Zadina gasped "Oh you're right, I'd forgotten all about Gil" he said shutting his book quickly "How bad of me I'd best hurry down to see him" he said moving over to the door stopping to give Felina a hug before leaving "Thank you cousin, I appreciate the talk" he said breaking away to bow before leaving for downstairs.
Oassu rolled his eyes "I think I know a thing or two about general stealth still give me a break it's my first time pulling off jutsu like this and I hardly was trained from birth like you were" he said irritated. "Still thanks, I hope you don't go playing any naughty tricks on Gil with this" he teased in retaliation.
Mari shook her head leaning in close to Hebal "I might have had a little too much to drink I mean" she whispered oblivious to Sophia staring across the room at Hayate "But don't worry Hebal from what I hear most Viera villages are very exclusionary and you are a lovely person so don't worry about it" she said patting Hebal on the back.
Itaka laughed "You don't think she'll try and bring back a whole cactuar nation do you? Hayate would never allow it though I wonder if Alpha would" he smirked stroking Seph's wings "She certainly has an affinity with creatures that one" he said

Seph nodded "If it were her airship yes she would have a cactuar nation. Alpha I think would probably let her have at least one though if it didnt make a mess. Its a bit scary how she has such an affinity with them you would think she was a fiend or had some dark lord relative somewhere down her family tree though pretty sure those are extinct now so not likely" she laughed allowing her wings to flap happily in response.
Hebal shook her head "Nope you eat your waffle first Hayate or else it will get cold and not be as nice to eat" she insisted while she focused as hard as she could on the mixture "So how do I know when its ready? Though you should watch how much you are drinking Mari, it can make young ladies like yourself really ill if not careful. More reasons you wouldnt like my village is because if you are caught being drunk you get locked up until it has worn off"

Satoshi laughed "Why would I want to do dirty tricks on Gil? Not much fun to be had out of being too mean. You'll get the hang of it though in time. Try again. Only this time I want you to try and imagine you are going completely invisible" she advised clapping her hands together to dispell her own ability. "You may have not been raised as a ninja from birth though it means you do have other skills. For example most ninja are terrible when it comes to things like lockpicking and pickpocketing"
Hayate smiled grabbing a knife and fork "Ok well if you are sure, I trust you can repeat your success" he lied cutting a two small pieces to offer to both Ivy and Sophia. "Also if you are going to drink too much, there isnt really a better day to do it than the dragon festival and Mari clearly took care of herself well enough. You viera don't realise what you are missing sometimes all cramped away in your forests."

Oassu raised an eyebrow "I don't know, I know I might like to use a trick like this to pay surprise visits to Felina" he chuckled to himself quietly "Still I'm surprised Ninja schools don't cover any of those things, lockpicking is such a useful skill to have" he said stretching his arms "Right again it is" he said performing the handsigns again as his body faded into the wall rendering him near invisible "Well, hows this?" he asked with a smile as he was unable to spot his own arm easily "Looks good to me, does this work with the passing through walls ability? Or would I have to break invisibility to try it?" he asked happily
Ivy frowned and hopped away from Hayate to Hebal's other shoulder while Sophia accepted the waffle bit happily biting into it "Hebal is right Hayate, it can be dangerous, and I should know better what with this lovely little lady to look after" she said petting Sophia's tail before peeking in on Hebal's mix "A minute more I think Hebal, you shouldn't be able to identify the ingredients in their original form if it's mixed well" she advised.
Itaka shrugged "Well Ivy is fairly harmless, and beastmasters have made a practice of taming fiends for a long time, I'm sure she's probably not the first person to tame a tonberry, she's just a natural for it." he shrugged "And if she can persuade fiends to leave us alone then all the better in my eyes" he said sighing happily.

Hebal shrugged but slowed down in her stirring of the mixture "Sounds like a great way to tell if its ready only I forgot what ingredients I just put in there. I think its done anyway. I also dont think theresmuch for you to do her"she added noticing Ivy had moved. We viera mostly learn to have fun without having much to drink. Like instead people will be dancing and frolicing like you elves used to do once upon a time and should take up again sometime" she argued.
Seph sighed "Yeah true enough I guess but I still get a kick out of taking them on and getting some potential loot off them. It's good money you must admit if your doing it properly" she sighed. "I could also really do with some more fiend action purely to practice my time magic a bit more"

Satoshi paused "Well uh I.. don't think Gil would appreciate that kind of visit. He's a bit of a prude and more of a save stuff for marriage kind of person. But uhh yeah, you pretty much share a room so unless sneaking around her parents you probably wouldnt need to be invisible to surprise her right" she mumbled while she watched Oassu. "ninjas from birth are lazy. Why learn to pick locks when you can just learn to shove your handt hrough. Personally I dont like putting my hand in mystery places if I can avoid it. Anyway no you can't combine them Im afraid if your half in and half out of something, it makes you visible at least until you pass through plus the concentrationit requires you would probable get yourself stuck trying at your level"
Hayate snickered "Suit yourself Ivy, more for Sophia if you don't want a piece" he shrugged giving Felina a wave from across the room "Only forest elves frolic I'm afraid Hebal. Wouldn't catch us desert elves wasting the energy. You can ask Felina if you don't believe me. She does more than most" he joked.

Oassu sighed "When you put it that way it makes a bit of sense, why pick locks when you can act as if the door is open but we'll see I'm sure it won't be all that bad" he said dispelling the jutsu "Still thanks for that, I'll be sure to put it to good use" he promised Satoshi laughing slightly "Though shame he's a bit of a prude, I'm sure you've both got needs or whatever but if you're both happy that's what matters" he said brightly.
Sophia happily accepted another piece of waffle nibbling away at it while Mari watched over Hebal's shoulders "Yeah that looks pretty good, you shouldn't worry "There was plenty of dancing as well though and music too, I think that's just a custom at any celebration though" she said beckoning Ivy to hop onto her own shoulder.
Itaka grinned "What about that book Zadina got you? Could always use that, or practice on me assuming it's not too dangerous" he suggested stroking Seph's hips "Still so long as Mari doesn't start waving a sign begging us to 'protect the fiends' she's alright in my book" he said idly splashing the water.

Hebal smiled waving for Felina to come over to them "Hey Feli? Hows Zadina doing? Also is it true that only forest elves frolic around the dragon festival or is Hayate just using it as an excuse for being a grumpy old man" she asked her while she placed the dough onto the pan. "we're making waffles want to help us? Though Mari I don't think all celebrations have that sort of activity. I can't imagine most demons being very festive" she pondered.
Seph paushed playfully splashing Itaka using her tail "I have looked at a few bits and bobs also done a little bit of training while you slept. I think I have pretty much mastered gravity for now. Though really I don't think theres much I can practice on you unless you want me to temporarily turn you into an old man. The spell old is only temporary though and not lethal though but should spook any enemies and both slow them down and weaken them."

Felina shook her head "Its not true. It's only the desert and snow elves that don't frolic much. Thats more because the snow elves have sticks up their backs and desert elves don't like anything that doesnt involve some form of violent activity. Hayate on the other hand is a grumpy old man" she answered back jokingly.
Hayate simply laughed surprised that Hebal had even asked the question "Someone has to play the grumpy responsible one in the group at times considering Alpha is the least mature of the lot of us. The dragon festival tradition for the desert elves is to make as many fire arrows as possible at night and launch them into the sky. Never undersood the reason why though"
Satoshi yawned swinging her legs while she was seated on the bed "Ok then Oassu, your turn. Find me something out there that takes your fancy" she instruted. "It's not often in a relationship someone has less needs than myself. Though ninja really need to avoid cutting corners since its not something you can do on a job. Pickpocketing us a useful skill for any ninja to have also. Much less messy than mugging or robbing them while they sleep"

Oassu tilted his head "Not quite sure what you mean, what do you want me to go and find you?" he asked idly examining the decorations on Satoshi's side of the room "Still I doubt Ninja get contracted for that many thief jobs anyway, though certainly got the skillset for it with those jutsu" he said.
Mari giggled "I'm sure Demons can be very festive in their own way" she said watching the waffle batter to ensure it was all in "Zadina just disappeared downstairs before you so I think you probably done a good job cheering him up" she said cleaning a piece of waffle off Sophia's clothes.
Itaka playfully snapped his teeth back at the tail "On second thoughts I'd rather not be an old man and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want that either, still if you want to work on a spell to make us younger I'm sure we'll appreciate that" he chuckled "Though you still have the body of an eighteen year old anyway" he added playfully stroking Seph.

Hebal nodded "Yeah I guess that makes sense since he will be getting training from Gil and Oassu is still up to no good with Satoshi and her ninja tricks I'll bet" she agreed holding the frying pan with both hands swaying it ever so slightly back and forth over the heat. "So do princesses ever have to learn to cook at all with all the servants around? Cause its a useful skill to have"
Seph shook her head "I don't think theres any way to make people look young forever. If you could it probably would have been found by now. Perhaps theres a temporary one though that lasts an hour or two. Though you exaggerate my physical age there. I am easily physically in my mid twenties by now" she guessed suddenly tensing up a little.

Satoshi shook her head "No what I mean is flick through that book and see if theres anything quick that you think looks interesting. Trust me its easier to show you how to do jutsu rather than read about how to do it in a book. Otherwise, we can work out what element you would be best with if you don't already know" she suggested.
Felina noodded "Yeah Zadina is fine for now, just missing Amane a little at the moment. And sure I can help out. I may not have much cooking experience living in a palace and all but Hayate did show me how to make waffles once or twice. You guys can all keep me right I am sure. Wan't me to start on a second one?" she offered
Hayate paused "A demons idea of festives usually involves gambling, drinking and freezing or setting things on fire. Its usually not a successful celeration if a few fights havent broke out" he informed them with a small laugh. "See I taught the princess some real life skills. You never know when you will need to know how to make a good waffle"

Oassu shrugged "I'll look through this myself later on," he said gesturing to the book "Lets do the element thing, figure that's probably quite an important one to learn if it's going to be the basis of most of my jutsu" he said stretching to warm up.
Mari nodded "Please do, Felina would be nice to make enough for everyone" she said picking up Sophia for a cuddle while she peeked over Hebal's shoulder to see that she was doing ok. Though I wonder if that boy is truly suited to swordplay" she said doubtfully looking over towards the trapdoor.
Itaka chuckled "Well you've got the stamina of a younger woman that's for sure" he said nibbling on Seph's horn slightly "Though considering what Oassu and Felina are looking for right now it might be quite possible after all don't you think?" he chuckled nuzzling Seph.

Seph paused tilting her head "Well I guess but even then what they are doing is slowing down aging rather than stopping it. Call me a cynic though but things like that to me will come at a high price that people arent always worthy of having. Though I suspect in their case the item will more likely just make Oassu's age gravitate towards Felina's. Glad we dont have that problem though I suspect you age a little faster than me" she predicted playing with her tail while she thought.
Hebal cheered happy to get some extra help "Well I think theres better food than waffles you could have been taught how to do Felina but glad to have the extra help. We should totally make some for Zadina and Gil too for when they finish. I bet Zadina will be very tired after" she decided debating whether to try and turn over her waffle just yet taking glances at Mari for some kind of direction.

Satoshi scratched her head in confusion "Thats weird. Thought it would have been something you knew already but ok. Just give me one second... I think people would want me to use the door for this one" she told him grabbing one of her empty paint pots before making a quick thirty second trip to the bathroom to fill it up with water. "Now in case you havent guessed, the element that I favour are both water and fire. Most ninja don't get more than one element that they are best at but when they do it tends to be genetic. My dad is the same as me. Just put your finger in the water and focus your chakra into it" she instructed.
Hayate nodded his head in agreement "Oh sure he will never be a sword master like Gil, but Im not going to stop him from trying a little. It's about as childlike as you see Zadina when he has them fantasies of sword fighting on adventures with Gil. It's nothing a lot of other boys would'nt do. He shrugged taking his now empty plate to the sink.
Felina smiled carefully weighing out each individual ingredient out "I think its cute seeing him run around waving a sword. Though if I am going to keep travelling, you guys are going to have to show me how to cook more. I can't rely on you guys forever and I cant picture cooking to be Oassu's thing. Knowing him he would just burn everything"
