Rajei leapt off Yami's back into Kai's arms. "When we go into town, everything takes effect, sir," she said.

Rajei followed him. She started to trail behind him a little, since her mind was occupied, but she caught herself and moved up closer to him, but not quite at his side.

Rajei stayed back behind Kai as they walked. They passed several people selling food and she started to get hungry. "K-Sir, would you like something to eat?" she asked. When she spoke, some people in the market turned to look at her, wondering what Kai would do.
