Cassandra carried Aquaria in a small cave created by some large rocks. She put her down there and untied her hands. She motioned for her to be quiet.

Aquaria nodded and smiled in thanks. She rubbed her wrist where the rope had been tied to tightly. Aman began to track. He knew a vampire had been there, recently, too, and had been the one that took his captive. He knew it also hadn't been the girl's companion.

Cassandra turned away from the angel and walked out of the cave. She sniffed the wind to see where Aman had gone.

Aman caught Cassandra's trail and began to follow it up to the cave. The vial of powder lay on the ground next to a hunting knife in his camp. Aquaria sat in the cave, taking deep breaths to calm herself. Sanvi had caught Aman's trail and started to follow it back to the camp. "Garin, I caught the trail!" she called.

Cassandra smelled that Aman was coming to her, so she waited for him.
Garin followed after her back to the camp.

They soon reached the deserted camp. Sanvi looked around and found some more of the rope that Aman had bound Aquaria with. She also found the vial of powder. Some of it had spilled on the ground, so the vial was no longer full. Sanvi motioned for Garin to come look at her finds. Aman kept following Cassandra's scent.

"This doesn't look good," Garin remarked.
Cassandra waited.

Sanvi held up the vial of powder. "What is this stuff?" she asked. "I found it on the ground, open, and there wasn't much left." Aman drew his sword as the scent got stronger. He prepared for a fight, though he really only wanted to get Aquaria back.

"Let me see," Garin replied, walking over.
Cassandra still waited.

Aman looked up and saw the vampire girl. He decided not to press his luck and tried to go around her, heading for the cave he saw beyond her. Sanvi passed Garin the vial of powder.

Cassandra seemed to disappear as she moved to grab Aman and throw him to the ground.
Garin took it from her and looked it over. "This looks like a lightsstone..."

Aman stood, surprised. He tried to fight Cassandra, though he knew he had at least two broken ribs. "Let me get to my sister!" he cried, trying to fool her. "What does it mean, though?" Sanvi asked. "If it was mostly empty..." Her face changed into a look of shock.

"You don't think...?" Garin asked, afraid of the answer.
"I did all that to get you here and you expect her to let you go?" Cassandra asked with a twisted smile as her features changed so she looked more vampiric. "I'm thristy." She lifted him up by his neck.

Aman knew that his end was near and pulled his sword off his back. He swung at her, trying to kill her or at least distract her. Sanvi nodded grimly. "We should probably find her," she said, though she was crying now, for Aquaria's sake, afraid that Aman had used the powder to create a lightsstone.

"Wait a minute," garin said and sniffed the air. He started to run. "Come on."
Cassandra's other hand flew up and grabbed the wrist on his sword hand. She squeezed to get him to drop it.
