I'm more apt to believe that it is unnatural from a genetic determinism perspective, because I'm still rather skeptical of the position that we've evolved past eating meat as a species. However, I would say that we're lead to believe that we need much more than we really do. I'm fairly moderate on the subject, ironically enough.

It wasn't a legitimate political event, it was a clever Get Out The Vote campaign by the California Republican elite. But, I have full faith that it'll work it's way through the judicial system and get struck down there. Civil rights aren't an issue for the ballot, they're an issue for the courts. In my world, anyway.
