Hidden Flame: Hisakata [Orimara], Kan and Watari [Uchiha], Hikai "You..." the Kage starts as Hikai just growls under his breath. Kan eyes the Kage cautiously as the girl covers her face with her hands. "You want me then?" The Kage asks in a surprised shriek. Kan deflates, having wasted what preparation he'd made to fight the Kage as he tries to kill Hikai in a fit of rage. Hikai's nose flares in angher when he notices the Kage hadn't turned red in anger but embarrassment. Hikai didn't even hear when Kanshin spoke delicately from the other side of the double doors he'd been snatched into. Hikai's temperature escalates as he tries not to spit a stream of fire at the Kage. The village leader's daughter just shakes her head and frowns at her father through her parted fingers.
"You said that Hikai was mines, Dad. I can't believe you would take him from me!" The young girl hisses at her father who just shrugs and sighs.Kan decides to be the one to open the door, since the others were busy. He grabs the knob and turns it before opening the door that would be locked on Kanshin's side of it. His silver eyes dim to gray as he looks her over. So this was Kanshin. The Orimara steps aside to allow the Cloud ninja to enter if she wanted.
"It's not my fault if Hikai is interested in men. Your papa, Alyager, will find you a suitable replacement husband, dear." The Kage says calmly. Hikai begins to walk over to the Kage and give him a piece of his mind when the scent of Kanshin's heat finally pools through the opened door and into his nostrils. He snorts, folds his arms, and then turns his head until staring at the wall. He didn't want to do something to upset Kanshin because then he would have to deal with Kikyo's wrath. Since he wasn't one for fighting girls, he'd be beaten way before she even raised a hand to him. Not to mention, as annoyed as he was with the Kage and his entire village, his daughter was present. He needed to just let the annoying assumptions of the Kage drop. The Kage notices Hikai's change in temper and looks to the opened door. As the heat coming off of Hikai lowers by a few degrees but remains high, Alyager smiles happily at Kanshin. "An Enkou from Hidden Cloud?" The Kage asks walking over to Kanshin. His daughter uncovers her face and tries to sneak up behind Hikai. "I am glad to see that you are well, Kanshin. What a wondrous day! We not only have the lovely Enkou, Kanshin here but Hikai as well~!" The Kage walks over to Kanshin outstretches a hand to shakes hers. "Did you perhaps venture here with Hikai and Kan?" The Kage asks, peering into the hall before speaking again, "Did all of you come with Hikai and Kan? Would you three also be members of Swords of the Crescent Moon?" Words = ?

Hidden Flame Kikyo Soshi & Ӄanshin Enkou In a profound sense every man has two halves to his being; he is not one person so much as two persons trying to act in unison. ________________________________________ Kikyo could see the sadness and pain it brought Kekkaishi just to know he had gotten her that upset by leaving her with Hido. Plus... That look. Why was he so good at giving that look of his? He always seemed to give that, "The world is yours and you are supreme" look when ever he knew he was in deep, which in turn gave the female Soshi that slight pain of the annoying emotion known only as guilt. She huffed and calmed down before she leaned against a wall. "Baka... I'll let you off this time-- But this is a warning! Got it! You know I don't give you very many warnings!" She huffed one more time and frowned in annoyance while mummbling something about going soft. She almost sensed the toughts of what was going through Kekkaishi's mind and chose to ignore that and the comment he made. She knew full well he was giving credit where credit was due. Truth be told... Kikyo had actually considered buying one of those tail and ear sets but then talked herself out since she didn't want to loose her reputation of being mean and scary. Fluffy tails just don't make for a very terrifying woman...
Kanshin listened to the two. It was nice that Kekkaishi thought so highly of her outfit, especailly since she knew he was one to trust. As the two Soshis talked, she listened as best as she could to what was said behind the door. She was very confused as to what was going on until Kan opened the door. Kanshin went from her surprised and clueless expression to one of joy and warmth when she saw the group within the room had not started any fights. Hikai seemed fine, if not a little miffed about this marriage thing. She heard what the Kage said about Hikai liking men and blushed bright red as an image popped into her head... She shook her head before she wore an embarrassed expression and held her hands up. "Ah, Kage-sama, you have always flatered my family and I so since the day we met~! I hate to say it, but you have Hikai-kun mixed up for some one else~! I don't believe he is a man lover~! I think he is just the type to know what he wants and not bend to please others if it is not honest business~! Isn't that how it's supposed to be in a marriage, honest and not simply trying to make the other happy while you suffer? I'm sure your darling will find a cute little boy her age better suited to her than cranky old Hikai-kun~!" She said the last part jokingly towards the girl with her nose wrinkled slightly and a cutesy smile on her face. She walked into the room and shook her head with a grin. "Ah! As a matter of fact, I did not exactly come here with Hikai-kun and Kan-san. In fact, this is my first time getting to meet him~!" She nodded her head to Kan as a quick greeting that should last until she had the time to propperly introduce herself. "Actually, I had been traveling Kikyo-sempai when I saw Hido-kun~! I stayed with him and Kikyo-sempai, the girl outside with the gold eyes, came here with Kan-san and Hikai-kun since she doesn't like Hido-kun too much. I'm just a friend of Hikai-kun's. We met at the Chuunins~! Any ways, if I had any talent with a sword, perhaps I would join the Cresent Moon, but sadly, I've never really been one for fighting. I'm sure you remember how my parents were~!" She accepted the Kage's hand and shook it lightly and in a friendly manner, still managing a bit of respect as she did so. "While I am here, I would like to apologize for the actions that took place within your village durring the whole thing with Santa Clause, Mister Kage-sama. Sadly, I was one of the people who partook in luring him from his safe spot, and doing so I know I did some damage to the village. I saw that the buildings were fixed, but I still feel such guilt for my actions against a fellow fire-user and their people. Therefore, I would like to make it up to you and pay for the damage to not only the buildings, but what ever goods those busininesses had were destroyed. My family has had a few fires in the past within our own business, so I know how much damage they can cause. Name what ever amount of money you feel they need and I will be sure the money is sent to them." In a way, she was acting as a decoy to get the Kage from the topic of Hikai and him getting married. Hopefully this would give Hikai the chance to calm down. In the mean time, he began playing with a small flame in her hand. She remembered he had eaten some a while back, so maybe some "food" would calm him down. The little red and white cloud of a flame swirled in her palm as she tried to get it just right without losing control. Kikyo listened to what all was said between the Kage, Kanshin, Hikai, and Kan. When she was mentioned, she nodded her head to show acknowlegement. However, she stayed at her spot outside of the room. She had no connections with the village besides the whole Santa thing, but Kanshin was handling that. "Honestly, I am not affiliated with any organizations. Kanshin and I are a bit of a two man squad when Kekkaishi isn't doing various missions on his own. The only title I may ever own is Demon of Heaven, but even that may die off since Heaven is now Asgard." She stuck her tongue out lightly, hating having to call home a different name. "The only swords I know to fight with is the one my father gave me and a keyblade that has gotten me into more trouble than helped me out."

Kekkaishi Soshi He could not help but smile at Kikyo as she spoke. so she gave him a warning, he wondered just how long this peacefull time would last. he heard her murmurs about going soft and he agreed Kanshin had become quite the good influence on his young fiance. he then tried to hide his smile as he thought of her in that strangely tight bunny suit he had seen on one f his journeys trough Kamakura town, he wondered if she would looked embarrassed, he remembered the one time she did look embarrassed it was actual when the gynecologist first called him. out of reflex he moved to the right as if she had thrown something at him just like during that time. he smiled as he heard her name,Kanshin had brought him out of his revere and he stepped into the room and bowed. " i am Kekkaishi Soshi the future kage of hidden heaven, my skills with the blades are weak and i only trust my Kusari-gama, i belong to no team and cannot until i am sure they stand for the same things i do." he then thought about it and added. " and i am the one that came up with the idea for destroying flame in the first place, Kanshin holds no blame and i would ask you do not make her pay anything she has already punished herself" He carried himself just like he did against Santa clause his whole being extruding the confidence of a born leader, his hands though lax near enough to his waist that he would be able to react if needed, this was his buisness pose, and his eyes showed no trace of the kind man that Kikkyo and Kanshin had come to know. one of his vectors could not help but move his hair revealing the horns on his head. 311 words

Hidden Flame Kikyo Soshi & Ӄanshin Enkou In a profound sense every man has two halves to his being; he is not one person so much as two persons trying to act in unison. ________________________________________ Kikyo let out a low, deep growl at how Kekkaishi introduced himself. "I'm sorry. You ment to say "future husband to the future Kage of Hidden Heaven." I'll let the slip slide this time, but next time I would be fully prepared to face a wrath that would make hell look like paradise." She wasn't kidding this time. She was dead set on becoming Kage, and the thought of losing that to any one, even Kekkaishi, was enough to get her to a dangerous competitiveness that could only end in one person losing their life. Kanshin sensed the danger in the situation and quickly stepped between Kekkaishi and Kikyo. "Kekkaishi-kun, stay out of this." Kanshin was actually whining as she asked for him to keep out of what she was doing. "I know you mean well, Kekkaishi-kun, but I'm a big girl. I can do business myself. My parents were good friends to the Kage, and the Kage was good friends to us. It is only fair that friends help friends when need be. Mama and Papa taught me to be good to those who have been good to you. I want to up hold that saying, especailly now that I am in charge of their business. Besides, I have a lot of money. You need to save yours for Kikyo-sempai and the wedding you promised her before you met me." There was a mature tone to her voice as she spoke, which was very rare. The childish expression of slight defensiveness still lingered on her face, but something about it seemed much less childish than usual. She was dead serious about giving money to the small Flame Country. She looked to Kage and smiled lightly. "Those of the same element share a special bond due to simular nature. I have seen Kage-sama as my Uncle figure since I was very little. I would very much like to help my extended family as much as I can since this seems the closest to home that I have felt in a very long time."

kekkaishi soshi Kekkaishi smiled it was the one thing they always argued about and for some reason it was one thing they would always fight about. " no i meant the future Kage of Heaven. after all my beloved i will get there" he winked at her, he loved that fiery attitude it was the other reason he said it, he hated it when she thought badly of herself, and she was dammed proud of being the demon of heaven he would never take it from her. he then looked at kanshin and listened to her talk, he wondered if she knew that the shoshi where elemental masters. " i guess i can fight my regular urges... and kanshin i never said i was going to pay for the damage. i belive that santa went overboard with he damaging the whole damn world after leaving." he seemed a little pissed at santa, 148 words

Hidden Flame: Hisakata [Orimara], Kan and Watari [Uchiha], Hikai The Kage watches everything happen, so do Kan and Hikai. The Orimara gives a casual nod in return after watching Kanshin a while, feeling obliged to. After a while the Kage's daughter begins twirling her index fingers around the heat that could be seen coming off of Hikai still, the dragon covering his nose with his forearm and eyes content on the flame Kanshin was making. Hikai then snorts before the Kage speaks, "Where to begin? Hikai may not seem that way but who knows?" The man shrugs and the heat coming off of Hikai increases quickly before going back down. "But for you, I will take your word for it. And I suppose that Mina will just have to find another amazingly skilled man... who happens to be a dragon... and is an exact clone of Hikai." Alyager muttered the last part. "The Swords of the Crescent Moon is a group that is based on swords?" The Kage looks to Kan who shakes his head slowly.
"The original group may have been all about swords, but we aren't. The name just carries over from a group we took over the management of." Hikai sighs before nodding.
"We don't just fight with swords. If we did then all the stupid brats in our group wouldn't be there. Our organization is just a group of people who need a group or place for them. Since I don't have a home, I live there with the other dragons in our organization. You don't need sword skills to be a part of it... but if you have other alternatives than I wouldn't suggest you join. Our leader is despicable." The Kage laughs and claps his hands.
"A group that follows a leader they really don't like? SCM is quite the organization. At any rate, Kanshin, there is no need to try and help with repairs financially. Hikai and Kan's group tend to the repairs of the village and do not require a fee. Our village is scarred but things will be better soon. in truth, I just wanted Hikai to come here again and give us a show as fantastic as last time--"
"That wasn't a show, old man! You were all chasing me and acted like you'd lost your minds! I was trying to survive!" The tiny girl hugs Hikai from behind which makes him growl lowly. He glances back at her and just stands there, trapped in her hold by the knee. "It wasn't a show," Hikai mutters.
"If you want to help us, then I do have a task that needs doing. It's not directly related to this village, however," Kan states, interrupting and looking at Kanshin and then Kekkaishi. Words = ?

Hidden Flame Kikyo Soshi & Ӄanshin Enkou In a profound sense every man has two halves to his being; he is not one person so much as two persons trying to act in unison. ________________________________________ Kanshin looked to the Kage and giggled lightly about what he said about Hikai. "Ah, that would be a very hard task, but you'd be very surprised. I could have sworn I saw a double ganger of Kikyo-sempai, or what she used to look like. Maybe it was just m imagination." "We had been traveling for a week straight with little sleep or food. I think you were going insane from hunger and lack of sleep." Kanshin thought deeply for a few seconds before she shook her head. "I wouldn't call it inane, but it was a little startling. I was convinced it was you for a moment since this was right after we changed our looks." Kikyo looked to Kan with a lightly arched eyebrow. "Hmm? No need for real skill with a sword, eh? Well then, I may have to consider joining one of these days... So long as you aren't a bunch of criminals like Akatsuki." Kanshin seemed to sigh lightly. "Not all Akatsuki are criminals and rouge like you think, sempai...." Kanshin then looked up in thought again. "Although, it would be nice being part of a group besides the two and three of us. Besides, those jackets you two have are pretty~!" She giggled lightly with a wide grin as she said the last part. Kikyo sighed and shook her head. "What is it with you and clothes. You're such a rich, girly girl stereotype. It's amazing I've been able to keep people from kidnapping you as often as you have been. You're worse than the kids being offered candy if they go into a van..." Kanshin looked to Kikyo with a confused expression. "You're not supposed to do that? Well, I guess I should have figured out with how scary that guy looked and all... But he gave me ack after a few minutes. He said I talk too much." Kikyo just shook her head and sighed, not even bothering with adding commentary. Kanshin looked o the Kage again and pouted lightly. "It might not be needed, Kage-sama, but I'm already thinking of getting a little apartment or something for here, any ways... Kikyo-sempai's house in Asgard was completely destroyed by giants-" "I managed to save a few things that are in storage, but, yeah, pretty well leveled. It's fine, I guess. Never really lived in my house after my folks died long time ago, any ways. Lived in it even less once I became a ninja. I think the only reason I did live in it for a little after I got my head band was because I was learning my clan's techniques." "And Hidden Cloud is pretty well leveled all together. There isn't a single trace of anything from what I've heard... So both of us need a place to stay when we get tired of traveling. I really love how pretty it is, and every one here is so nice. I suppose knowing Hikai-kun comes here often is just an added bonus if I do get an apartment here." She smiled to Hikai and went to playing with the flame in her hand. Kanshin tilted her head when Kan stated there was something she and Kekkaishi could do to help. "Hmm? Well, it would be nice to help you guys out since I see you guys as friends now." Kikyo lifted an eyebrow. "Why is it every one becomes your friend, whether you really know them or not?" Kanshin looked to Kikyo and gave a light shrug before she turned her attention back to Kan. "Any ways, if you need my help, then I'm happy to give it, Kan-kun."

Hidden Flame: Hisakata [Orimara], Kan and Watari [Uchiha], Hikai The Kage listens as Kikyo and Kanshin chat and finds it rather amusing; he even sprouts a genuine smile. When Kanshin mentions the SCM cloaks that Hikai and Kan wear, they look down at them. They were a perfect example of the different groups within SCM. Kan sporting the cloak of Team Konomi that is silver with gold designs and Hikai the cloak of Dragon Coven that is black with gold designs. The designs and symbols on them slightly differ to show their specific group mark but the SCM mark is on all uniforms. Once the conversation turns to Kikyo and her home, Hikai calms down again. His temperature goes down to a little below his normal as he listens contently to the short excerpt of Kikyo life and then Kanshin's. Both women seemed to have had terrible occurrences in their village, just like Hikai. It made him feel a little less angry just knowing that he wasn't alone in that pain... that one pain in his heart anyway. Hikai chuckles a little when Kanshin mentions how he comes to Hidden Flame often. "Once in a blue moon is more like it," he scoffs, as Mina watches Kanshin carefully from her place behind Hikai, her arms still wrapped around the dragon's knee.
"Seeing as we are in control of this village, any repairs or expenses go to us. The Kage simply has to manage his people and keep them happy, we do the rest. Basically, we don't need your money to repair the village. However, many of our organization members are spread across the nations to try and aid with the rebuilding efforts of villages that we control, are allies, or are free villages. So, what I would like for the two of you to do, instead of slinging your money around, is to just lend a hand in your time here." Kan then looks to Hikai who raises both his eyebrows and grow a little tense. "You will stay here and help them if they decide to or leave at your leisure if they don't. But... if they don't then don't leave no matter what the villagers do to you. If you do then I will make sure to let Jenda know that you skipped out on training." Hikai cringes a little bit before shrugging.
"Fine. Why are you talking like you're leaving," Hikai asks as Kan just stares at him. The Orimara looks over at Kanshin and then Kikyo before looking back to Hikai.
"That's because I am leaving you but not the village. Since this place has been damaged by outside forces getting in, I'm going to work on building a base here like at home. It will serve as a place of residence for us when we stop by to check in and for refuge if anything happens here again." Hikai takes a step towards Kan and fans a hand at him.
"You're going to build it all by yourself? You can't possibly expect to do that. Why now all of the sudden? You only came here to bring me here, right?" Kan turns and leaves the room quietly. He doesn't respond to Hikai and simply pats the Kage on the shoulder as he leaves. "Gets all talkative and then he leaves... Anyway, I guess I'm stuck here if you guys wanna stay. As far as Akatsuki and joining our group goes," Hikai pauses and glimpses Kanshin's flame for a moment before getting a grip. "The only truly evil person in the group is our leader. She used to be a member of the Akatsuki, from what I hear, despite how weak she comes off as being. It was back when this guy named Adonis ran it. She hasn't done anything evil since being in command that I know of so if you wanna join you can. Just don't trust her or be alone with her because she is an evil person deep down." The Kage listens contently to Hikai, nodding now and then.
"Yes, yes. Very interesting. So you all are going to help fix my village?" Alyager asks, pointing to everyone--including Kikyo--and skipping over Mina and himself. Words = ?

Hidden Flame Kikyo Soshi & Ӄanshin Enkou In a profound sense every man has two halves to his being; he is not one person so much as two persons trying to act in unison. ________________________________________ ((Sorry for taking so long to give you this crappy post. I've been super busy up until..> Well, still am, but finally got around to getting this done.)) Kanshin took note that the Kage's little Mina was looking at her, but she didn't know exactly why she was. It made her fidget slightly. Maybe she was jealous of the flame she had made? She seemed like the kind of person who would take much pride in her flames and not like show-offs. Kikyo had warned her that she had a habit of showing off when too comfortable around others. The flames around Kanshin died instantly.
Kanshin listened to Kan's idea and turned to Kikyo, who was normally the ring leader of what the two would do next. She liked the sound of staying and helping the village, but Kikyo might not be too thrilled with the idea. Kikyo caught the look from Kanshin and looked up in thought. Finally, she gave a soft shrug, hardly noticeable. "If it's not a burden to your little dragon, then sure. Not as though Kanshin and I have anything better to do. Besides, that girl's just going to guilt me into if we leave without aiding in some way." The last part was said slightly pained and in a minor groan. Kanshin puffed her cheeks out lightly. "I don't guilt trip you. I just point out that you promised to be good. Or better than you used to be, Miss Demon." Kikyo smirked with a glint in her good eye. "You call me that like it's a bad thing." She looked to Kekkaishi and tilted her head slightly to the said. "Kaishi, you going to help rebuild as well, or do you have some missions to go do? I now how busy you seem to be and how quick people are to ask you to do favors." Kanshin was so happy that Kikyo agreed to let them stay that she squealed and hopped up and down as she clapped her hands together. After a few seconds of this, she stopped and face Hikai happily. "Well, even if we don't join, we could always ally ourselves to your group. Who I've met so far all seem great, and Kikyo-sempai isn't objecting to your presence-- which is a very rare thing since she doesn't trust people very quickly. I have a feeling that the two of us working with you guys, even if it isn't really with you, would be for the best interest for all~!"

kekkaishi soshi Kekkaishi sighed as he looked at Kikkyo he wondered if she was getting used to him not being around. " i finis have helping Haven..is fully rebuilt so i can help out here" he did not have much to say, he did not trust many organizations in fact he trusted none of then, the thought of Kikkyo being bound to such a thing that could be moved and changed to do evil and good. he growled lightly. he got closer to teh door. " just how do you people suggest how help? on my way here it seemed that most of the buildings got rebuilt." his question was directed towards those with the scm cloaks. in his voice was the lightest sound of impatience, a tone that was only herd once by Kikkyo when he thought she was dating someone when they first met. It was a tempting thought to just break there necks.

Hidden Flame: Hisakata [Orimara], Kan and Watari [Uchiha], Hikai Hikai listens to everything and takes careful note of Kekkaishi. He found the man's tone and words to hold a bit of a bite. "What do you mean by 'you people' anyway? Talking like we're some band of evil monsters or something the way you say that," Hikai nips back, a hint of anger in his voice. A fang peeps out from behind his lips, on the side of his mouth. The Kage and his daughter squeal admiringly which makes Hikai's fang retreat. He scowls at the Kage who just continues to squish the sides of his face inward with his hands.
"My, my. You have quite the temper, Hikai. Always a pleasure seeing your fangs come out. Perhaps we will light up this village yet~!" Hikai frowns and crosses his arms under his chest. He looks over at the wall, not wanting to really look at much else, as the village leader grows serious. "You are Kekkaishi, correct? Indeed my village seems to be in much better shape now than it has been in quite some time; Heaven too, I bargain. However, the people have been a bit solemn in Flame. Until you all pranced in here, dragging that dragon by his tail," Hikai growls lowly at the mention of him as Alyager continues, "the villagers have been in low spirits. Not every villager is without loss or sorrow. There were quite a few people who did not survive the attack. And those who did are having a hard time getting things how they were before, setting aside material things, as well as having trouble thinking of things besides their house catching fire or collapsing. Kan had been here attempting to increase morale for a while, but he isn't exactly the type of boy that can make a person laugh. He' too serious and normally not very talkative."
"And I'll be darned if I'm getting anywhere near those villagers. I'll repair things but I'm not going within yards of em. I've had enough of their fan-villagering over me for a lifetime," Hikai adds in involuntarily. Mina giggles and begins hugging Hikai's leg which makes him flickering off to the back of the room. He hisses at her but she just keeps giggling at him. Eventually she leaves him alone and wanders over to Kanshin. She gives Hikai a strange look before embracing Kanshin's leg now. Hikai's eye twitches but he remains where he is.
"And you already know how Hikai feels about the subject. I am guessing that Kan was hoping you all might..." the Kage pauses, his serious and focused face shifting into a giddy and goofy one, "convince Hikai to marry one of the ladies of the village and spread his dragon genes throughout our land-"
"Old man," Hikai snarls, emphasizing each word. Alyager laughs Hikai's snarl off which makes two fangs protrude from Hikai's mouth on either side. The Kage seems to blush which makes Hikai sigh dramatically, flailing his arms in the air and hanging his head when done.
"All right, all right. I'm certain Kan wanted you all to try your hand at accomplishing what he and those he had come here with before could not. Sadly, few members of that organization are very funny. Must have to do with their reasons for joining the group in the first place, I suppose. That or they just aren't funny." The Kage shrugs as Mina tries to convince Kanshin to keep her flames going. She liked the look and warmth of Kanshin's flame and also liked how Hikai seemed to watch them dance. She wanted to torture Hikai a bit since he kept running away while at the same time admire Kanshin's unique abilities. After all, the reason Hikai was so famous was mostly because of his manipulation of fire. So of course she wouldn't mind Kanshin showcasing her wonderful talents. Words = ?

Hidden Flame Kikyo Soshi & Ӄanshin Enkou In a profound sense every man has two halves to his being; he is not one person so much as two persons trying to act in unison. ________________________________________ Kikyo caught Kekkaishi's minor hostility and raised an eyebrow nonchalantly. Was he becoming jealous. Maybe it's the fact that she was getting used to him not being there, even if she never really could get over the slight depression having him leave left her (not that she was one to admit such a soppy thing). She spoke calmly but with a slight turn up of her lip, the same as when Kekkaishi had accused her of cheating based off of some petty rumor some admirer of Kekkaishi had developed; her voice held an edge that clearly read that she did not enjoy being accused of something she hadn't done. "Kaishi, that was rude and un-necessary. Don't think I am ready to bind myself with a group I don't fully know. This is more of getting to know any possible allies our village may some day need." Kanshin looked to Kikyo and Kekkaishi and felt almost as though she was listening to a lover's quarrel. It made her slightly uneasy, seeing as how most arguments with Kikyo had a habit of ending with heads rolling or something expensive being shattered into dust. "K- Kekkaishi-kun and K-K-Kikyo-sempai, no need to get so uneasy about such a simple favor asked by a kage. Even if the village is almost rebuilt, there's always room for improvement. Don't you think so?" She gave a small, uneasy smile and giggle with the slight tilt of her head to try to ease any friction tat may have formed. Kikyo dully noted the attempt to end what ever fight was brewing and let the subject drop. Kanshin listened to the Kage's proposal to help with moral. It was probably best not to hand Kanshin a hammer any ways. Last time she held a hammer she ended up smashing one of her fingers.... And her parents banned her from doing any construction. Even if they were dead, she was still certain that ban was in play. She smiled lightly to Hikai and rubbed the back of her head. "No offense, but Kan-kun does seem like he would have an odd sense of humor, if any at all." She felt Mina hug her leg and looked down to her before she grinned widely and gave a light mix between a squeal and a gleeful giggle. She got down to her level and brought the girl into a hug, smiling cutely and happily since she loved getting hugs from children since, in a way, she was a big child herself. "I would be more than happy to help brighten your village's mood, Alyager-dono~! Perhaps hosting a lantern festival would help~! Kikyo-sempai could even do that pretty fire-ribbon dance of hers~!" Kikyo's expression changed to match the expression Hikai had worn earlier upon finding out he was being volunteered to play celebrity. "What?! NO! Kanshin, don't volunteer me for things without my consent! I will not prance around in one of those costumes you are oh so fond of forcing me into! ******** that! I will gladly help out at a stand if a festival is what we stick to, but NO-- absolutely NO-- dancing from me! I refuse, and there is no argument with it." Kanshin squeezed her eyes shut and stood in a defensive pose as Kikyo ranted. When it was all over, she opened one eye and pouted with soft blush. "But you look so pretty in those outfits... Besides, it's really cool how your skin looks like it's on fire when you do that dance. The people here would probably really appreciate such a cool and unique thing..." Kikyo growled and bore one fang at her friend. "Do I look like a circus pony?" Kanshin stood up, releasing Mina, and dug the toe of her shoe in a small circle. "But Kikyo-smepaiiii~, you would make so many people happy. I would dance with you if you wanted me to." She looked down to Mina and then up to the Kage and Hikai. "You three agree with me, right? A festival with a dire dancer might cheer the people up, right? Maybe Hikai-kun could do some fire manipulation as well. That would really get them going~!" She allowed three little flames to appear in her hand and she looked to them fondly. "Of course, we don't have to do anything all too fancy, but a little something to distract the people is all they need. And knowing people as important as Hikai-kun and people out of the village like Kikyo-sempai, Kekkiashi-kun, and I care about them enough to help out might lift spirits." She turned to Kekkaishi now, knowing just what to use to get Kikyo to cooperate. "Kekkaish-kun, do you want to see this really cute outfit I think would be perfect if Kikyo-sempai danced? It's a bit form fitting since it's meant more for belly dancing, but I think it would look nice on her~!" She slung her bag off of one shoulder and pulled out part of a red and shimmering gold cloth as a bit of a teaser to get Kekkaishi to side with her. Kikyo sensed what Kanshin was up to and gave out a low hiss as she slowly started backing her way towards the door. "I swear, you try jumping me and putting me in that thing like you did a couple Christmases ago, I will run out this door and you won't get any where close enough to get me." Kanshin pointed lightly and mumbled out, "I did no such thing..."

kekkaishi soshi Kekkaishi sighed as he listened to Hikai and kekkaishi, they where right why was he acting this way? he should have known that she would soon get used to his difference, but if there was one person he never wanted to get used to it it was her. he listened to little fight between the two girls, all the while wondering what he could do that was unique? he suddenly found himself wondering who the true demon of heaven was, she looked so beautiful and he wondered if somewhere deep inside of her she was enjoying herself." What kanshin was saying that they could all do was definitely something interesting and the fact that Kikkyo had danced in the past astounded he remember getting his arm almost broken after one dance. he looked at Kanshin and put on his best smile wich dropped when he saw what she wanted Kikkyo to wear, kekkaishi blushed like he only did when he liked what She was wearing. " I am sorry Kanshin.. but i woudl not like others to see kikkyo wearing that, if she wants to wear it i cant stop her but if she does not then don't force her."He could not help but chuckle a little as he looked around the room, all the people here had specialties or could do something amazing with flame, they belonged in this village.. he.... he was just like heaven a far away cloud that never touched the earth unless it was a mountain
