"In theory, we should be able to lock onto a strong power source," Mordranna mused, contemplating the dark orb ahead. Bantha squad's survivors jacked their astromechs into the banks of the Lusankya, Home One and the other larger ships, feeding them targeting information. Indeed, it seemed as though generating enough power to destroy Yavin Four would require immense energy on the Black Void's part. And, most of that energy seemed to be devoted to cutting it's way through the planet's defenders. Whatever happened, the Black Void would not be given that chance.
"Osiris standing by, general," came a comm from the captain of the ship of the same name. The Squires formed up near the starboard of the Republic owned ISD. "Good to hear, Admiral." Mordranna chimed in. "I'm going to need a diversion, Osiris. I want you to concentrate your fire on any power surges on that thing. I suspect that those are the devices creating the black hole-like anomalies." "Copy, General Brunhildt,"
(( Hrm ... FP: is it too soon for this yet, or about on time? ))

((mount an attack if you want...but don't destroy it...its kind of a key point towards the end))
"You were the one that wouldn't back down," Imperius said, circling around Neb.
"I disarmed, you pressed. I'll fight for my life if I need to," he said.

(( *noddle* Will do. I was thinking more along the lines of crippling it. Namely it's void-making capabilites ... or is that also plot-critical? 3nodding And, yeah, Heretic ... I too tend to be conscious of god-modding. sweatdrop Kind of easy to over-do when you have a fleet to command! ))
The Osiris closed in with the Black Void, accompanied by Mordranna's Squires, as well as Sea's Dream. "General: sensors detect a huge power build-up along a few degrees north of the equator," "Fire on my command,"

(( gotcha ))
"Ok ... now!" Mordranna commanded. The spectacle outside her cockpit was astounding, as scores of green lances sailed towards the forebodding Black Void, each one striking the specified target as the Osiris made it's pass. "I think that crippled it," However, the Osiris's commander didn't seem as optimistic. "There still seems to be a reading on it," Mordranna frowned at that. "We'll go on ahead, then, and investigate," she said, forming the Squires on her.
Sure enough, the device seemed to be damaged, but still very much live. "Yes, an energy reading, for sure," She then reached out with the Force. "And, we probably shouldn't stick around very long, Squires, fall back to the Osiris,"

"Hope is much like fire. While you exhibit a spark, unfortunately there is too much fuel present. A fire cannot exist without air, and while you may have changed, I fear that it isn't a true one. Your entire life has been built around multiple personalities, and hear this: I will destroy Imperious. I have only set a tourniquette around your wounded arm, the poison still lingers. Imperius is running, using you as a shield, and if I let off now, you will succumb to him once again. You must understand Feron, Imperius must be destroyed. I will either save you Feron, or die trying. Now, Imperius, quit running and show yourself," Neb replied.

One uneventful trip later, the outlaws reached their destination. The Auric Runner set down on the dusty, rocky world of Stoga on the outskirts of Reillo, the largest city on planet. The repulorlifts of the vessel kicked up a cloud of sand as she made planet fall. With a whir of hydraulics, the landing Ramp extended and Cale stepped out into the bright sunlight sporting his customary shades. "Welcome to Stoga. The one planet farther from the bight side of the Galaxy than Tatooine. Looks a little prettier though."

"Then I'll see you in hell," Imperius growled as he flipped through the air and lashed out with his saber.
