"...do you want to go with them?" he asked, very softly. It broke his heart, but the thing called love was making him falter in his past convictions. He wanted Raquel to himself. He wanted to be the reason for her happiness, her strength, her everything. Damian wasn't ready to accept the fact that maybe he wasn't the best thing for him, even if he was so sure that without a doubt, his perfect Raquel was the only woman in the universe who could make him happy by simply being.

Raquel's answer came in the form of silence. She eased herself against him, her arms slipping around his in a gentle hug. Sheburied her face into his chest, and tried not o cry. Did she want to go? She wanted to stp feeling miserable despite all the happiness around her. But- "I love you...Damian I love you..." She cried into him, her tears starting back up.

That wasn't an answer. Damian held her tight to him, pressing his hand to the back of her head. She couldn't see it, but his eyes were reaching out desperately to something in front of him. Anything, the floor, the furniture, anything could give him an answer in this silence, but didn't. Damian had no idea what to do, so when he found himself speaking, he wasn't so sure that it was even him.
"I love you, too, with all of my heart. And if this is something you feel you have to do... then..." Raquel, please don't leave me.

Raquel stopped breathing a moment, she pulled away only enough to look up at him. "Damian-..." Was he telling her to go?
"You heard him Raquel dear..." Amethyst cooed in a soft, gentle voice as she reentered the room. Andrew walked over, and proceeded to pack her suitcase without another word. Raquel just looked up at him, a fear developing her. "Raquel-" Amethyst placed a hand on her shoulder, pulling her away form Damian's grasp. But she jerked away only long enough to grab him and kiss him with all her might. But her passion was interrupted as she was pulled back yet again. "We're wasting precious time!" She barked, snatching Raquel's hand.
Andrew was already out the door, lugging Raquel's things, hoping now they could simply sweep out while Damian was still in shock. He was long gone now as Amethyst reached for her ring. "You wont be needing this." She sighed as she started to pry the lovely gem from her finger.
"N-n-no!" She jerked and pulled her hand back. "Oh dear, dont be so sentimental! Besides, we'll fix that. We can make it so that you dont even remember this lower life form." Raquel's face was one of horror as she looked to Damian, eyes pleading as Amethyst yanked the ring from her, dropping it to the ground as if it were worthless before ushering Raquel out the door, Leaving Damian alone with himself.

"No." Damian was out running after them, reaching for Raquel's hand in a desperate attempt to get her back. They were stronger than he was, smarter, faster... but they couldn't stop his love.
"Raquel!" he screamed, reaching for Amethyst's hair in an effort to slow her down. Normally he wouldn't have attacked a woman, but they were villains through and through, despite their reasoning. "Raquel, I love you!" he cried again, just in case this all failed. Just in case he couldn't actually overcome these things...

Raquel was actually screaming and crying herself. "Damian!" She reached out to him but was promptly pulled away while Amethyst spun around to face him. "Damian get the hell out of here! They'll kill you if I don't go! Dam-" She was out off by a strike to the face. She was sent flying back against the wall, falling to her knees in a crumpled mess. Andrew cracked his knuckles as if wanting to go for another blow but stopped himself, not wanting to hurt her too much.
"You should listen to her Damian old boy!" He shouted, turning to join his love in facing him. Andrew made the first move, Grabbing Damian roughly, Throwing him to the ground, only to pick him up, and repeat this a few more times. Once he felt he was limp enough, he shoved him into a wall, getting close to his face. "I told you... This is what's best for her. She knows ... You know it. But you also know... she loves you too much to do whats good for her. You selfish b*****d." He pressed on him a bit harder. "She was about to make the best decision of her life until your pathetic inferior human emotions get in the way. Now Like I warned you...we're doing this the hard way." He smirked, whispering this all to him so Raquel and Amethyst couldn't hear. He drew his fist back though only hesitated when Amethyst warned him not to make too big of a mess.
"Darling, if you kill this man, the media will be all over it. He's too influential as a human to be murdered. We'd have to make it look like suicide or an accident..." Andrew nodded in agreement. "Well we know if I punch him hard enough, we can make the carnage look like a shot gun blast instead..." He smirked though knew she had a point.

His nose was bleeding badly, and his body was overall throbbing with pain. Beaten senseless, Damian relented. "Wait... wait," he whispered through his haze. As feeling returned to most of his body, replaced with pain, Damian knew what he had to do to save both of them.
"Raquel..." he whispered, looking at her with his sad, mournful eyes. He was simply too weak to protect her. He'd failed. "I love you. You h-have to go. I'm sorry, I'm so s-sorr--" the rest of his words were cut off by pain in his lower back as it popped back into place. What a bloody mess this was, but if both of them could make it out alive...

Raquel looked up to him, her face starting to color and swell, making her look much like she did the day he found her. "Damian..." Her eyes were filling with Tears.
"That a boy. Smart on your part..." he let Damian fall to the ground wiping the blood from his hands as he turned to Amethyst. "Grab her things." He instructed, coming over to Raquel. Without warning he scooped her up, despite her thrashing and screaming at the top of her lungs. "Damian! DAMIAN! No! Please I don't want to go! Please Damian!!" She was crying in hysterics as they carried her out the door.

Time. He'd bought them some time. Damian scrambled to his room to retrieve a more reliable fire arm than the other he had used. This time, he wouldn't miss.
Damian went out into the house and followed Raquel's cries, and instead of aiming for Andrew, he aimed for Amethyst, and held his aim. "Stop or I will shoot!" he cried. Unlike before, his hand was steady, and he had a deadly look in his eye.

Andrew stopped to laugh until he saw where the gun was pointed. His eyes flinched, looking to Amethyst who for once didn't seem cocky and arrogant. "Andy-...He means it..." She sad slowly, reading the deep pulsations of adrenaline and anger. She knew he meant what he said.
Andrew seemed to sense this too, as his mind searched for some kind of solution. "Two can play this...You shoot her...I'll kill your precious mutt." He lifted Raquel into the air by her neck. She was struggling and crying out to Damian as she pried at Andrews hand. It was Lorey's attack all over again.

"You let Raquel go," he said, voice strong and purposeful. Amethyst could pick up on his intentions, so be it. It only helped get his point across. "You let her go, and I shall lower my weapon. If you don't like that idea, then you let Raquel go and give me the beating you always wanted to give. As long as I make it out alive, you can go right to bloody town."
He was willing to do anything to make them let Raquel go. Even if he technically died from his wounds, it wouldn't matter. Not if Raquel could live in safety again.

Andrew looked to Amethyst who sighed and nodded. He stepped towards Damian Centurion, still holding Raquel in his grasp. She was gasping and crying, looking to Damian and trying to stay conscious. "Sounds like a deal..." He threw Raquel to the ground violently, sending her skidding across the grass and pavement, gasping in the air that was no flooding into her lungs. "Amethyst I'll meet you back at the ship..." He called, cracking his neck, grapping the hand with the gun to get Damian to drop it. "Time for your punishment boy." He growled, his eyes filled with blood lust.

Damian dropped the gun. This would probably become the most painful experience of his life, but to save Raquel, he would succumb to it.
"Raquel... run. Get out, and find a safe place." Eyes locked with Andrew, it was evident that he wasn't allowed to begin until Raquel was far enough away not to hear his cries.

Andrew smirked grabbing the collar of his shirt. "Aw let her watch. Let her see we're not the kind of people to antagonize. Let her see what both of your insolence has brought." He looked back to a stunned Raquel. "You could have avoided this love... just remember that."
Raquel had meanwhile tried to stand but with difficulty. Part of her wanted to run. She wanted to do what Damian said, but she couldn't will hr feet to move. She merely stood there, shaking terribly, trying to search her mind for some way to stop this from happening.
But it was too late. Her train of thought was interrupted by a dull thud as Andrew began his reign of terror upon Damain's body. Blow after Blow, Raquel just froze, her heart stopped and mouth agape.

Damian braced himself, but nothing could really prepare him for what was going to happen. Everything felt bruised, broken and destroyed. He couldn't help himself from screaming at times when something struck him powerfully, and every second that passed made him wish he would just black out. That didn't happen, though.
