*Even Maggie can't keep from smiling at Felicity's remark. She watches Luke fade and then says, as much to herself as to Felicity* He is set te rally us all, I think .. *something about her tone sounds both grateful and concerned at once*
*She turns back to Felicity* I am sorry, though, te have been the bearer of bad tidings te ye. This place can be hard enough te take in just as itself, I know.

"No, I'm glad you told me. It's one more thing to worry about, but at least now I know what to look for." She smiles slightly, giving another indifferent shrug. She still wasn't too thrilled with the idea of having no say on when she would be pulled into the Brink, but the fact that she was able to leave whenever she wanted was somewhat comforting. The Seraphim, on the other hand, was a different matter. That made Felicity almost wish she'd never gotten involved with this place.
But as long as there are ways to either avoid him or get away from him fast, and no guarantee that she'll even see the person, she doesn't mind being there. "Well, I hope this thing resolves itself at some point," she says after a second. "For everyone's sake."

Felicity frowns slightly, seeing Maggie fade away in the middle of a sentence. Now I'm going to be wondering what she was going to say.... She sighs slightly and glances around the room again, looking at the rack of keys by the door.
"Might as well...." She stands up and walks over, selecting her key from the rack and putting it into the keyhole. With a last look back at the room, she shakes her head and opens the door, wondering what good will ever become of this before walking through.

Janani fades in, and she appears to be rubbing a stiff shoulder. Rotating her neck, she lets out a yawn. As she's holding WhiteRose in the underarm of the shoulder being 'nursed', she doesn't move her hand to stifle the yawn. She might even appear groggy to the onlooker. Again, she's dressed in attire that seems more festive, like she's in the Christmas mood. She hasn't noticed that she's in the Brink yet...

Looking as if she were on a set track to begin with, Janani is heading in a straight line. She slowly begins to flutter her eyes open...only to notice something not quite right... She sighs when she realizes that she is in the Brink rather than her original destination.
Oh... I was hoping to be home a bit sooner...

The one and only problem with Winter attire...? Janani doesn't need it, and it's making her sweat. Wiping a few beads from her brow, she removes the earmuffs, but she thinks better on taking off her jacket. She can't just be wandering around in her lingerie. After all, she has no idea who will show up and when. At least the earmuffs aren't being worn anymore... Wandering around the bar, she brings WhiteRose to her chest with a tight hug. She decides she may as well get something to drink. She doesn't know how to choose to leave the Brink, and she's not tired enough to get a nap in her room.
Thusly! Janani decides to grab a random wine bottle, pop the cork, and begin to drink... At least she would if she hadn't been interrupted. Not that she minds. Sato just surprised her. Blinking and looking at the fighter pilot, if she recalled correctly, Janani tilts her head as her hug tightens around WhiteRose. The plush seems awfully flexible to survive the massive grip she must have. Is she shy, then?

Oh...
Strange. Sato seems so excited about...killing somebody. It truly is war where she comes from. Janani can't help but sigh.
I'm glad to see you survived, then.
She does remember something said before from this rather...hot tempered woman. Janani just has to remind herself that if Angels were to choose sides in a war, even mere Celests like herself, the scales would be tipped unfairly. Humans must be allowed to choose their own destiny.
Uhm... Can I ask you something...about the war?

Have the leaders...tried to come to a treaty at all?
For Sato's sake and for the sake of all the humans of her time, Janani hopes some kind of resolution is on the horizon... The sooner the better.
