"Y-you can come too, if you want, P-pyro" Yukiko called from behind Wanda. John looked up at Yukiko, with a look of curiosity on his face. The one person who would have a stalemate with me in a battle, and she's scared silly of me, John thought to himself. "No thanks," he called to her, "I'm thinking about finding out who sent those machines. If everything goes alright I'll be busy for a couple of hours. The rest of you can do what you want. But please keep those people out of our house. That's what led to me burning down the house in the first place" After shooting Pietro a dark glance he continued to play with the fire. Takening on these machines by meself may not be a good idea... maybe I'll just start a bon-fire, or rob a bank. I'll figure it out later, John thought to himslef.

John looked up to see Remy. "Hey what's going on? It's good to see you. You're right it's been a while, since we've seen each other. As for where these sentinals are comming from, your guess is as good as mine. It sounds like something to do, though. It'll be just like old times. The two most explosive mutants around going out huting. What do you think? You up for an adventure?" He asked Remy. A big smile had come across his face, and the old spark in his eyes lit up.

"John how do you know Remy?" John looked at Noko. "We're just old friends... We use to work together a good while ago. Before I came into the brotherhood." He gave a weak smile.

Jacen had only waited about a half hour for Xavier to regain his composure and join the young man outside. In that time, Jacen had found some dried up kindling to use for a makeshift pyre. The moment he was growing impatient, Xavier decided to show his face.

"Bout time. I was wondering if I was going to have to do this myself," Jacen said jokingly, which gained Xavier's disapproval. Jacen uttered a small apology and let Xavier sit and ponder for a moment.

After a moment of silence, Jacen spoke up. "Give me the word, Professor, and I'll light this up for you," he said, still in pain from the broken bones in his hand and arm.

"Yes. Go on with it." At Xavier's command, Jacen thought for a brief minute, concentrated a highly heated orb of energy and set it down next to the kindling, setting it ablaze. All while he did this, Xavier took notice of Jacen's spaghetti-like arm.

"Your arm is broken, son," said Xavier, "You should go see Jean or Hank."

"I know," replied Jacen as he felt a shot of pain fire up his right arm, "I'm heading there right now. I'm sure you won't let this fire get too out of control." As he walked away from Xavier, he issued a small apology for the situation and started indoors. As he walked inside, he made his way back through the basement, to the spots where Cassandra's blood still lay dormant. He sighed in resignment of what he had done and started to head towards the medical facility when he heard someone shouting for him. It was Kim and she seemed very relieved to see Jacen up and walking.

"I've been looking all over for you, mister," Kim said as he turned to face her, "I was a little worried since you decided to stay behind.

"Yea.." Jacen let his sentence fragment trail off before he spoke up again. "I'm heading to the medical facility right now," he said as he painfully held his busted arm up, "See? Care to accompany me?" Kim looked a little disgusted at the site of Jacen's shattered arm, but her concern drove her to accompany him to see the good doctor.

Pietro stood and brushed himself off, muttering something about how hard it was to get dirt out of crushed velvet. Little sentinel parts littered the ground, and a great number of humans were stumbling throughout the city, confused either by the brief battle or because of waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much alcohol the night before. In other words, the party was over, and Pietro was eager to glitz up the Brotherhood estate with the loot he and Gen managed to steal the night before.

"Well... if Gambit and Pyro are through with their little reunion here... I say we blow this joint. New Orleans rocks but if we let the sun hit those goddamn urine stain this place will become hell on earth..." he said, a little smirk on his lips as he was feeling mischevious for some reason.
