her, since he didn't think anyone deserved to be owned by a master that cruel. He continued to watch from his cage, hoping maybe she would be next to him so that they could talk.
Meredith noticed the girl that he saw earlier moved in her cage, and turned towards her. He still wasn't sure what to say, but maybe he would think of something. At the moment he was feeling worried since there was a chance the angry man dropping off the new girl wanted another slave. "Never mind me, never mind me,
Just talk about something." <3

 Fox had been watching everything that had been going on.He thought that it was wrong for Cloud to want the collar to keep her from reading minds, but it was her choice to do so.He was just glad that someone else could read minds like him. He had noiced that he was not the only new slave.There was another boy that look a few years older then me and then theres the girl in the cage the man has bought in.I feel bad for her.He has no right calling her a b***h and refering to her as if she some type of dog.Well at least she won't be with that mean man much longer.

The man smirked. " Really..... I though this b***h would be worth more then that." He srughed. "But I guess thats it will have to do." He said as he waved one of his men to bring the girl towards the what he though was, the shop owner. "Hope you have fun with this pne..... and you might want to keep that blind fold on her." He laughed evily as he took out her papers. Stary, cringed back in her cage as she felt herself moving again. "What happening to me? Where are they taking me now?" She thought. "I am not a b***h! you the coward!" She yelled towards the voice of the man.

Cloud took her eyes off of the guy who had been watching her and foucs her attention on Jay making his way over to the man and the girl.Just looking at the man angered her so much.I could tell that he put the poor girl though hell, but once Jay buys her he take care of her and get her own cage,some food and water,clothing,and a nice bath.But the mans smart remark toward Jay and the girl saying shes wroth more had done it.Cloud got up and ran to the front of her cage, hitting at the bars with full force. "YOU JACKASS! YOU'LL NEVER EVEN DREAM OF HAVING HOW MUCH MONEY SHES REALLY WROTH YOU JERK!" Cloud grabed at the cage bars with flaming red eyes, ready to knock the s**t out of him

Not again.. He thought as he kept coughing, probably bringing negative attention to him. No one wanted a sick slave, and that was the main reason he was probably never going to be sold.
Maybe i'll die in here... He thought as blood trickled down his hand. As soon as he noticed it the small boy quickly placed his other hand over his mouth and pushed himself back into the corner of his cage, trying to hide that he was bleeding. Before he could do anything about the blood he started to cough again. He hoped that his hands would muffle the sound enough to keep it from being apparent, but it was unlikely, especially since there was more than a few customers in the shop. Stary could hear that something was wrong. Someone was trigering her power to an animal in trouble. "Someones sick.... I can hear him coughing." She thought. "Someone help that person! someones very sick jere!" She yelled to them. She pulled harder on her bondings on her arms, her need to help the one in trouble ignighting.
