I know what a bloody hug is.

Slowly a vain began to pulse upon her head, and that tint of embarrassment upon her face. Was to be replaced with frustration and annoyance. The hand which she used to smack him. Was now used to grab his face and keep him at arms length. As well as his assault away from her.

At least that is how she viewed the hug. An assault upon her personal bubble. Be it honest or not.

As to why you believe you have a right to hug me. Is what is unknown!

Ryugi stood, ready to really kick this fight into the next level. He spread his arms out to the side, his voice echoing across the empty vastness of the void.



Immediately Ryugi's eyes would go white and burn with white flames and his hair would begin to sway as if blown by an invisable current of air.



Flames would erupt around his body as more energy was sucked into his body, his charge rate doubling as the energy raged around him, the flames being visable from a single platform high above Damrius.



The flames raged and spun around Ryugi, his body appearing within the flames like a black sillouette with white flaming eyes!



The flames pulsed harder around Ryugi as he gripped Ragnarok and leapt off the melting platform as it began to fall. The intense heat around him allowed him to control where he was falling, and would allow him to fly around without wings. It would also scorch an opponent quite easily without Ryugi even having to touch them, meaning close range combat was even more deadly.

On a side note, Ryugi didn't actually HAVE to say all that stuff, but he always thought it made it sound cooler and more dramatic. It may have been a serious fight, but he was entitled to have fun and enjoy himself. (7)

(9) Ryugi fell faster, spurred onward by the escaping heat of his flames. As he fell, he moved Ragnarok into a prepatory position, ready to strike soon...

Almost...

(11) [7] Ryugi grinned as he was finally ready to unleash his next string of attacks. As he neared Damrius, he was fully alert and, Ragnarok came down from his shoulder, and spun around to strike...

...but not at Damrius!! Ryugi's bluff had worked!! Ragnarok's blade collided with the floating platform and cut cleanly through it as Ryugi ducked off to the side, bearly missing the edge of the platform! The sword would decimate the floating platform and cause it to fall slowly as the rune on the top began to flicker and burn out as the edge of its delicate ring had been cut by Ryugi's sword.

As Dame's little ball of energy fired the bolt towards Ryugi, his body was hit, the electricity doing damage before the energy was transfered to Ragnarok. Ryugi's first injury in the battle had taken place. However, the trade off was well worth the damage. The two charge turns he got from his Overdrive ability, plus the two he got from Damrius' attack came together with his others to form 15. Ryugi's maximum capacity.

Ryugi's red aura was hidden behind the guise of his flaming Overdrive, and therefore unseen by his opponent, as well as the new addition that came with having 10 turns of charge held in his body. It had been seen in another battle in this strange place, but never seen by Damrius. However, the temperature around Ryugi in a radius of 5 feet from him in every direction now stood around a staggering 2,000F degrees.

However, Ryugi suddenly stopped and floated in midair as he watched Damrius fall, or beging to fall, from his platform. If Damrius was watching him, he would suddenly see 95% of the flames disapear from around Ryugi, but if he were to get closer, he would notice the temperature in that 5 foot zone had increaded to nearly 4,500F degrees. More than enough to burn skin and clothing, and even enough to melt solid stone into magma...

Ryugi's eyes narrowed and his right arm snapped foreward, the two extra turns of energy he'd gathered this turn literally being pulled right in front of his hand. Energy tendrils could be seen flowing backwards away from his palm as his voice shot across the distance between the two fighters.



Ryugi shot foreward, the energy tendrils flowing behind his right arm as he sped towards Damrius!



Ryugi burst forward as a red blur, moving nearly too fast for the naked eye to follow as he rocketed towards the platform Damrius was on, until he collided with it! The intense heat around his body would melt the rock into magma in areas as the rune failed and the platform cracked into pieces. Then, as the platform would begin to fall and break apart, Ryugi would spin around, still moving backwards at incredible speed, engulfed in flames, his eyes burning with white flames, both palms now aimed towards the VERY soon to be falling Damrius, and bits of platform.



Five energy blasts from each palm would erupt away from Ryugi and fly towards Damrius' mostly helpless form at nearly 40 feet per second! These were condensed balls of flame energy that would explode with a force about equal to half of a hand grenade, but obviously without the dangerous schrapnel. The searing heat would make up for it though, as well as the force, which could easily send a body flying with concussive wounds such as shocked lungs and other organs. But these were not meant to kill. They were meant to disable, burn, and send the target flying. And in this void-like area, they had another function...to disorient Damrius long enough for him to lose his bearings, allowing Ryugi to make another strike. (15) [5]

Unknown to Damrius, Ryugi's Overdrive ability allowed Ryugi to double his charge each turn to 2 instead of just one for a limited ammount of time. Ryugi may have been at his maximum charge rate of 15, but he'd immediately used the two turns of charge he'd recieved that turn, meaning he hadn't held them in his body to add to his charge rate. This meant that as long as Ryugi used the new energy quickly enough, and didn't hold it within his body, he could make use of it without the side effects of holding too much energy in his body or sword at once. This would come in useful in situations where he needed to use a little energy to defend himself if not wanting to release his held energy...

If Dame was hoping to avoid Ryugi's attack, he'd be VERY dissapointed to find that as he jetted off of the other platform, to attempt to escape them, the blasts would suddenly shoot around the crumbling platform and streak towards Dame's new position at the same speed. It seemed they weren't unguided projectiles...

As Ryugi continued to fall backwards, his palms would glow once more, and then fire four smaller balls of energy that glowed white, and streaked towards him as well, following the blasts from before.



These smaller blasts would explode loudly enough to temporarily deafen Dame, and would flash brightly enough to temporarily blind him as well, even in he managed to close his eyes. Even if he tried to cover his ears, he'd still have difficulty hearing for quite some time as well, a loud buzzing or ringing lasting for quite some time also. Now if Dame fell, he wouldn't be able to see, OR hear...(15) [4]

That was the lucky break Ryugi was waiting for! As the blasts exploded, he pushed his flames to the limit and rocketed forward at incredible speed towards the resulting explosions. The explosions would not obly mask his sight, but his sound as well, making it nearly impossible for Dame to realize where he was and what he was doing, as well as losing Ryugi's battlecries in them, making it impossible to tell where he came from.



As he sped across the gap, he whipped Ragnarok out, and, knowing that Dame's armor could withstand the hit, sent a full strength overhead downward strike straight into Dame's chestplate! He knew the armor could take the hit, but it would deform horribly, the metal bending in to restrict breathing, as well as create discomfort from the smashed armor's shape...

The heat around Ryugi would be burning Dame quite badly as Ryugi approached, and be even worse as he hit. The force from the strike would cause Dame to be shot down through the platform he was standing on, his body shattering the platform and dropping through it to fall hundreds of feet to the next underlaying one as Ryugi followed him down, ready to strike again.
