Kale came downstairs again, with only one bag with his few possesions and he changed clothes. He had on his robe from his past as well. He stopped by Kaida and the boy. "I'll be taking him now." he stated, still emotionless.
The vampires that lived in the mansion all came out. "I hope you die traitor." one said to Kale.

Kaida nodded, eyes downcast and stepping back from the boy.
Cayden looked at her, still not wanting to leave her. With a look from her though, he turned his small and innocent gaze to Kale and Talon, a look that asked, 'what are you gonna do to me?'

Kale frowned. "I'm not going to do anything. We're going away for awhile. However, we will most likely be hunted down. If we are caught, you will be killed, and I will have a worse fate." with that said, he headed for the door. "Let's go."
"Goodbye Kale. I'm sorry to have to do this." Talon stated, frowning.
Kale shrugged. "Later, be sure to find someone else to pick a fight with soon. You'll be bored if you don't."

Cayden took one last wistful look at Kaida before obediently following Kale. "Yes sir..." His young yet beautiful voice answered.
Kaida watched him go. She was broken, Kale left her! She wanted to cry, and wished vampires could shed tears. She looked at Talon, waiting for him to do something to her.

Kale closed the door behind them. 'Goodbye Kaida, we'll be together again, so don't worry.' he silently told her. "Run fast boy, I won't slow down for you." He ran off deeper into the woods.

Kaida sighed. 'Alright.'
Cayden nodded but then he just disappeared. He gulped, but ran fast. He ran right in sync with the older one, his newborn power letting him. Soon they had been running for at least five hours, at least in another country by now.

Kale continued to run, not stopping until they came to a rain forest. He slowed down. "This is good, our scent will be near to none in here."
The other vampires left soon after Kale departed, with words of hate and anger towards him. Talon just stood there silently. Until it was just them. "I'm sorry, I forced Kale out. He couldn't take you without putting you in danger. He doesn't want that."

Cayden gasped, falling to his knees and breathing hard. He said not one word, but was once again thirsty.
Kaida sighed. "okay." She said, before turning and leaving him.

"You can come to me anytime, just think of me as your older brother." Talon stated, sitting on the couch.
Kale turned. "You're tired? You do know that vampires can run for a week without getting tired, right? By the way, your food supply is now going on a diet. We hunt animals from here on out. I can't share my blood with you either, my blood is for my mate only. Understand?"

Kaida looked back. "Alright."
Cayden gulped and stood, ready for another run. He nodded his head, his small and naive eyes scared, "Okay Mr. Kale...animal blood diet. Gotcha." His angelic voice squeaked out. He felt scared as hell, but could do nothing. "I'm sorry.sir...I'm a burden..if you are gonna kill me..make it fast." He said. His white blonde hair hung in front of his crimson eyes. He ignored his thirst, though it raged within his throat. He had to constantly open his mouth to let his fangs stick out, not used to them yet. his slender and small body looked at Kale, scared. He though, had no family - and this was the closest thing he had.

"Don't you think I would have done it by now? It sure would save me a lot of trouble." Kale replied. "And just call me Kale. I don't need formalities." he looked around for an animal, listened for one and waited for the smell.

His young and paled complexion took that in, eyes downcast. "Okay mis- I mean Kale." He said. He had always grown up using formal lines. Not knowing what animals smelled like, he only caught the aroma of a Binturong. The small and furry animal was hiding in the trees, though had no where to go. Cayden became tense and evil looking, but didn't attack, his eyes glowing bright blue in thirst.

Kale found his prey and soon he had it pined under him, drinking its blood. It was a deer. Soon the deer was dead and he got up and went back to the boy. "Hurry up and hunt. We still got a ways to go before we're safe for a bit."

Cayden nodded. He quickly ran and downed three deer, blood dripping from his mouth and chin when he returned. Wiping his mouth and eating the blood off his fingers. "I'm ready Kale..." He said softly, knowing it didn't matter if he was ready or not. The animal was satisfying, for he didn't really hunt humans. His semi-gold eyes looked at Kale, waiting.
