The creatures that mimicked the experiment's powers became more aggressive with the prolonging of the battle, starting with the elemental user. Instead of making defensive maneuvers it acted on Kioko's motions. As the water bullets came towards it, it brought up a wall of flame. While several of the water bullets made it through the barrier before it was up, making scratches and deep impression wounds, the flame barrier would quickly extend to Kioko.
In conjunction with this attack the beast made it's move from above on the wall. Severely enraged over being flung away, it leaped at Kioko from behind once again, making no attempt at stealth while focusing all of it's muscular power into the speed of the attack. It made another swipe at her back.
Upon seeing the acrobatic maneuvers of evasion and attack by Crow the creature realized it would have no choice but to attack head on. The creature dashed forward along the ground, and broke straight through the blades of Ki thrown towards it. While this destroyed more of it's body it was also allowed to move in while Crow was landing, hopefully catching him off balance. It thrust its arms out in order to grab him while he was in the air and bring him into a bear-hug lock.

Kioko, being more than prepared for the attempt of the animal, felt it's ki energy shoot up, advancing on her. With the fire wall advancing rapidly, she did a duck and side step turn from the attack of the animal beast and shot her arms out aimed at the beast. Only a nano-moment later, she shot another powerful gust of wind at the beast's back and shot him towards the advancing firewall.

Crow was coming out of the kick and landing when the creature came at him with open arms. The attack method was obvious, so Crow extended his legs fully which, being so close to the ground, quickly planted them on solid ground before the creature hit. He then bent his legs and caught the creature, they now both had each other locked. Crow took the initiative in attack and drew back his skull then thrust it forward in a brutal headbutt. He then allowed not a normal aura of Ki, but a blaze of active power to surround his body and envelop the creature as well.

In lack of conscious consideration for the other creature, and the blind ambition of Kioko's destruction the creature did not release it's wave of flame, but rather allowed it consume the other creature and continue advancing on Kioko. It focused more of it's own abilities into the wall forcing it to grow larger and hotter, and perhaps, most importantly, much faster, fueling itself with the body of the fallen ally.
The creature fighting Crow found itself in a mutual grapple rather than having the advantage, then stricken by a rough attack. Finally as the aura of Ki spread it was not intimidated, the creature fought back with its own aura, pushing Crow's back until they're powers were held in stalemate. In addition the creature dug it's long claws into Crow's body, forcing its advantage further and solidifying their current position.
While the experiments fought the crystals on the sides of the room glowed and almost seemed to pulsate in space. They were becoming lively and active as the battles became more intense. Their influence spread across the room, though not at full power throughout, they seemed to react to Crow and Kioko's use of their powers.

((okay, time for crystal reactions...))
Kioko stared as the animal creature was burned to a crisp. but this was no time for her to stay there. Just as quickly, she rose up a thick earth wall and got it moving towards the advancing fire wall. She ran right behind it and as soon as it came into contact with the fire wall, it created an opening just enough for her to jump and slip through. However, miscalculation the intensity of the fire, it began to close around the earthen was just as quickly as it was parted. Kioko, being in mid-jump quickly fused the little water she was able to gather in the heat with some air to counter the fire enough for her to pass through safely. However, her seal began reacting with the pulsations of the crystals even more and her shoulder with the seal, the right, tensed up from the dark energy trying to release. She lost concentration for that split second, letting some dark energy creep out and mixed with the ice particles, allowing the fire to slip through and grazed over the top portion of her arm, burning it.
She pushed through the crumbling earth wall in time to avoid burning to a crisp and landed on the other side. Kioko grabbed her right shoulder and attempted to supress the dark energy but found it unable to. The pulsating crystals were slowly allowing cracks in the seal for the energy to seep through. She ignored the small burn on her arm and charged at the elemental creature for some close combat. She concentrated magic onto her limbs that allowed her to strike with heavier damage than without it.

Crow would not allow the creature's reckless suicidal maneuvers to go unpunished. He tightened his grip on the creature's arms and flipped his torso back as if he were about to perform a backflip. Instead however, he kept his feet planted on the ground, simply swinging the opponent's body over his own and into the ground behind him, keeping hold of it's arms. He made the movement quickly and suddenly in opes of catching the creature completely unaware and crushing it into the ground.

The manipulator of elemental magic braced itself for the oncoming attacks after Kioko successfully emerged from the wall of earth and flame. It could feel the magical empowerment in Kioko's body. In counteraction it created a wall made up of the four elements combined. Blazing fire, solid earth, jagged frozen water and a sharp wind circled out from the creature. Meanwhile it tried to concentrate some remaining power to heal its wounds.
The creature using Ki was slightly surprised by Crow's throw attack, however it was not caught in a tight enough spot to which it could not defend itself. Instead of simply being smashed into the ground it dug its claws into Crow's arms further, and even then when it had almost hit the ground it bent its legs and caught itself, leaving both itself and Crow bent backwards at the knees and staring at eachother upside down.

Kioko growled under her breath as she jumped back to not get caught in the defense of the creature. The only upside of this was that she was able to catch herself a breather moment and inspect the dark energy swirling around her right arm now. Dark element was powerful, that is, if she learned to use it. but the downside to it was that if one depended on it for too long, it would corrupt their mind with nothing else but the urge to attack everything and everyone, foe or not. Every element had a dark side to it, and they were all sealed up.
'I could try to use some dark element, it might be strong enough to break through the barrier.' she thought to herself, testing it out if she was able to control the element or not.
Unfortunately, she was only able to wield it in the arm it surrounded and the seal felt like it was about to burst. This would be her only chance to destroy the creature. Infusing magic once again to her limbs, Kioko ran straight for the barrier of the 4 elements. infusing a concentrated amount of dark magic in her right arm with the magic she put there, it began swirling violently around her skin. As Kioko's fist made contact with the wall, the dark element swirled viciously against the creature's own magic as if it was battling them on their own to prevent it from getting to Kioko. The focused magic energy shattered the section of the shield she punched and fell down to reveal the creature.
'i need to get a shot of its head with my magic!' Kioko thought to herself.

Crow would not allow the opponent to escape damage, he pursued with aggressive techniques. The moment the dark beast's feet touched the ground was the moment Crow's left it as he jumped backwards in a flip that placed him above the creature. Before landing on top of it he thrust his right leg down, hoping to smash the prone creature into the ground from here he landed on its shoulders with his knees, pinning it. He wasted no time in proceeding to throw a brutal barrage of Ki charged hooks, alternating between his arms. Each blow, whether the creature managed to somehow avoid it or not, swung with such force that the ground beneath was crushed by the air pressure alone. After roughly two dozen swings Crow drew back his right fist, now blazing with an inferno of azure flame and smashed into where the creature's face would be, creating a great circular wave of destructive Ki that spread out a great distance before dissipating against the walls and leaving scorch marks. The final punch smashed the reinforced arena floor into rubble for yards around.

The creature that fought with Crow was stunned by the unorthodox method in which he continued to push his offense. Finding itself pinned and defenseless without its arms it released its claws from Crow's arms and threw them out as the punches came, blocking most of the attacks. Unfortunately, it was not enough, the impacts that the creature did not block eventually rendered it unconscious, and unaware of the next happenings. With the final smash its upper torso was annihilated, its only consolation that it went quickly.
Meanwhile the wave of Ki that spread fell across the elementalist, however it did not notice. It too was surprised by the power of its rival, its barrier crushed a moment after it was raised, in a single maneuver nonetheless. The creature began to shift to the left and right, trying to decide the safest route of attack. It decided to attack to Kioko's left, while it would mean any attacks from the darkness infused arm would likely have more power behind them the creature felt the need to stay far away from the limb. As the experiment came close to Kioko it threw a huge rolling wheel of flame that moved to collide with her left side.
With the wave of Ki the crystals went wild, reacting and absorbing not only the Ki signature, but the impressions of the owner's power. Shortly after the crystal began to absorb all light from around them for a second as they reached out and spread their influence directly to the Ki user.

Kioko darted straight forward aiming for the creature's head. She could feel the strong pulsations of the crystal now affect her more than ever. it would only be a matter of time before everything would release, and then she would need to control it rather than fight. When the firewall came out of the creature, she braced herself with what little ice magic she was able to gather in that short moment. However, the sudden burst of the crystal's power allowed a huge release of the dark energy to come out, completely blowing away her ice shield as well as the oncoming fire wheel.
Her right arm was completely covered now with the swirling dark energy as well as it was beginning to transfer over to the other arm. She took this momentarily added boost of energy and appeared to flicker; which was just pure speed, right in front of the monster, and with a swing of her right arm, she punched where the head was supposed to be and let forth the huge dark energy in a single blast.
The arm area closest to Kioko's seal began slowly turning black and it was spreading.

Crow rose from the creatures beaten corpse, not yet aware of the reaction of the crystal. Though when he turned to see if Kioko was alright he felt the effects. He only caught a glimpse of their battle before his muscles suddenly began to tighten and fix him in place. His mind became clouded and he felt as if something were trying to separate is mind from control of his actions. Quickly, Crow gathered a small amount of Ki flow through his body in preparation for his Kikou technique. In one moment he was surrounded by a faint glow of Ki, and the next a flash of light burst forward from his center. The influence was only gone temporarily though, the entire room became filled with it, he wouldn't have control for his mind for long if this continued.

The last remaining experiment found itself in a less than favorable position. A sudden disappearance of its rolling blaze rendered its offensive-defense impotent. With an attack by Kioko approaching its options were cut down. In an instant it decided to use the one option it felt available. Again relying on its flame control it siphoned all of the magic it could muster at that moment into a single point and caused it to combust and explode, resulting in a massive shockwave of heated and expanding air. This forced both Kioko's dark energy attack and the experiment back. While this put distance between the creature and the dangerous attack the competing forced knocked the creature down on the ground with little energy left.
