"Oh, we're pretty much done." he said, with a shrug.

He looked over at the dogs barking at each other, and laughed once.

He then turned to look at Amnity again.
"So you have questions, eh? Go ahead, ask away."

Amnity shrugged, holding Vosa's leash tightly even if he was trying vainly to pull her around like he does with his previous owners. "Nothing really...Uhh..." She looked across the street and scratched her head, trying to think of something to ask him. "How old are you now by the way? 20? 18?"

"I'm actually 28..." he said crossing his arms.

He looked over at Vosa again. He smirked, watching him try to pull her.
"Poor dog thinks he can move you."

He then looked at Amnity.
"Do you have any other questions?" he asked with an eyebrow raised.

Amnity's eyes widened in shock when he said he was 28. "Oh my God....You're old!" She actually thought that she was older then him, not maturer than him, but at least older. Vosa whined that he couldn't reach a garbage can that was so close, hoping that his master could at least move a little bit more to the left so he could reach it. "Not really...But damn...You're really old..."

"Really old? I'm not much older than you..." he said, slumping over.
"...I'm also much more sane, too ironicly..." he added with an eyebrow raised.

"I just look young for my age..." he said, an eye twitching.

"Yeah, alright grandpa." Amnity said sarcastically as she made her way around the curb, Vosa following behind her. She looked through a few store windows as she passed by, but something caught her attention the most. A...Cook book... She stared at it for a few seconds, then entered the book store and began looking around. The store manager was a bit perturbed by the customer and the dog.

"Excuse me ma'am, we don't allow pets in the book section of the store." The man said in a rather annoyed tone.

Amnity looked down at her dog, then at the man, then back at her dog. "Oh, I'm sorry. Well, then, why don't I just leave him with you? Don't worry, he's very tame...I think..." She let go of his leash, and immediately Vosa jumped on the counter and began slobbering all over the store clerk's face. The soldier chuckled, then motioned for Zahzi to follow her. She went to the cooking section of the store and found a variety of cook books. "...Exotic cuisine...How to bake..." She took one off the shelf and began flipping through the pages.

"Grandpa...Sure..." he said, rolling his eyes.

"The electricity coming from your heart pulses at the speed of an average 25 year old...So don't go pointing any fingers..." he said, following her into the book store.

He looked around the book store after her. Next to the cooking section was a Miscellaneous Section.
"Hmm...'How to Control Anger'...'Supressing Rage'..." he mumbled to himself.
He looked over at Amnity and sighed.
"These books would be helpful, but I know if I say something, I'm going to be shot..." he thought to himself.

"I was created 25 years ago...So yes, I suppose I would be 25." Amnity said while flipping through the pages of one of the baking cook books. She put it back on the shelf and continued to look around, then suddenly a certain book caught her eyes. "Mother's great dinners..." She muttered the title to herself as she took the book from the shelf. The soldier traced the word 'Mother' in the front page. She looked a t the ground, trying to see if she remembered her mother...Anything about her mother..."Zahzi...A what's a mother?"

Zahzi took a few moments to answer this. It was quite the broad question...
"Well...A mother is one of the two people who bring you into existance...
In most cases, they are also the ones who watch over you into maturity..."

Amnity said nothing. She mouthed the word mother, trying to bury the meaning into her head. She traced the letters that spelled out the word 'mother' on the book. The soldier tried hard to relate to it....But she couldn't, and it showed in the cluelessness she had about the whole thing. She scratched her head, feeling a bit frustrated and depressed that she couldn't remember anyone like that...

Zahzi looked at another book, labled 'Peaceful Alternatives To Fightning.'
"...Oh, I want to burn this..." he said out loud.

He then looked over at Amnity.
"Is something the matter?" he asked, with an eyebrow raised.

"Does everyone have a mother?" Amnity asked, still looking down at the book with hope. "I mean...Because I don't remember mine..."

"Not everyone, no. Some are born without ever seeing their parents.
I was fortunate to at least know my parents for five years."
he said looking away.

"And most children take after their parents...Meaning yours were most likely soldiers as well."
he said with a smile.

"...Although most likely gods of weaponry..." he said with a shiver.

Amnity looked down at the book, then sighed, putting it back on the shelf. "I was a test tube baby...I think they just took any old DNA and created me..." She was suddenly depressed... "And that isn't even the worst part...The worst part is that she didn't claim me...When I was in the hospital, she didn't claim me. If she had....Then I wouldn't have been taken away and altered..."

"Somehow, I doubt your mother would have abandoned you." he said, looking at her.

"Most likely, you were just taken. There had been a string of that occuring when I was a child.
There is a strong possibility you were one of those children who were taken at birth...
he said, with a reassuring smile.

"...It's not the greatest thing to hope for, but it's better than thinking you were rejected."
