Back-equip wings are such a demanded item that the admins wanted to ensure that anyone could get a pair for themselves, no matter how early or late they joined Gaia. So back-equip angel/demon wings will never be released via a donation letter. I don't know if it's official or just speculation, but back-equip wings are supposed to be one of the quest prizes.

I want a fly swatter. XD And a black whip. And a chainmail shirt, a blue sleeveless tunic trimmed in silver, steel gauntlets and grieves, a hand-and-a-half sword with a golden hilt and blue pommelstone, a matching dagger, and a blue, floor length cloak trimmed in silver with plenty of drape. And a chibi unicorn horn forehead decoration. Plus a white horse's tail. And white back-equip wings. And little drop or stud earrings in every color of the rainbow. And angelic/demonic earrings with a sparkle option. And plates of food that I can put in my house. Also little cockroaches that I can put on the floor. Oh, and a PS2 and a set of televisions with the option to choose from a picture of Cindy, a tropical fish, or a generic RPG-like picture. Ooh, and fishbowls with a few different fishie choices. And wall clocks. Maybe one grandfather clock. Ooh, and a fish to mount on the wall. Also photographs of the admins and posters of the NPCs to hang on the walls as well. Ooh, and I really want a counterpart to the Angelic Sash in the form of a dark grey wisp of smoke that curls around your body. And...
